Sustained by scholarship, peanut butter and a sense of mission, American Bryan Rigg is exploring an eerie and uncharted no man’s land of Holocaust history.
Rigg interviews former German soldiers of Jewish heritage, some of them high-ranking officers, who fought for Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich in World War II–during the Holocaust, when the Nazis slaughtered 6 million Jews.

“Thousands of men of Jewish descent and hundreds of what the Nazis called ‘full Jews’ served in the military with Hitler’s knowledge. The Nazis allowed these men to serve but at the same time exterminated their families,” Rigg said.

On a heady journey of personal and professional discovery, the 25-year-old Texan has talked with more than 300 of these veterans, including a handful in California. Passed along from one old soldier to another, he has crisscrossed Germany over four years, often by bicycle, sometimes sleeping in railroad stations to stretch his budget.

Rigg said he has documented the Jewish ancestry of more than 1,200 of Hitler’s soldiers, including two field marshals and 10 generals, “men commanding up to 100,000 troops.” In about 20 cases, soldiers of Jewish heritage were awarded the Knight’s Cross, Germany’s highest military honor, he said.

This severe strain of acute hepatitis has been identified in nearly 170 children across 11 countries in recent weeks — raising concerns from the World Health Organization (WHO) of the disease’s “unknown origin.”

The symptoms afflicting the children include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain — before their livers showed signs of inflammation. At least one death was previously reported by WHO.

Belgian journalist Jean-Paul Mulder and historian Marc Vermeeren conducted tests on 39 of the Nazi leader’s relatives earlier this year.

A Belgian news magazine reported that according to Mulder’s and Vermeeren’s study, Hitler’s relatives have a chromosome called Haplopgroup E1b1b (Y-DNA) that is rare in Germany and Western Europe. It could have its roots in Africa and the Middle East.

“It is most commonly found in the Berbers of Morocco, in Algeria, Libya and Tunisia, as well as among Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews,” Mr Vermeeren said in the article.

According to the report, Haplogroup E1b1b1 accounts for about 18 to 20 percent of Ashkenazi and 8.6 percent to 30 percent of Sephardic Y-chromosomes. “It appears to be one of the major founding lineages of the Jewish population,” the Daily Mail reported.

There have been other suggestions that Hitler had Jewish blood.

Hitler’s father, Alois, might have been an illegitimate child of a Jewish man called Frankenberger and a German maid, Maria Schickelgruber, which would make Hitler one-quarter Jewish. Hitler’s nephew, Patrick, may have tried to blackmail him over Alois’ ancestry.

Russia’s foreign ministry continued its diplomatic attack on Israel this morning.

“We have drawn attention to the anti-historical statements of Israeli Foreign Minister Jair Lapid, which largely explain the direction in which the current Israeli government supports the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev,” they wrote on Twitter.

“For some reason, the Western press (and some of our liberals) are still debating whether there are neo-Nazis in Ukraine. Vladimir Zelensky’s Jewish origin is cited as one of the arguments. The argument is not only untenable, but also cunning. “Unfortunately, history shows tragic examples of cooperation between Jews and Nazis,” they write, citing several examples of Jews who are remembered “for their absolutely monstrous deeds.”

A Canadian high-ranking officer tried to escape from the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol.

General Trevor Kadier  [sic] was arrested by Russian military personnel, media reported. According to information, the general led the First Biolab, where 18 people worked on the creation of a deadly virus.

The general has already been taken to Moscow, media reports.

Against the shallow assessment that global inflation is caused by Russia’s war on Ukraine and the Western sanctions on Russia, No Cold War’s briefing no. 2 points its finger at the root of the crisis: the distortions produced by US military spending and by the Wall Street-Dollar-IMF regime gripping the world economy.

In December 2021, the IMF’s Georgieva said that Europe’s governments must not allow economic recovery to be endangered by the ‘suffocating force of austerity’. This is part of the West’s astonishing double-standards: at the same time, the IMF has enforced harsh austerity measures on the countries of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As Oxfam notes in a new analysis, during the pandemic’s second year (from March 2021 to March 2022), the IMF approved 23 loans to 22 countries in the Global South – all of which either encouraged or required austerity measures. For example, the IMF’s $2.3 billion loan agreement with Kenya required a four-year public sector pay freeze alongside higher taxes on gas and food, all while 63 percent of Kenyan households experience multidimensional poverty, according to a report by the Kenya Institute of Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA).

The austerity policies that impact the vast mass of the populations in these countries must be reversed. We need less money spent on war and more money spent to solve what Frantz Fanon called the obstinate facts of human life, such as hunger, illiteracy, and indignity.

Langston Hughes’s poetry focused on the impact of these ‘obstinate facts’ on the lives of people in the United States, people who fought against a life built on wages that equalled ‘two bits minus two’. In 1962, the United States spent $49 billion on its military ($431 billion in 2022 dollars); in 2022, as noted in briefing no. 2, the US government proposes to spend $813 billion on its military, larger than the military spending of the next eleven countries combined.

There is immense social wealth available to us, but it is spent on the parts of human life that are most destructive rather than productive. In 1962, as the US military budget began to balloon, Langston Hughes wrote:

I tire so of hearing people say,
Let things take their course.
Tomorrow is another day.
I do not need my freedom when I’m dead.
I cannot live on tomorrow’s bread.

Is a strong seed

We need to advance to the goal of human emancipation now. Not tomorrow, but now.

So, after the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian society is cleaning up more chaotically and unsystematically. But it is self-cleaning. Thus, some journalists of liberal television, as well as showmen and pop “divas” fled like cockroaches, resigned and fled Russia urgently. I am sure that everyone is sitting there, abroad, continuing to spoil and waiting – how will everything end in Ukraine and inside Russia?

That is how Alexander Nevzorov left Russia, flew to Israel, a God-fighter, Russophobe, falsifier of history, equally successful in conversations with horses and liberals. And so the question arises: why, despite his pathological and systematic open lies and slander against Russia and the Russians, is he allowed to leave peacefully? By the way, Alexei Venediktov, the leader of the “Echo of Moscow” gang, which also included Nevzorov, is still in Russia. Why not under investigation? Are they waiting for him to follow Nevzorov, Ivan Urgant and Ksenija Sob?ak? And there are many such cockroaches that have not yet managed to escape behind the pedestal from the lit light.

And more than that! Today, even those who managed to stop in some incomprehensible way are justified. As already mentioned, on March 28, the Russian judicial system annulled the decision to bequeath the rebellious and sodomite director Kirill Serebrennikov and deleted his criminal record. Justified, in short. Now Serebrenikov has the opportunity, as a “pure citizen before the law” and an “honest person”, to leave the country peacefully, so, taking what he “gained by excessive work” in the field of his machinations and vile creative theater productions, and from there, behind the hill, to continue his vile Russophobic activity.

Some kind of dualism, schizophrenia of power! Some people at the top of the government are trying to bring order, while others are acting in the interest of the “fifth column”.

And the main cockroach, Anatoly Chubais, took part in the cockroach race. At the beginning, he flew peacefully from the country, and foreign publications were the first to report on his flight, and only then V.V. Putin fired him as his special envoy. How much did he take with him, how much would he cash in there, “earned” here in Russia? Isn’t it really clear what he will do there? Namely, to “leak” all the information that he did not manage to leak while he was in Russia, to effectively and “creatively” plot intrigues against Russia in direct interaction with his Western mentors.

Next week the worst part of the Indian summer, a real summer in a particularly hot part of India, begins. As I’ve mentioned in the comments section, there’s been serious family illness and for the past six years or so that’s been my primary preoccupation. During summer it becomes dangerous for me to spend too much time reading, because even minor neglect, a half-hour away instead of ten minutes, results in problems that can become deathly serious in a trice.

From May first week to the third or fourth, the situation will be worse. Agni Nakshatram, the fire star, or, as it’s known in the West, the dog star, reigns. Temperatures are predicted to soar up to 47 degrees centigrade, which is unheard of even here.
