A Report On Gonzalo Lira’s Disappearance

UPDATE [H/T TO CHR who commented on this post yesterday, leaving this link. Alex Christoferou of The Duran [?] interviewed Gonzalo Lira who had been captured by the SBU and then released.  He is fine now, although forbidden from leaving Kharkov. I did not post anything about it yesterday, as it was [Orthodox] Good Friday.

It doesn’t look good so far, with Lira caught between a rock [SBU units shooting people to prevent them leaving Kharkov] and a hard place [Russian shelling of the city]. Azov  on Twitter claims to have got him, but that may simply be idle boasts.

    • Good to know. I didn’t post earlier about him because I thought people were over reacting. There was a report about internet being hit in Kharkov a few days back and then heavy shelling and obviously he was lying low. He’s lucky but he should quit pushing his luck. So my advice to him is you did a great job. Quit while you’re ahead and go some place safer and get us the news from there.
