People are simply not being honest with themselves on either side of the aisle. Conservatives who blast Obama’s admittedly socialist policies are blind to Bush’s malfeasance, including the infamous Paulson 700BUSD Save the World heist. Obots are equally naive to ignore that the current administration’s economic and foreign policy positions are, by and large, an extension of the previous administration’s.
Someday we may wake up but I doubt it. In spite of being right virtually 100% of the time, RP remains a voice in the wilderness. Now that “recovery” has landed at our doorstep, people simply don’t want to hear it. They will eventually, but by then it will be too late.
I’ve wondered this myself. I found it especially bizarre that Cindy Sheehan was in Dallas protesting against Bush just this week (http://cbs11tv.com/local/cindy.sheehan.bush.2.1195203.html).

….well, at least Chicom AK47s would be cheap and easy to get.
