Compelling! Of course the “threats of Iran or whatever is the devil du jour announced by the state do wonders for defense stocks. I suppose this does wonders for his resource holdings–selling his book and benefit clients and or info subscribers a la Agora? Perhaps he is right, maybe he is selling his book. I’ve followed Marc Faber for a while..
He seems pretty knowledgeable to me and he’s extremely well regarded in Asia.

I think as general advice it’s good.
It’s natural to talk up one’s books…but I think most of these people are positioned based on their
sincere understanding of where the economy’s headed.
They sell gold, and most of them own gold…at what price they bought it would depend on their risk appetite..
Take the ideas, research them and then tailor them to fit your individual circumstances…
