4-Star General: US Dissidents Should Be Interned

From earlier this summer, comes a report that General Wesley Clark, a former NATO commander, has publicly demanded concentration camps for those Americans who are sufficiently disloyal:

The statements made by retired four-star general and former NATO commander Wesley Clark to MSNBC News last Friday in support of placing “radicalized” and “disloyal” Americans in World War II-style internment camps must be taken as an urgent warning by the working class.

Clark, America’s most prominent political general, was speaking not just for himself, but for powerful layers within the US military/intelligence apparatus and ruling oligarchy who fear the growth of social opposition and are preparing to defend their interests, no matter what the cost.

The event that prompted Clark’s televised remarks was the recent killing of four Marines and one sailor at an armed forces recruiting center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Clark’s proposal for mass internment was advanced as a response to the so-called “self radicalized,” “lone wolf” phenomenon—labels that have been applied to a handful of terrorist incidents over the course of more than a decade. The vast majority of such “lone wolf” incidents have involved hapless and, in some cases, mentally disturbed individuals who were set up by FBI and police agent provocateurs.

If Clark’s proposal were implemented, such “sting” operations and subsequent frame-up trials could be dispensed with, as the “self-radicalized” were identified by their thoughts, statements or Internet postings and summarily thrown into concentration camps.

The scale of his proposed response is so disproportionate to the actual threat—which has claimed far fewer victims than mass shootings carried out by individuals who have shown no sign of being “radicalized”—that it is impossible not to conclude that there are deeper and hidden motives and processes at work.

If one takes Clark’s statements at their face value, the term “Orwellian” does not do them justice. “We have got to identify people who are most likely to be radicalized,” he said in his television interview. “We’ve got to cut this off at the beginning.” In other words, the massive and ongoing surveillance of the American population must be intensified to identify potential radicals and jail them based on their alleged thoughts or expressions.

“In World War II, if someone supported Nazi Germany at the expense of the United States, we didn’t say that was freedom of speech, we put him in a camp, they were prisoners of war,” he added.

Making the implications of his reasoning unmistakable, Clark continued: “If these people are radicalized and they don’t support the United States and they are disloyal to the United States, as a matter of principle, fine. It’s their right, and it’s our right and obligation to segregate them from the normal communityfor the duration of the conflict.”

And for how long would that be, General Clark?

Tom Sowell: We Need Thought-Control

Thomas Sowell is often a smart guy. But not always.

You shouldn’t discuss inequality, he says.

[Added: I know that title might not have been written by him and I know that he doesn’t tell you in so many words not to discuss inequality in outcomes, but that is the tendency of this piece and several others on the subject he’s written. All inequalities of outcome are not the result of inequalities of opportunity, he says. Fine. Then he cites basketball-playing and university entrance tests. Well, those are specific areas where native abilities can be shown to play a dominating role. However, what Sowell – and many libertarians – then do is to broaden this argument to a generalization that all unequal outcomes must then be the result of differing capacities, and not of other, sometimes malign, factors.
If you read LRC consistently and see when they trot out Tom Sowell , it’s invariably on race-related issues, when the fact that he is a black man gives the argument more weight.

Sowell would prefer people NOT to look at diversities of outcome but to focus on equality of opportunity. But, if malign social factors come into play, attention to opportunity equality is beside the point and Sowell’s argument becomes diversionary and tool used to keep people looking away from what is indeed often (not always) a very powerful indicator of something amiss.

Well, a philosophy of radical egalitarianism is one thing. Discussing inequalities is another.

Apparently Sowell cannot see the difference between natural distributions of wealth and power and unnatural distributions.

And he doesn’t want you to talk about either of them.

Now,there are people who grow taller than others, because of genes.

And then there are others who are wearing 10 inch high boots.

And still others are actually standing on the second floor of the house.

Sowell thinks that differentiating between these people is counter-productive to wealth creation.

Oh really?

How much wealth has Thomas Sowell created, as a think-tank book-writer?

Chanukah commemorates a miraculous victory in a war in 167 B.C.E. A Greco-Macedonian kingdom, centered in what is today Syria, had tried to outlaw the Jewish religion in its homeland in Judea and to replace it with Hellenic culture. Many Jews, in fact, supported that goal. But that is no surprise, because Hellenism had enormous appeal.

Hellenism seemed to have everything going for it. It was up-to-date, sophisticated, and intellectually satisfying. It offered wealth, health, art, and glamour. It represented the entrance ticket to an imperial civilization. Hellenism offered the opportunity to think big.

But if you think that “the heart has its reasons that reason knows not of,” if you think that there is more to life than shifting particles, if you respect science without worshipping it – in short, if you doubt that man is G?d, then wonder at the light of a miracle burning in the dark days of winter.”

Of course, this is an insightful and rich statement taken in simply literary terms. But it is, like Cahn’s Shemitah prophecy, both superficial and misleading.

And, taken literally, it is the very essence  of what it condemns: It is a masterpiece of hubris.

And that is a Greek pagan word that translates very roughly to “the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the gods.”

Hey,Hey, Ho, Ho, Western Civ Has Got To Go!

Remember that famous chant Jesse Jackson led on campus, “Hey,hey, ho, ho, Western Civ has got to go”?

It was directed against the centrality of Western classics in the University curriculum. They were to be replaced by more multicultural texts.

Ever since then, the mud people of the third-world, on whose behalf the meddlesome Jackson claimed to be speaking albeit uninvited, have been blamed for the death of Europe.

No one considered that there was a higher power that had a more malevolent and deep-rooted agenda than a mere revamp of the college canon.

Rabbi: Europe Must Die Before Messiah Comes

Some Rabbis equate Europe, as Christian (at least, in heritage), with Edom, the sworn enemy of Israel in the Old Testament.

This equation is applied especially to Italy and Germany.

Before the Jewish Messiah can arrive, Edom must be destroyed.

The migrant/refugee crisis is the tool to destroy Edom so that the Messiah can establish himself.

Rabbi Admits Shemitah Prophecy Was False

Yet another scam artist, Jonathan Cahn, bites the dust.

For all Christians, Jesus being Messiah, is the central key issue for the faith. This is also true for the Hebrew Roots Movement who use The Hebrew Calendar as the central foundation  for setting prophetic Jubilee and Sabbatical years (Shemitah). This became a major problem when Messianic Rabbi, Jonathan Cahn was confronted on one TV program, when one of his major promoters discovered that his date-setting predictions (of supposed coming calamities on America) ended up denying Jesus as the Messiah had him admit he based his book using calculations based on his own privately concocted new Hebrew Calendar, which never even existed.

Read the whole story of how Cahn’s Prophecy of a “Shemitah” judgment (7 year Biblical cycle of judgment on Israel) fell apart under a little serious questioning from another Hebrew Roots evangelist.

And yes, I know Shoebat never points out the Zionist hand in world affairs. Instead, as a converted Islamicist, he pushes the “Islamic Antichrist” line.

Police State Hungary Arrives

According to a law passed by the Hungarian parliament last week and set to take effect on September 15, the Hungarian government may declare a “state of migration emergency” to cope with the thousands of refugees crossing the border. If, on average, more than 500 migrants seek asylum each day for a month, or if more than 1,600 migrants are in reception camps each day for a week, or if migrants riot or commit violent crimes anywhere in the country, a state of migration emergency can be invoked. The emergency can cover particular regions or the entire country. It would initially last for six months — and then be renewed if necessary……..

…….”Refugees’ asylum claims would be speedily processed because, under a law that came into effect on August 1, no refugee will be eligible for asylum if they have passed through a “safe country” before entering Hungary. Since Serbia and all EU states were declared safe under this law, the only way a refugee traveling by land could enter Hungary without passing through a safe state is if the refugee entered through Ukraine. And that’s not where these refugees are coming from.

Virtually every asylum application will now be denied; judges will not even get to the stage of assessing the merits of the refugees’ cases.”

……”The state of emergency scheduled for September 15 will eventually feature draconian military and police powers. Under a law working its way through parliament, a state of migration emergency will permit soldiers to be sent to guard the borders, fully armed. They will be authorized to use dogs, rubber bullets, tear gas and nets to apprehend migrants entering illegally. Deadly force can be used against the migrants if soldiers believe that their own lives are endangered. This law passed the Committee on Police and Defense on September 9 and is scheduled to pass in the parliament on September 22, taking effect immediately.”

….”To create a more permanent police state, the government has more laws waiting in the wings.

Under a draft law recently discovered by napi.hu (with the text of the laws linked at 444.hu), the Hungarian government will create, starting January 1, 2016, a national database with a file on every Hungarian citizen. The Center for Facial Profile Analysis will adapt the photograph on Hungarian citizens’ national identity cards for use with facial recognition technology. Each photograph will be tagged with a “connection code” that will link the biometric bits with a particular person. While the law does not authorize this information to be linked to other files containing personal data, it would be very easy to do so. This new database will be a permanent contribution to the security landscape in Hungary.”

Of course, the author, a Princeton U. professor fails to analyze the other side  – the refugee/migrant flows and the connivance of intelligence agencies from NATO countries in creating this sudden crisis.

If population flows are being used to create “color revolutions” in countries surely a country has a right to defend itself.

But the sad part is that both sides only further policies already anticipated and needed by the powers-that-be.

Thus Police State Hungary it will be.

Some Business Dealings Of Orban and Levai

Aniko Levai, portrayed as the cook-book writing conservative wife of the Hungarian leader, is also a lawyer involved in some questionable deals:

It was in 1997, that is before Viktor Orbán became prime minister, that his wife, Anikó Lévai, purchased a 5.5-acre lot in Tokaj for 100,000 forints. A couple of weeks later she and two lawyer friends of the family joined forces to form a joint venture to grow wine on a total of 48 acres of land in Tokaj. She put up this lot as her share in the company, claiming that it was worth 3 million forints. As it turned out, the learned lawyers didn’t know that according to Hungarian law you cannot use agricultural land as a proxy for cash to buy a stake in a company. I don’t remember how the problem was resolved, whether the Orbáns had to dig deep into their pockets for the 3 million forints or whether, as often happened, an “angel” helped them out.

In those days the vineyard business seemed lucrative enough. During the socialist period the once highly sought after Hungarian wines, especially from Tokaj, Eger, and the Balaton region had become debased. The big Hungarian state company was mixing wines from various small producers as well as wines from different years, and therefore for even very ordinary table wine one tried to avoid Hungarian labels. However, with the change of regime individual winemakers producing quality wines emerged, and it looked as if there would be big money in these ventures. (As it turned out there wasn’t.)

Buying land in general seemed to be a promising business in those days, and even today. Agricultural land prices are still very low but anybody with some business acumen, which both Viktor Orbán and Anikó Lévai seem to have, knows that once the restriction on foreigners buying land in Hungary is lifted, prices will go up and up. In addition to the Tokaj investment, the Orbáns also bought quite a few acres of agricultural land in the village where Orbán grew up. I had to laugh when I heard Orbán say on one of the videos available on his website that once he retires he wants to be a farmer! Somehow I don’t think that we will see Viktor Orbán sitting on a tractor any time soon, if at all. My guess is that they purchased the land for speculative purposes.”

Such are Hungary’s “Christian nationalists” – the same bunch of pseudo-Christian/anti-Christian opportunistic crony-capitalist frauds that run the show everywhere, no better, and in many cases much worse, than government bureaucrats.

But there is a definite conflict of interest if the government hands out subsidies to a company co-owned by the wife of the head of the government. Of the 570 applicants in 2001 481 received less than 10 million forints and only two received more than 40 million in national and county subsidies. The highest subsidy was 44,636,000 forints to the Royal Tokaji Borászati Kft (39 St. James Place, London) whose owner was Sir Nigel R. Wilson. The second highest (34,324,000 ft.) sum granted by the state went to the Szárhegy D?l?- Sárazsadány-Tokajhegyalja Kft. (a mouthful all right!), that is the tract of 48 acres owned by Anikó Lévai, the two lawyer friends, and by this time a well-heeled Hungarian refugee from 1956, Dezs? Kékessy. (Kékessy settled in Geneva and became a research physician and owner of at least two companies: Bio Medical SA and Bio Analitic.) The company also received another 7,151,000 ft. from the Megyei Területfejlesztési Tanács, i.e. the Land Development Council of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. That county subsidy, of course, also came from taxpayer money.

I’m not going to list all the lucrative and influential positions Anikó’s partners received during the Orbán period because the list would be too long.”

The extreme anti-government position today is a thoroughly Talmudic position, advocated by the Sanhedrin and its many mouth-pieces to dissolve opposition to itself.

The Gospel at no point advocated the over- throw of governments, nor taught their unique evil.

Nor is there one word in the New Testament to any of the Roman soldiers or centurions that they should put down their swords forever.

The harshest words in the Gospel are directed at the religious leadership (the priests and the rabbis).
