1.Shortly after blogging on certain ongoing and past problems, I got two emails. Each of them is from an IP from my residence in the US… and now here abroad. The messages were odd and mildly threatening.
2. RSS feeds and twitter have been broken – for some time apparently.
3. And now, the latest – my wiki entry (set up by others) has been tagged to be deleted. Why now suddenly? After 5 years and support by numbers of people? Editing is one thing. Why tagged for deletion?
It seems like somebody is on a power trip. You must have touched a nerve.
I knew a person once who pretended to be my friend. Once I figured out he was an opportunist and was taking advantage of the friendship, I called him out, it caused him a loss. People like that take revenge any way they can get it, equal or greater than they feel they have been damaged. To them, it is your fault they took a loss while taking advantage of you. That little trinket, it heard you call it out and it ran home. Now the other guy is going to take two trinkets worth back from you, maybe more.
You know this is so if you haven’t heard anything close to a denial, remorse, regret, or an apology.

There is no way you can come out winning against powerful people..
I asked nicely – it didn’t work.
I asked brusquely – worked for a bit, then when I turned my back it went back to being what it was…
I tried subtle things, I tried ignoring, I tried confrontation in public…
You can’t win.
It’s to be expected.

I must say I am deeply disappointed by libertarianism recently…deeply.
I wonder if I am not really much closer to the left libertarians…in some way.
It seems more important to be ethical than to be absolutely right on economics.
Have you read Thursday’s column at Lew Rockwell’s site about Jack Abramoff? If Anderson and Chafetz are correct, Jack got his face stomped by the powerful.
I think you are getting chased around because you have an excellent moral compass and will not knuckle under. The powerful hate that.
