The Real Rape Culture On American Campuses

Dr. Lori Handrahan has compiled an astounding list of convicted child-pornographers (hard-core rape/torture of children as young as 3 months) on American (and Canadian) campuses.

In some cases, the crimes go beyond pornography to actual rape.

Included on the list of convicted child pornographers are renowned educators holding high office ( in Canada),  the President of  American university,  a Yale-trained senior professor who coached Girls Scouts,  a brilliant MIT researcher, directors of university research and policy centers, and one Nobel-level geologist at Yale who video-taped his sessions raping a child he was supposed to be mentoring.

Hanrahan should know about crimes against children.

A professor at the School of International Service at American University, she claims her own daughter was molested by her husband, although a court later found the charges unsubstantiated and ordered her to pay damages.

In the ensuing court battle, she found to her horror that the US court system didn’t make it easy to get redress in such cases.

In fact, there seems to be a net-workers of gate-keepers whose interest lies in protecting the perpetrators.

Dr. Handrahan lost her own case and was fired from two jobs, so some people believe that her accusations about her own child are malicious and unwarranted.

But, after reading her research and her background and after looking at opposing counsel in her case, I am inclined to believe that she is the target of a campaign of vilification intended to destroy her for blowing the whistle on child pornography in American universities and federal institutions.

 

 

Satan’s Seat at Pergamum: The Imperial Cult

Alan Bandy, a New Testament scholar and specialist in the Apocalypse interprets the famous passage in the Book of Revelation, in which Jesus addresses the church of Pergamum:

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.”

Revelation 2:1

Bandy describes the most popular interpretations of the term, “Satan’s seat”:

1. The temple of Zeus and Athena at Pergamum, current Bergama in Turkey.

2. The Pergamene Asklepieion, an ancient hospital dedicated to Asklepios, the god of healing.

3. Pergamum as an important seat of Roman power in the province of Asia.

4.  Pergamum as a prominent site of the imperial cult, the worship of the Roman emperor. instituted after Augustus Caesar.

Citing Steven Friesen on whom he relies for many of his arguments,Bandy opts for the last item – the Roman  imperial cult – as the object of Jesus’ denunciation.

I find his choice persuasive and the reasons he gives are important, especially as, all over the Internet,  Christian websites point to the  altar of Zeus as the “seat of Satan.”

Juri Lina, whose book “Under the Sign of the Scorpion” describes the masonic, occult, and Kabbalist aspects of the Russian Revolution, also refers to the Zeus  altar in those terms.

The popularity of the interpretation probably derives from the fact that the Zeus altar, which was transferred to a Berlin museum in the 19th century, was the inspiration of Hitler’s architect, Albert Speer:

Eventually, the altar caught the eye of a young man named Albert Speer, the new chief architect for the Nazi Party. Germany’s new chancellor, Adolf Hitler, had commissioned him to design the parade grounds for the party rallies in Nuremberg.

For inspiration, Speer turned to the Pergamon Altar. [sic]

“If you read the German written by Speer, he gives all the credit to Hitler,” says Dr. Anthony R. Santoro, the Distinguished Professor of History & President Emeritus of Christopher Newport University. “I think he’s like a good interior decorator that someone hires, and that client already has the ideas of what he wants to do, and the decorator agrees with him. So that’s what Speer did.”

Using the altar as his model, Speer created a colossal grandstand at the rally grounds in Nuremberg. It became known as the Zeppelintribüne. After the war, only a small part of it was left standing.

“If you look at the kinds of ceremonies that were on display at Zeppelin field with the reconstructed temple there patterned on the Pergamum Altar, you’ll see photographs of Hitler, descending down the steps, like a tribune of the people from old Roman times,” says Santoro.”

Although Bandy arrives at his conclusion by a process of elimination, I think there are other reasons to regard the apotheosis of the emperor as the target of Jesus’ address to the Pergamum church.

Within the frame-work of Biblical prophecy, Satan’s end-time appearance on earth is invoked not directly, but through types: thus, the hunter-ruler Nimrod is a type of Satan; so are the King of Tyre and the Pharaoh of Egypt; so also the rulers of Persia and Babylon.  So too Antiochus IV Epiphanes, whose profanation of the Jewish Temple was predicted by the prophet Daniel.

Notice that these rulers were not merely rulers, but rulers who aspired to divinity; rulers whose kingdoms dominated the known world in their time.

Each of these types of Satan is addressed in prophetic passages that start out by describing contemporary events and then enlarge into prophesies about the end-times.

It seems hermeneutically correct that if Satan in the Old Testament is embodied in kings who aspire to displace God,  then Satan in Revelation must also refer to a king who seeks to displace God.

The worship of Zeus and Asklepios, gods themselves,  cannot be the main reason Jesus called Pergamum Satan’s seat.

Nor can the Dionysian cultic orgies in the region be the reason.

However vile, they did not demand the unquestioning submission of Christians. It was only the cult of the emperor that demanded that.

The desire to  aspire to the throne of God is in the Bible the quintessential characteristic of Satan:

12   How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13   For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14   I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15   Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

Isaiah 14, 13-15

The site of the imperial cult in Pergamum was the temple of the Roman emperor Trajan, which was completed by his successor, the emperor Hadrian.

Hadrian is the emperor who put an end to the Jewish revolt under Bar-Kokhba around 132-135 AD.

The the rebels were completely defeated;  the Jewish people were deported and exiled and their religion proscribed;  the name of Judea was changed to Syria-Palestine.

The imperial cult was thus specially dreadful for the Jews.

Moreover, the worship of the emperor was conjoined with the worship of Zeus (Jupiter), giving even more potency to the term “Satan’s seat.”

This is  nowhere so clear as in the martyrdom of the elderly Bishop of Pergamum, Antipas, to whose death (in 92 AD) Jesus refers in the same passage in Revelation.

Why was Antipas martyred?

Apparently his faith and his ability to heal people from demons attracted the rivalry of the priests of Asklepios.  They complained to the Roman authorities and Antipas was asked to sacrifice to the emperor and to call him god.

When the devout bishop refused, he was taken to the temple of Zeus and put inside a hollow bronze bull at the top of the 40 foot altar. 

The bull was the vessel in which human sacrifices were performed.

(Human sacrifices were officially outlawed by the Romans in 97 BC, but continued infrequently into the4th century AD).

The bull was then heated with flames until Antipas was roasted to death inside the burning metal, his cries animating the bull and making it come alive to spectators.

 

 

Coming out of Babylon

This year, as I studied the powerful evidence for the accuracy of the Gospel account and the overwhelming evidence of propaganda against it, I asked myself why in every age were the same powerful people working so hard to destroy the credibility of the Gospel story?

Why?

And if the Gospel wasn’t credible, why hadn’t it simply collapsed from the weight of its own fabrications?

Suppose it were literally true to the last word?

What then?

Would that explain who or what could be behind the conspiracy against it?

And why?

It was then that I saw very clearly the reason why the Bible forbids the study of such things as astrology, even while acknowledging their potency.

It is not that astrology is superstition and nonsense, as materialists believe, although there is plenty of that also.

No. Astrology has truth enough in it.

But enough truth is not all the truth.

And even though a Christianized mind, such as mine, might look at a horoscope (or the tarot or other systems of divination) divorced from the religious practices in which any of them is embedded;  or might even re-embed them in Christianity; even though one might study them simply for the knowledge they embody; historically, astrology involved worship of the planets.

It still does, whether one knows it or not.

However, innocuous these studies seem to be, a student of occult techniques is opening the door to spiritual Babylon.

This year, I shut the door.

That is all I will say about it.

The United States Of Spying

Bush administration and the architect of the government’s massive suspicionless spying program, was recently publicly challenged to deny that the feds have the ability to turn on your computer, cellphone or mobile device in your home and elsewhere, and use your own devices to spy on you, why did he remain silent? The audience at the venue where he was challenged rationally concluded that his silence was his consent.”

When I read this, I’m convinced that my experience in the past few years of having my private conversations surface in a wide-range of web-sites was not imagination or paranoia at all.

I am more than ever certain that the right explanation is spying by someone with access to government technology who was either a lawless private contractor or the witless employee of one of those urban DHS (Dept of Homeland Security) fusion centers that have become notorious for spying on anti-government dissidents.

Witless, because even the most brain-dead flunky of the government should know that venting your political opinion on a blog, sans any act of armed insurrection, espionage, or other illegal activity, is constitutionally-protected, indeed highly valuable, speech and that the government is not permitted in any way, shape, or form, to go on fishing expeditions in people’s private lives (remember those things?) to either back into charges, in the case of people who are engaged in wrong-doing, or to twist arms, in the case of people who are not  doing anything wrong and can only be coerced by the government’s own illegal actions or threats thereo.

 

Former Canadian Dep. Minister Convicted Of Child Pornography

Since I posted this piece, I’ve had time to look at the way in which Levin was charged and find that it’s really not clear what happened.

Beyond the possession of child pornography on his computer – and that’s quite easily downloaded by someone else –  is there hard evidence that he committed any of the crimes about which he, admittedly, fantasized.

Did he actually counsel a real mother with a real daughter to rape her child…. or did he respond to an FBI officer engaged in entrapment, which response, devoid of actual criminal action, is something of a manufactured thought-crime, however repugnant those thoughts might be?

From Lifesite News comes a report that the high-level Canadian bureaucrat behind a controversial child sex-ed program, has been convicted in court of being a child pornographer.  (For the American equivalent of the program, see here).

Ben Levin claims to have molested his own daughters and was recorded counseling mothers to molest their own children and prepare them for him to molest them.

For those who think that theories about a  global network  of pedophilic criminals in government are mere conspiracy theory, this will be an eye-opener about how and to what end our rulers are subverting instincts and cultural practices that have protected civilization for millenia:

“Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s former deputy minister of education, Benjamin Levin, was convicted March 3 in a Toronto courtroom to three charges involving child pornography: making written child pornography, counseling a person to commit a sexual assault, and possession of child pornography.

After Justice Heather Adair McArthur of the Ontario Court of Justice accepted Levin’s guilty plea to the three charges, crown counsel Allison Dellandrea said neither the crown nor Levin’s lawyer, Clayton Ruby, disputed the “agreed statement of fact.”

Among the more lurid details contained in the statement are the admission that Levin, in internet chats, claimed he had sexually abused his own daughters, hoped his daughters would make his grandchildren available to him for sex, and counseled an undercover officer on how to groom a child for sexual abuse. The statement acknowledges that there is no evidence Levin actually abused his children and he has not been charged for that offense.

Levin, in a light grey suit, sat slightly slumped in a chair to the left of lawyer Gerald Chan, often resting his head on his right hand and only once glancing behind at the 40 or so spectators filling the 1000 Finch Avenue courtroom.

These were news media, parents, grandparents, and the odd blogger, some of whom palpably recoiled as Dellandrea read out the statement of facts describing the events leading to the 63-year-old’s arrest on July 8, 2013.

At that time, Toronto police seized three laptops, 11 thumb drives, an XD Olympus memory card, a Samsung cell phone, and an external hard drive from Levin’s home.

They discovered 79 files of child pornography on two of the laptops and the external hard drive, but only 15 images and two videos were accessible to Levin. The rest of the child pornography was found in “computer system-generated folders” created without Levin’s knowledge while he used the Yahoo! Messenger program.

Levin had also created a Word document titled “aaa3” which compiled details of the approximately 1,750 people he had chatted with online “on the subject of subversive sexually interests, primarily those related to sexual contact between parents and children.”

Levin frequented a website, designated as “M” (as it is under ongoing police investigation) that described itself as an “alternative sexual lifestyle social networking site” with chat rooms on “incest” and “teens.”  Levin created his profile on M in 2010, describing his gender as “couple,” and his sexuality as “nothing is taboo.”  His profile, under the username BandB, had been visited 5,103 times, had 29 subscribers and was marked as a favorite by 44 users, according to the statement.

On August 7, 2012, Levin started an online chat with Toronto undercover police officer Janelle Blackadar, who posed as a “sexually submissive, young, single mother with a subversive interest in the sexualization of her children,” the statement reads.

Levin told Blackadar that “he sexually abused his own daughters and other children when they were as young as 12 years old, and encouraged D.C. Blackadar to do the same.” There is no evidence that Levin actually did so, nor has he been charged with this offence, the statement points out.”

They didn’t mock Judaism, for instance.

That omission makes Charlie Hebdo in effect a mouth-piece of Zionist sensibilities.

Notice also that Arabs and blacks were the main objects of the magazine’s animus,  suggesting that its so-called satire was no more than a vehicle through which it  propagated Anglo-Jewish racial supremacism.

Meanwhile,  when it came to ridiculing the  religion or beliefs of the ruling class, the COWARDS at Charlie Hebdo failed miserably. 

They published no pornographic pictures of Maimonides or Moses, no edgy jokes about the Holocaust, no genitalia of Anne Frank, no raunchy pedophile gags about Rabbis.

Aadhaar run by “private shop” accountable to no-one

The New Indian Express points out that the Indian biometric ID is essentially being collated and bared for snooping by foreign governments and private corporations, with no accountability to Indian citizens.

The material collected can be used to track, monitor, and control citizens.

It can subject them to unlawful governmental surveillance, as well as to criminal attacks.

The material can also be used to silence dissidents, frame patsies and scape-goats, and terrorize the population at large:

In 2012, the IB warned the state about loopholes in Aadhaar, but the government continued with the enrolment process, sidestepping security concerns.

The NSA top secret documents leaked last week point to the covert operation. “Identity Intelligence is exploiting pieces of information that are unique to an individual to track, exploit and identify targets… ,” the papers stated.

Three types of data is being mined by the NSA which includes “biometric, biographic and contextual.” Biometric data shows an individual’s physical or behavioural traits like face, iris, fingerprints, voice etc. Biographic data gives details of life history, including address, school, and profession while contextual data is about individual’s travel history and financial bank details.

Although, the US government had earlier scrapped Aadhaar-like project for its residents, it surprisingly mounted covert ops to infiltrate biometric database in other countries. The decision of the US to not allow biometric profiling of residents was followed by China, Australia and UK and similar proposals were shot down by the respective governments.

The intelligence agencies raised the contentious provision in the contract agreement that allows foreign vendors to keep the biometric data for next 7 years making it easy prey for NSA. “The contract agreement signed by UIDAI with foreign vendors is absurd. Private companies can easily share it with US spy agency. We have seen how they arm twist private players to gain foothold in their server,” a top intelligence official said, adding the UIDAI also had arrangements with certain private software firms for technology assistance. “

A Traditionalist On Rabbinical Persecution Of Christians

A passionate, politically incorrect refutation of the current pieties about the supposed inveterate anti-Semitism of the traditional Catholic church, at Fish-eaters.com.

It lists the extensive persecution of Christians over the centuries at the hands of Rabbinical Jews, starting with their judicial murder of Jesus,  using the Roman state as a proxy:

I know that it’s politically correct to bash the Romans on this account, but the Romans had no issue with Jesus and “only” acted as instruments to carry out the Jews’ wishes (which is culpability and cowardice enough, to be sure). The Jews, however, did want Christ dead, and used Roman power to make it happen. The Russians didn’t want it, the Poles didn’t want it, the Ugandans didn’t want it, Pilate washed his hands of the matter: the Jews wanted it.

John 11:45-53 (KJV), after the raising of Lazarus: Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

Note, though, please, how many Jews here came to know the Messiah, Who Himself was genetically (partly) Semitic and Who fulfilled the Old Testament promises. The point, which I reiterate here, is that “race” and “ethnicity” are not the issue; the issue is a matter of idealogy, faith, belief, and acts of the will. Peter, Paul, Matthew, etc. — most of the Apostles — were Semitic followers of the Old Testament religion who came to know that the Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled in Jesus Christ and who gave up their lives defending that belief.

In addition, while it is obvious historical fact that, proximately, it was Palestinian Jews who used Roman power to kill the Messiah, it is also true — and has been taught as true since the Church’s beginning — that we are all responsible. The Catechism of the Council of Trent, issued by Pope St. Pius V (A.D. 1566-1572), taught:

Furthermore men of all ranks and conditions were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. Gentiles and Jews were the advisers, the authors, the ministers of His Passion: Judas betrayed Him, Peter denied Him, all the rest deserted Him.

and

In this guilt are involved all those who fall frequently into sin; for, as our sins consigned Christ the Lord to the death of the cross, most certainly those who wallow in sin and iniquity crucify to themselves again the Son of God, as far as in them lies, and make a mockery of Him. This guilt seems more enormous in us than in the Jews, since according to the testimony of the same Apostle: If they had known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory; while we, on the contrary, professing to know Him, yet denying Him by our actions, seem in some sort to lay violent hands on him.

In other words, Palestinian Jews were historically, proximately responsible for Christ’s Passion and death, just as were those Romans who allowed themselves to be cowed by them, but culpability for His death lies in us all — the more so with Christians who know Him and believe Him, but still offend Him. While the post-Temple Jewish religion can be described as a “Deicide religion” in that it glories in Deicide when exulting in the murder of Jesus, “the Jews” cannot be decribed as “Christ-killers” in any literal sense. This isn’t some new Vatican II teaching that changed the “anti-semitic traditional teaching of the Church” as anti-Catholics want you to believe so they can shame the Church into submission; it is what the Church has always taught, and the only reasons I even bring it up are our inability nowadays to speak of historical fact as revealed by the Gospels, the willingness of too many people to blame everyone — anyone — but “the Jews” (why it’s OK to diss “the Romans” but not “the Jews” is beyond me as a daughter of Rome), and the stupid, nerve-wracking idea that the Church “used to be anti-semitic,” but now, “since Vatican II,” the Church has changed Her teachings.

That last is only the world’s way of dismissing traditional — i.e, true — Catholic teaching altogether and of making the Church seem wishy-washy, anything but divine, and, above all, malleable (“You’ve ‘changed’ your teachings on the Jews, why not change your attitudes toward sex and priestly celibacy and the ‘ordination’ of women?”) It’s a way of shaming the Church’s History and stealing Her rich heritage from those who love Her. And it’s also a way of propping up “the spirit of Vatican II,” the most destructive force that has ever afflicted Holy Mother Church and which has rendered the institutional Church impotent and sterile, and has almost destroyed the Roman Rite. All one has to do to see the “disconnect” between the what the “the spirit” of this Council really did and how the Modernists want you to perceive it is to study the horrific effects of the interpreations of Vatican II — and then read how Jews, neo-Catholics, and the media speak of the “great Council” while they dismiss the “pre-Vatican II Church” as barbarous and unenlightened.

At any rate, it’s rather paradoxical, this clamor on the part of Jews to absolve “the Jews” of Deicide (note the hysteria in response to Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”), especially when in their “holy” books and by the pens of their “sages,” they openly and proudly state that Jews did kill Jesus. Note what Maimonides, who is considered by Jews to be “The Second Moses,” wrote in his “Letter to Yemen”:

[Jesus of Nazareth] impelled people to believe that he was a prophet sent by God to clarify perplexities in the Torah, and that he was the Messiah that was predicted by each and every seer. He interpreted the Torah and its precepts in such a fashion as to lead to their total annulment, to the abolition of all its commandments and to the violation of its prohibitions. The sages, of blessed memory, having become aware of his plans before his reputation spread among our people, meted out fitting punishment to him.

The Jewish historian Josephus confirms the Gospel account in his “Antiquities”:

Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day [my emphasis].

Interestingly, an article appeared on the website of the American Jewish Committee that affirmed what is being said here about what Jewish writings themselves say about the death of Jesus. That article disappeared from the site within days (oops! how’d this get published?), but you may read the article here on-site.

To continue with the topic: the errors of the Pharisaic rabbis, their legalistic, “anti-goy” elitism, grew even greater after the Temple fell and the only priests left were New Covenant priests. Their desires for a restored Jerusalem and a worldly Messiah-King were not shared by the Christians, ethnically Hebrew or not, whose Messiah told them to “render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s”; this Christian anti-Zionism only fueled the Pharisees’ hatred for the Christians.

Around A.D. 100, the Pharisees started a school at Jamnia (often referred to as the “Council of Jamnia” or “Jabneh”) to solidify the Pharisees’ power. They threw out the Septuagint version of the Old Testament, used by the Palestinian Jews for hundreds of years and cherished by the Apostles, because this version, which contains the Deuterocanonical Books (referred to as the “Apocrypha” by Protestants), was used by the Christians to proselytize Jews due to its more specific language used to convey the Messianic prophecies. From this “Council of Jamnia,” too, came the Birkat ha-Minim — a part of the Amida prayer which consists of a curse against Christians asking God to destroy us. This Amida prayer with its curse against Christians has been prayed by religious Jews three times a day for almost two millennia. Rounding out this racism, in A.D. 125, one of the most respected rabbis (he is quoted over 700 times in the Talmud), Rabbi Simeon Ben Johai, formally declared that non-Jews are not even human.

Jewish pogroms against Christians took place not only in Palestine (note the famous Bar Kochba Rebellion of A.D. 135), in Caesarea, Scytpolis, Yemen, Antioch — a town through which Jews dragged the body of Patriarch Anastasius in A.D. 608, after they threw his genitals in his face and disembowelled him — and any other place they could get away with it.

When reading the typical history book talking about the “repressiveness” of the Church, or hearing a typical dispensationalist Protestant sermon reviling the great Saints like John Chrysostom who spoke against the errors of Pharisaic Judaism (just as Jesus did!), you won’t hear a word about the above — or how Jews agitated anti-Christian animosity among Kings and Emperors, resulting in the slaughter of true Israel (the Church). You won’t read this, from Sozomen’s (c. A.D. 375-c. 447) “Ecclesiastical History,” Book II, Chapter IX:

When, in course of time, the Christians increased in number, and began to form churches, and appointed priests and deacons, the Magi, who as a priestly tribe had from the beginning in successive generations acted as the guardians of the Persian religion, became deeply incensed against them. The Jews, who through envy are in some way naturally opposed to the Christian religion, were likewise offended. They therefore brought accusations before Sapor [King of Persia], the reigning sovereign, against Symeon, who was then archbishop of Seleucia and Ctesiphon, royal cities of Persia, and charged him with being a friend of the Caesar of the Romans, and with communicating the affairs of the Persians to him. Sapor believed these accusations, and at first, ground the Christians with excessive taxes, although he knew that the generality of them had voluntarily embraced poverty. He entrusted the exaction to cruel men, hoping that, by the want of necessaries, and the atrocity of the ex-actors, they might be compelled to abjure their religion; for this was his aim. Afterwards, however, be commanded that the priests and conductors of the worship of God should be slain with the sword. The churches were demolished, their vessels were deposited in the treasury, and Symeon was arrested as a traitor to the kingdom and the religion of the Persians. Thus the Magi, with the co-operation of the Jews, quickly destroyed the houses of prayer.

You won’t hear how Jews allied themselves with the Christian-born but later professing pagan Julian the Apostate, Emperor of Rome between A.D. 361 and 363 and fourth successor of Constantine, who oppressed Christians even as he tried to help Jews rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, a project that ended when mysterious balls of fires emanated from the ground (and sky, depending on the account) at the site, burning the workers to death, and an earthquake struck. You won’t hear how the Jews allied themselves with the Persians in attacking Palestine in A.D. 614 — and how they reveled in slaughtering the Christians there and razing their churches, including the one built over Christ’s Tomb. According to Monk Strategius of Mar Saba (Antiochus Strategos), Jews purchased Christian slaves from the Persians for the sole purpose of slaughtering them “just as one might buy cattle to slaughter.” 3

You won’t hear how Jews rose to high levels in medieval Spanish society by falsely claiming to have converted to the Holy Faith, how many became priests, rose to prominence in the Church, and then proceeded to Judaize that country’s Catholics. You won’t hear how these false converts also cooperated with Muslims to overtake that country during the Muslim aggressions (oh, so that’s why that nasty Catholic Queen Isabella kicked them out in 1492!)

You won’t hear that on Yom Kippur, Jews pray the Kol Nidre, a prayer that releases them, in advance, of all vows they will make in the upcoming year, a prayer which allowed them to engage in fraudulent business practices while still remaining loyal to Judaism.

And you most certainly won’t hear about usury — the other true source of “anti-semitism” in Christian lands.”

 

 

Prof. Boyle Recycles Term Paper, Gets “F”

He has recycled them from his charges against Israel in 2008:

“An Israeli war-crimes tribunal may be the only deterrent to a global war,” Francis Boyle, Globalresearch.ca, December 31, 2008.

Furthermore, in  both pieces, Boyle cites U.N. Charter Article 22 as authorizing the creation of an International Criminal Tribunal as a subsidiary organ to which Sri Lanka (and, previously, Israel) would be brought.

But is this even possible under the terms of the charter?

Here is Article 22 from the UN Charter:

The General Assembly may establish such subsidiary organs as it deems necessary for the performance of its functions.”

The language is vague, but is there any warrant here or elsewhere to read this article  so broadly so as to bestow powers on the General Assembly to create an international criminal tribunal?

Especially, when elsewhere the powers of the General Assembly are severely circumscribed?

At JustSecurity.org, Professor Derek Jinks, Marrs McLean Professor of Law at the highly regarded University of Texas law school, blows this notion out of the water.

Citing learned literature on the subject and previous  advisory opinions of the International  Court of Justice itself (which is under the authority of the Security Council, not the General Assembly of the UN), he writes:

 Indeed, the more common reading of Article 22 is that it accords the GA the authority to establish only subsidiary organs enjoying the same powers as the GA itself (for good sources, see Simma, et al., The Charter of the United Nations: A Commentary 427-28 (2nd ed. 2002); Goodrich, et al., Charter of the United Nations 191 (3rd ed. 1969)). In other words, the GA cannot via a subsidiary organ wield any powers it does not otherwise enjoy under the Charter. Article 22, on this view, is not an end run around the enumerated powers of the GA.

An early advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice confirms this view. In assessing the legality of the GA-established United Nations Administrative Tribunal (UNAT)—a tribunal for resolving disputes between U.N. staff and the United Nations—the ICJ found that Article 22 alone does not empower the GA to establish a judicial body because the GA enjoys no judicial authority under the Charter.”

Since Wikipedia gives Dr. Boyle’s resume thus:

A professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law.[1] Boyle received a A.B. (1971) in Political Science from the University of Chicago, then a J.D. degree magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and A.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science from Harvard University. He also practiced tax and international tax with Bingham, Dana & Gould,”

I think it would be safe to say that the activist professor is not incompetent but extraordinarily competent.

That being the case, it would also be safe to infer that  “propaganda” or “chicanery” remains the only cogent explanation for Dr. Boyle’s misleading public statements.

I have excerpted the texts of Dr. Boyle’s two articles (on Israel in 2008 and on Lanka in 2013) to show how much of the latter is simply regurgitated.
