USG Monitors Poop, Feeds Citizens Cocaine

Here’s the scoop on the fate of  poop in the Electronic Gulag from the American Chemical Society:

The war on drugs could get a boost with a new method that analyzes sewage to track levels of illicit drug use in local communities in real time. The new study, a first-of-its-kind in the U.S., was published in the ACS journal Environmental Science & Technology and could help law enforcement identify new drug hot spots and monitor whether anti-drug measures are working.

Kurunthachalam Kannan and Bikram Subedi note that to date, most methods to estimate drug use in the U.S. are based on surveys, crime statistics and drug seizures by law enforcement. But much illegal drug use happens off the radar. To better approximate usage, scientists have been turning to wastewater. Like a lot of other compounds from pharmaceuticals and personal care products to pesticides, illegal drugs and their metabolic byproducts also persist in sewage. In Europe, a number of studies have been done to see how well wastewater treatment plants are removing illicit drugs from sludge before treated water is released into the environment. But until now, no study in the U.S. had looked at this, likely leading to underestimates of abuse. Kannan and Subedi wanted to form a more complete picture of drug use, so they studied levels of illicit drugs at two wastewater treatment plants in Albany, New York.”

Notice that the scientists in this program are of Indian origin.  I wonder why these two didn’t put their expertise in sewage to better use by figuring out inexpensive ways to treat sewage which is a major need in India, as it is in the US.

As Mike Adams points out, it will only be a matter of time before toilets are microchipped to analyze your excreta in real time.

As he notes, if cocaine is finding its way into sewage and via the treatment procedure back into our drinking water, traces of it must be in the blood of all citizens, making the government guilty of forcing a class-A felony on its citizens.

Anyone drinking tap water is, therefore, consuming class-A felony controlled substances which can then be detected in their bodies in parts per billion concentrations. This is how the police state can arrest and imprison absolutely anyone by claiming they’re a drug user since there’s cocaine in their blood and it’s all over their twenty dollar bills, too!

There probably isn’t a single person living in America today who doesn’t have traces of cocaine on their person or in their blood. Notably, federal laws on cocaine possession make no exceptions for “inadvertent possession” or possession of trace amounts. Even one molecule of cocaine qualifies you to be charged with felony possession.

If you had any doubts that Western societies have collapsed morally under the manipulation of feminist harridans elevated beyond their pay-grade by the Sanhedrin’s mandarins, put them away.

A legal 9-11 has devastated British men, emasculating whatever little of their manhood the gynocracy hasn’t already stripped from them.

A recent bill allows husband in England to  be jailed for fourteen years for the very loosely defined crime of “coercive control” of his wife.

Apparently, this can include such things as calling her fat, criticizing her clothes, refusing to let her spend as much as she wants, or demanding to know where she is going.

There is no mention in the bill of female abuse of men. Women never bleed men financially, abuse their families of origin, cheat on them, throw tantrums, extort them, lie, hit, or murder.

It is all one way.

Moreover, for purposes of punishment, there is no statutory limit to how far back the wife can go to produce evidence in support of her claims.

Th UK bill also does not give any weight to provocative behavior by the wife.

What if you were working day and night, taking years off from your own life,  while your well-educated wife spent her time abed or on the sofa, consuming donuts steadily.

Would a few tart suggestions to knock of the sloth and greed amount to “abuse” meriting punishment twice as harsh as what is usually meted out (when it is) in the West to bank-robber, murderers, and serial rapists?

What if this harridan also objected to your spending time with your friends and family, tried to grab not only “her half” of marital assets, but yours as well?

What if she parked her relatives in your home and expected you to pay for it all, while she kept busy gossiping, isolating you, maligning your family, and spending your assets?

Would a bleat from you now and then count for abuse while her real financial and emotional terrorism against you count as “love and support”?

We can only guess.

Fortunately, the Indian Supreme Court moved away from this insanity recently when it asserted that a woman who prevents her in-laws from entering her home is guilty of cruelty and mental abuse sufficient to be grounds for divorce.

 

Ambassadors For Christ: Mtegemee Yesu

I just discovered Rwanda’s magnificent gospel choir, “Ambassadors for Christ.”

The song is Mtegemee Yesu.

Even in tough times, it says, trust in Jesus.

The subtitles are in English, but even without the translation from Swahili, the meaning comes through.

Rwanda is around 90% Christian, one of the many predominantly Christian African countries that make the continent a new bastion of Christianity, supplanting Europe.

Political Zionism Is Esau

ISIS IS ESAU?

Recently, famed Johns Hopkins neuro-surgeon Dr. Ben Carson has come out with the risible statement that the rationale for Isis is to be found in Genesis, in the tale of Esau and Jacob.

Indeed it is, only not in the way Dr. Carson intends it.

Anyone who has studied the matter with any integrity will immediately identify Esau in today’s world, because no less than the Jewish Encyclopedia has made the identification explicitly.

EDOM IS IN JEWRY

It admits that Esau (under the name of Edom, which means Red) is in Jewry.

That is to say, by the time of Jesus, the descendants of Esau were living as Judeans and Judahites, even though they were neither Jews nor Israelites by birth.

JEWS VERSUS JUDEANS VERSUS JUDAHITES

The word Jew when used to refer to a single ethno-religious community is a coinage from the nineteenth century.

There were no Jews, as we know them, before that time.

When the word Jew is inserted into the Bible, it is an anachronism.

At the time of Jesus, there were only Judahites (those who belonged to the tribes of Judah, one of the twelve tribes descended from Jacob’s twelve sons) and Judeans, people who lived in the kingdom of Judea.

Judea was the southern Israelite kingdom, which had split from its northern half and had gone into and captivity and returned, like its northern sister.

The word Judean does not identify a race any more than the word New Yorker identifies a race.

A New Yorker may be Chinese or African or Italian in ethnic origin. He gets his name from where he lives, not from his racial identity.

So also, the term Judean included people of all kinds of racial make-up, including many who had nothing to do with the original Israelites or Judahites and who were often sworn enemies of them.

ESAU’S HEIRS – THE IDUMEANS (EDOMITES)

One such enemy was Idumea, which is the Greek rendering of the word Edom.

Edom/Idumea is the region where the descendants of Esau lived and dominated  – a strong-hold in the mountains that includes the great city of Petra in Jordan.

As a nation, the Idumeans of Biblical times were the vicious and unrepentant enemies of the sons of Jacob, sacking, looting and attacking them at every turn.

ESAU VERSUS JACOB

God had given foreknowledge of this generational enmity to Rebecca, when Esau and Jacob were still twins in her womb.

He had let her know that the two would engender nations that would struggle with each other and that her second-born would eventually rule over her first-born.

This was prophetic knowledge, however, not predetermination, as Calvinists teach. God in no way forced Esau to play this unfortunate role.

EDOM  – THE RED HUNTER

From birth, Esau was marked for his carnal role.

He was covered with hair all over and reddish (Edom).

He was a hunter, fond of venison, fleshly in appetite, and careless of family tradition and piety.

From the New Testament, we learn that he was also sexually immoral and idolatrous.

From the Book of Jasher, an apocryphal text quoted by Jewish authorities, we learn that Esau was so great a hunter that he killed King Nimrod of Babylon and seized from him the garments that God wove for Adam and Eve when they found themselves naked.

These magical vestments had been passed down from the first family, through Seth, to Noah, to Ham, Cush and then to Nimrod and they bestowed the power of conquest on their possessor.

ESAU, NIMROD, AND ANTI-CHRIST

In Genesis, Nimrod is the legendary warrior-king of Babylon who seeks to challenge the heavens with his mighty tower of Babel.

He is a type of anti-Christ and thus of Satan.

[I will explain in another post why I think the equation with Esau and Satan/Serpent is misleading and dangerous and is one often made by people who have a racist agenda – either against Gentiles (if they are Jews) or against Jews/non-whites (if they are Aryan supremacist) or against whites (if they are black supremacists).

Each of the groups I’ve mentioned likes to equate Esau with whichever group they want to claim is genetically Satanic.

But Esau is not descended from Satan (however he is conceived and with whatever validity).

All of mankind today is descended from Noah, who was considered perfect by God, drunkenness and all.

Esau is  DELUDED by Satan, which is quite a different thing.]

Thus, by association and by the possession of the magic garments, Esau becomes an anti-Christ type (repeat, TYPE) as well.

[Note: The notion that there is a single “anti-Christ” who will oppose God at the end is not even in the Bible, which mentions the anti-Christ spirit, and also, Satan, a red dragon, a beast (two, actually) and a whore (of Babylon), but really doesn’t posit a figure called Anti-Christ, in the modern sense.]

HITTITES, CANAANITES, AND ISHMAELITES

According to the Book of Jasher – which, keep in mind, is apocryphal and part of Rabbinical lore and not canonic – it is after the slaying of Nimrod that Esau sells his birthright for the red pottage (lentils), because, believing absolute power to be in his grasp, he has no use for the mere birth-right.

Not knowing (or caring) that the birth-right includes the honor of siring the Messiah, he chooses instead worldly power and his belly, proving himself unworthy, as God had predicted to Rebecca.

Genesis tells us that Esau disobeyed God’s covenant with his forefathers and intermarried with Hittite women. [The Hittites were the descendants of Heth.]

Esau also intermarried  with the family of Ishmael and with the Canaanites, who practiced such vile customs as child sacrifice and ritual prostitution.

Genesis mentions how much sorrow Esau’s disobedience and his foreign wives caused Isaac and Rebecca. They did not want all they had striven for to be dissipated and lost in the houses of inimical in-laws.

This is no doubt the reason the anxious mother used such wiles to deprive her unworthy first-born of the primogeniture.

JACOB TO ISRA-EL

Jacob, her second-born, was no saint, of course.

He allowed his mother to manipulate him into cheating his father and then engaged in trickery himself against her brother, Laban, also a wily man.

But Jacob, who is described as a “mild” man, was true to his father’s traditions and to the Abrahamic covenant.

He didn’t practice idolatry or intermarry with the vicious Canaanites. So God was able to shape him to his destiny and eventually make him Isra-el – a prince (Isra) of God (El), or by virtue of God.

JACOB AND TRUE ISRAEL

The story of Jacob and Esau is used by St Paul to reprimand Jews who did not want to admit Gentiles into the company of believers in Jesus.

Jacob, he said, was a type of the Gentile believer. Esau was a type of the Jewish unbeliever.

Just as the Jews had the law and racial descent on their side, Esau had the law of primogeniture on his. Yet, Esau was indifferent to his privilege, just as unbelieving Jews were indifferent to the privilege of birthing the Messiah.

Thus, God had given salvation to the “second-born” – the Gentiles, as he had given the birth-right to the second-born, Jacob.

THE CONVERSION OF THE IDUMEANS

But, in a more literal way too, Esau is in Jewry.

By the first and second century before Christ, the Edomites/Idumeans had been forcibly converted to Judaism from their Canaanitish ways.

Many had been circumcised and were indistinguishable from Jews by external appearance.

However,  they were not true Israel, either by tribal descent, nor in their hybrid customs.

They worshiped “they know not what,” as Jesus put it, preferring their own customs and “traditions of men” over the true teachings of Torah.

Many of the Pharisees and Sadducees who attacked Jesus were not Jews by birth, as he himself noted.

JESUS: LEVITE AND JUDAHITE

Remarkably, Jesus was not a Judahite either.

[I have corrected this statement below]

Jesus was a Levite (a descendant of Jacob’s son Levi) on his mother’s side  (since Mary was the cousin of Elizabeth, wife of Zacharaiah, the Levitical priest).

And he was grafted onto the house of Judah (the most famous of Jacob’s twelve sons) on his father’s side.

Thus, he was an Israelite by descent on both accounts.

[Added: Researching this a bit more, I find that the two genealogies – in Mark and in Luke – are taken to be genealogies of Mary, not Joseph, even though Joseph’s name is inserted into them.

This is because Joseph was adopted by Mary’s father, Heli, since he had no sons to inherit his property.

This makes Jesus descend from BOTH the Levitical line (the priestly line) and the Judahite (the kingly line).]

On the other hand, was Jesus NOT a Judean. He lived in Galilee, not Judea.

[Added: However, the Gospels note that he was born in Bethlehem of Judea, which is connected to David and the messianic prophecy.]

IMPORTANT CORRECTION (added 10/8/2015): The House of Judah (as opposed to the tribe of Judah) included Judah, Levi, and Benjamin, so that Jesus DOES belong to both the priestly and the ruling line of Israel, through his mother, which is the descent that makes him a Jew legally.]

THE END OF THE OLD COVENANT

Jesus’s unclear parentage and his residence in Nazareth and Galilee were the reasons why many Judeans did not see Jesus as the Jewish messiah.

Ironically, these skeptics were often not Judahites or Israelites themselves.

They were often Samaritans, Idumeans, and Canaanites.

For instance, the Herodians and Zealots were Idumeans with Idumea’s violent, revolutionary spirit.

It was these Edomite-Jewish rebels who, in the century after Jesus’ crucifixion, provoked Rome into crushing the Jews and destroying the Temple of Jerusalem (Herod’s temple) in 70 AD.

With the end of Temple worship, the Old Testament Jewish world was destroyed once and for all.

This was the judgment of the last days (of the Old Covenant) that Jesus predicted so accurately.

PSEUDO-ISRAEL

The descendants of these pseudo-Jewish Edomites are arguably a major (or substantial) part of the modern Talmudic/Rabbinal tradition that is now regarded, erroneously, as the rebirth of Biblical Israel.

This being the case, since the Idumeans do not descend from Jacob, contemporary Ashkenazy Jews at least cannot be direct genetic descendants of ancient Israel.

Of course, genetics is beside the point.

BIBLICAL ISRAEL

Biblical Israel was always a nation of “promise” and “faith,” first and foremost.

In so far as modern Zionists are either Kabbalists/Talmudists who reject Jesus as a blasphemer and reprobate or communists who consider religion a fraud they cannot by definition be true “Israel,” even if they were descended directly from Abraham.

CHILDREN OF THE SERPENT

Jesus made that very point to his enemies when he called them children of the Serpent.

[This term has had its own malign legacy.

Christian Identity and some other groups have taken this to mean that contemporary Jews – a mixed-race of  Euro-Turco-Mongolic people with genetic affinity to the Idumeans – are descended from Satan/the Serpent, which is surely a thoroughly racist and dangerous notion.

But, as I will show in other posts, the imprecations Jesus pronounced on his critics had NOTHING  to do with racial/genetic descent.

They had to do with the absence of faith in the unseen/spiritual kingdom to which he was trying to lead them. 

By accusing them of descent from “their father, the devil,” he was accusing them of moral affinity/moral descent, not a blood-line connection.

It was a moral pronouncement, not a thesis on DNA.

Esau, after all  was a child of Abraham. What did that get him?]

In short, contemporary “Israel” with its blood-line claim is a religious imposter, credible only to people who choose to ignore the very texts from which “Israel” claims authority.

ZIONISM IS ESAU

Zionist Anglo-Israel and the Sanhedrin that has orchestrated her rise to world dominion are Esau incarnate.

They are his spiritual (and likely, genetic) descendants.

They are heirs only in name and not in truth to the religion whose mantle they ostentatiously wear.

Nonetheless, because Isaac did in the end give Esau one blessing, their charade has been allowed its moment in history.

It will collapse soon.

Just as that ancient blessing that Esau cadged was an empty one because its substance had already been taken by the one who knew its worth, Jacob, so also political Zion is an empty spectacle.

The kingdom it seeks today has already met its true ruler…. two thousand years ago.

 

 

Rwandan “Genocide” Or Proxy War Between French & British?

Rwanda’s Colonial Past

The Rwandan genocide occurred in 1994, but rose out of events in the late 80s and early 90s relating directly to Rwanda’s economy. This event was triggered by the assassination of Rwandan President Habyarimana in 1994, who was President during the1990 to 1993 civil war.

Due largely to its colonial past Rwanda’s economy is highly dependent on coffee exports and widespread divisions exist among its people. Most notable is the division fostered between the Hutu and the Tutsis, which began in 1926[9] as part of a Belgian strategy to “fuel inter-ethnic rivalries as a means of achieving political control…”[10] The Belgians favoured the Tutsis over the Hutu.

In 1962 Belgium gave up Rwanda and the Tutsis lost their monopoly of power, giving rise to Hutu control. Many Tutsis were expelled from office.[11] “In 1973 Hutu military leader, Juvénal Habyarimana and a group of his followers, executed a successful coup. Habyarimana and the Hutu elite led Rwanda through almost two decades of economic prosperity.”[11]

Economic Problems and Structural Adjustments

In the late 1980s, economic problems arose for Rwanda’s monoculture coffee economy. This started in 1987, when “the system of quotas established under the International Coffee Agreement (ICA) started to fall apart and world prices plummeted.” Rwanda’s state controlled fund that promoted coffee price stabilization became massively indebted.[12]

Deliberations were undertaken between Habyarimana’s government and the IMF and World Bank. The World Bank sent a group to Rwanda in 1988 to “review Rwanda’s public expenditure program,” and they implemented a Structural Adjustment Program with many conditions.[13]

This coincided with the start of the Rwandan Civil War (1990-1993), which formed as the Hutu aristocracy became divided against each other,”[14] and at the same time, a “guerilla group comprised of a majority of Tutsi refuges trained in Ugandan camps, [the] Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF), invaded Rwanda and attempted to reach the capital Kigali,” which had the result of weakening Habyarimana’s regime and led to the civil war.[15]

The Structural Adjustment Program was implemented in this politically unstable context and required a 50 percent devaluation of the Rwandan franc, carried out in November 1990. This was “barely six weeks after the incursion from Uganda of the rebel army of the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF).” The economic shock exacerbated the civil war and resulted in massive inflation and significant increases in the price of fuel and food.[16]

Societal Collapse

“State enterprises were pushed into bankruptcy and public services collapsed,” including health and education.[17] In 1992, during the height of the civil war, the IMF ordered a second devaluation, which led to further price increases. In a single year coffee production tumbled by another 25 percent. Because so much land was dedicated to coffee there was not enough available to produce food.[18]

Widespread famines followed, which in turn led to the implementation of a World Bank and IMF Structural Adjustment Program requiring the liberalization of trade, economic deregulation, and cheap food imports and aid, which destabilized local markets.[19]

Under the Structural Adjustment Program Rwanda signed onto with the donor institutions, large loans were given to the Rwandan Central Bank for importing commodities. Many of the loans were “diverted by the regime (and its various political factions) towards the acquisition of military hardware (from South Africa, Egypt and Eastern Europe).”[20]

Western Military Backing

The years of the Rwandan Civil War and the genocide itself took place during a time when Madeline Albright was Bill Clinton’s Ambassador to the United Nations and Kofi Annan was the head of the UN’s peacekeeping operations. Investigative journalist Wayne Madsen alleged in his book, Jaded Tasks: Brass Plates, Black Ops, & Big Oil, that Albright and Annan ignored evidence that the US backed Tutsi-led Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) was responsible for the April 6, 1994 terrorist missile attack on the aircraft carrying the Hutu president of Rwanda.[21]

Madsen explains that the initial RPF invasion of Rwanda from Uganda in 1990, “had the military backing of the first Bush administration [1989-1993], including Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney,” and that the aim of the RPF was to overthrow Rwanda’s Hutu president.[22] Madsen exposed how the RPF deputy leader, Paul Kagame was trained at US Army installations in the United States and when, during the 1990 invasion of Rwanda, the RPF’s leader was killed, “Kagame became the head of the guerrilla army, and his ties with the Pentagon, CIA, and State Department became closer.” Classified UN documents revealed that Annan and Albright were aware of this information.[23]

It came out in a French National Assembly inquiry that, “the U.S. even supplied the RPF with the Soviet-made surface-to-air missiles that were used to shoot down the Rwandan presidential aircraft,” and that a UN investigation team got a hold of information that, “a company linked to the CIA leased the warehouse used to assemble the missile launchers.”[24] However, the investigation was closed down once the relationship to the US was realized.

It was in 2004 when a French investigation was completed on the shooting down of the plane, and as Madsen explained, those who were close to the investigation had revealed a disturbing connection to what Madsen describes as a “shadowy organization” composed of powerful political and oil interests, commonly known as the “International Strategic and Tactical Organization.”[25]

Debt Repayment

Less than a year after the 1994 massacres Rwanda’s creditors approached the Tutsi-led RPF government regarding the debts of the former regime that had been used to finance the bloodshed. “The Tutsi-led RPF government, rather than demanding the cancellation of Rwanda’s odious debts, had welcomed the Bretton Woods institutions with open arms,” because, “They needed the IMF ‘greenlight’ to boost development of the military,” which is exactly where the new loans went.[26]

The genocide was successful in its intentions, as the French-supported Hutu Habyarimana government was replaced with a US-supported Tutsi Paul Kagame government, with the aid of US special forces and CIA. The situation should in fact be viewed as, “an undeclared war between France and America.”[27]

The aim was to “install an Anglo-American protectorate in Rwanda,” which, “enabled the US to establish a neocolonial foothold in Central Africa.” This was successfully achieved, as the language of the private and government sectors switched from French to English.[28]

The pro-life advocates behind the four shocking videos exposing Planned Parenthood selling the body parts of aborted babies for research have released a 5th video today that catches a Planned Parenthood official discussing how the abortion business sells “fully intact” aborted babies.

The video, which follows Senate Democrats defeating a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, makes it appear the Planned Parenthood abortion business may be selling the “fully intact” bodies of unborn babies purposefully born alive and left to die.

Planned Parenthood could be breaking the federal law known as the Born Alive Infants Protection Act that requires abortion clinics, hospitals and other places that do abortions to provide appropriate medical care for a baby born alive after a failed abortion or purposefully birthed to “let die.” That would be one of the potential ways Planned Parenthood could produce a “fully intact” baby to sell to StemExpress for research. Most “crunchy” abortion methods would do damage to the baby’s body.

The fifth undercover video in the controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts shows the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch’s track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact aborted babies.”

Lila: Please note that Planned Parenthood sells itself to the public, which supports it with tax dollars, as a “family planning” outfit that counsels pregnant women. In practice, it is an abortion mill.

Filthy India: Public Defecation And Urination

Update: Since writing this, I’ve had a look at the population density figures in the countries with comparable or higher density population numbers than India and it occurs to me that these numbers tell only one part of the story. While the average population density might indeed be comparable, the actual population density in any given public facility in India is much much greater, because of the utter inadequacy of public infrastructure. That is, there are many many more people lining up for buses, at hospitals, or anywhere else where services are provided by private or public vendors, because of the vastness of the population. That means the situation in India is not strictly comparable to anywhere else.

Dirty public urinals, animal waste, holes in the sidewalk, open sewers litter, stench, public defecation.

This is the norm in India.

The cause is not poverty.

Africans are poor, but they are not anywhere as dirty as Indians.

The cause is not crowding.

Tokyo, Amsterdam and many other big cities have high population densities, but are organized and clean. [Correction: However, their population densities are not as high as in India.]

The cause is not solely colonialism or exploitation by the West.

Vietnam, China and many other Asian and African countries have suffered as much under colonization but they are not as filthy.

[Correction: China until recently did suffer from a serious public hygiene problem in many areas.]

The cause   A major cause of India’s public filth is Indian attitudes.

1. Agamic (traditional)Hinduism stresses personal cleanliness and the insides of Indian homes are usually as clean as their owners can afford.

But Hinduism and the thousands of non-traditional and often traditionally proscribed local practices that range from superstition to witchcraft do not say much about civic virtue or public space.

Not In My Backyard is often the default Indian motto.

However, given that the Hindu golden ages produced some of the greatest cities of the world, the problem should not be seen as arising from Hinduism as such, but from the cultural accretions that have deformed its practice in the modern world.

Meanwhile, Muslim neighborhoods, some of the poorest and most congested in India, are also often as dirty.

It is almost always Christian areas or very Westernized ones that are cleaner than their surroundings.

2. Despite the Hindu Reformation of the 19th century, many Hindus still tend to look down on manual labor, and cleaning, especially cleaning human waste.

It is considered the lowest of the low, so no one wants to do it.

Christianity, on the other hand, has a social ethic that values the human being in every walk of life and values the physical body, which it believes will be resurrected.

It values manual work, since Jesus himself worked with his hands.

Out of this correct valuation of the real world and human relations springs the desire to clean and beautify.

In traditional Hinduism, sringara or beautification of the body and its surrounding is also central, but this aspect of the tradition has been lost to large masses of ordinary people, so it is no use invoking it.

Out of respect for physical creation arises respect for the other man and his property rights.

3. In India, property rights have long been eroded by a socialistic government (imposed by the pseudo-Christian, communistic Zionist Order) that encourages looting by the highest and the lowest class.

Between the two, the Indian middle class has become demoralized and dis-empowered.

4. The masses of ordinary Indians are anti-social toward groups larger than the family.

They do not  – and often cannot –  cooperate and organize to pursue their interests. They are too consumed with the rigors of surviving.

The average India does not not take part in civic organization unless he and his family are personally benefited.

5. Corruption and colonialism have encouraged a slave mentality that accepts things as they are without any serious attempt to change them.

6 The vast expansion of the government and welfare system has broken the connection between work and reward and encouraged criminality and corruption. Essential services are absent. It’s each man for himself.

7. Indians as a group are not self-critical but insecure, trying to ride on past (ancient) glories.

The post-Independence generation has been taught to blame everything on colonization, even when a large part of modern India’s problems is caused by Indians themselves.

8. Indians today are a distressing mixture of braggadocio, insecurity, and fawning, who ape the worst things in the West and ignore the best.

They disdain the best in their own culture and make excuses for the worst.

 

 

“Esau Have I Hated” Is Hyperbole

Back to Esau and Jacob.

As I said in my post on the subject a day ago,  Jacob is not a particularly attractive figure as he is presented in most commentaries on Genesis and – to the superficial eye – in the text itself.

There are also the great passages in Malachi and Obadiah, written centuries after Esau and Jacob lived, in which we are told that God “hates” Esau and “loves” Jacob.

We are told by apologists that these statements refer to the house of Jacob and to the house of Esau and not to the individuals.

Even if that were so, it doesn’t make the problem go away.

Such eternal “hatred” – from God – stands in flat contradiction to Jesus’ teaching to us to love our enemies, in imitation of God, who is perfect.

Can this be the same God who “hates” Esau?

One problem with the texts about “hating” lies in our anachronistic literalism.

The Bible is filled with hyperbolic, poetic statements that we foolishly take as literal.

Jesus asks us to turn the other cheek.

This doesn’t mean we should let ourselves be beaten black and blue, without running away, resisting, or calling for help. The Sermon on the Mount is not a counsel to masochism or pathological submissiveness, as Jesus’ own behavior with the money-changers shows.

Jesus tells us that it would be good to become eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.

This doesn’t mean that we should castrate ourselves, as one Church father, Origen, unfortunately did.

Jesus tells us that we are unworthy of him unless we “hate” our fathers and mothers.

Surely, he did not intend for us to break the commandments and loathe our parents, as some of his Pharisaic critics accused him of doing.

Such statement are hyperbole typical of the time and culture. They are poetry. Artistic license. A way of arousing and purifying the emotions, rather than simply presenting faith as an abstraction:

“[This phrase is] religious hyperbole expressing God’s hatred of evil and the wicked acts people commit. It would be a hermeneutical mistake to press them literally as statements of Christian doctrine.

Drawing hyperbolic, black-and-white dichotomies was a common semitic idiom. For example, “I have loved Jacob, but I have hated Esau” (Malachi 1.2-3; cf. Romans 9.13) is a way of saying that God has chosen Jacob and not Esau. When Jesus says, ‘Whoever comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and even life itself, cannot be my disciple’ (Luke 14.26), he means that if one prioritizes even one’s most cherished loved ones above Jesus, one’s discipleship is incomplete—a claim which is radical enough without taking it literally!”

In the Scriptures, Isaac blesses Jacob (who he thought was Esau) and then never offered a blessing to the son who had been tricked out of his blessing?

So why didn’t Isaac bless both sons?

Whenever we are reading a part of the Bible that is more historical remember that it is descriptive rather than prescriptive. For example, letters from Paul to the churches are prescriptive – guidelines for what to do in their context, so we can apply the same principles in our context.

In this historical book, the author is describing what happened not necessarily what should have happened.

Just because Isaac only blessed one son doesn’t mean that is what we should do. Just because Rebekah had a favorite and helped deceive her husband doesn’t mean that’s what we should do. In fact, part of the beauty of the Scriptures is that we can see the consequences of good and bad decision-making.

Rebekah knew that God was going to do something special for her youngest so she made sure it happened. Now, I believe it could have still happened without her manipulating her husband.

Isaac and Rebekah could have blessed both their children. In fact, later Jacob did bless all his sons.”

What is also true is that the Bible tells us that Jacob was cheated by Laban in exactly the same way as he cheated Esau, when Laban presented him with Leah as his bride, although it was Rachel for whom he had contracted.

Thus Jacob was forced to work an additional 7 years for the woman he wanted to marry.

Not only that, Jacob didn’t receive one penny of the the physical wealth that should have gone to him as the recipient of his father’s blessing, because he fled from his home in terror that Esau was going to kill him.

Rather than inheriting the bulk of his father’s wealth or taking on the responsibilities of the priesthood, as might be expected as the recipient of the birthright, Jacob was forced to  slave for Laban for 14 years, constantly cheated of his proper wage.

Thus God actually punished him more than he deserved, considering that his deception of Esau, at the instigation of his mother, took place when he was in his teens.

 

Save Used Water In A Bucket

The Alternative.in has the following simple tip to save water:

“The biggest culprits in the kitchen are those ever-flowing taps in the city and our tap-happy fingers. Every time we rinse anything under running water, we are using only a third of the water. The rest, is simply flowing unused, into the drains.
So if you are rinsing vessels, veggies – ALWAYS do it with a large container at the bottom of your sink. You can throw away the muckiest water from the first rinse. But the water from the second rinse is not icky and can be used to water your plants, or even mop the floor. We collect at least 20 litres of water from just a morning’s worth of washing and rinsing.

Keep an empty bucket next to your sink. THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO DO.” – by Anu Gummaraju

I have a few other things I do that are quite simple.

Use a shower (low-flow) or bathe from a bucket with a dipper and use the tub only for the occasional soak.

The rest of the time, the tub is a great place to store water to use in the bathroom so you don’t have to let the taps run.

Tub-water can be used to hand wash clothes, to wash the bathroom floor and sink, to water house-plants, or to flush the toilet.

A nice bonus is that if a tap leaks, you don’t need to repair it right away. You can just just turn off the valve and use water from your tub-tank instead.

 

 

 

Indian Property Set To Stagnate Or Crash

India’s Real Estate Bubble Market set for Stagflation in coming 5 years, if not outright Burst

“India’s real estate market has seen price stagnation over the last one to one and half years as buyers have disappeared from the markets, given the stratospherically high prices of apartments and villas. The real estate bubble which is sustained based on constantly rising prices, has seen one of its most fundamental tenets going out of the window. No price rise means that investors are now looking for other assets such as equities because with an inflation rate of 5-10%, no price rise means a real reduction in value. There are also numerous anecdotes of prices falling by 15-20% in select pockets such as NCR and Mumbai, especially for extremely high priced areas such as South Delhi and Mumbai.

The real estate market has been built on a foundation of huge debt from public sector banks and black money. Both are under strain now, with the new government making it more onerous to generate black money; and the banks reluctant to lend, given their massive non-performing assets which have plunged their stock prices to new lows. There is also massive inventory which is piling up and straining the balance sheet of developers. The NCR region is supposed to have inventory of around 71 months, which is way above normal. The buyer sentiment is going down each day, with the poor execution record of Indian builders who are not only steeped in corruption but also bad at execution. Many developers have just stopped construction as they have no money. Unitech which is the second largest builder has left buyers in the lurch, with delays ranging upto 5 years and no visibility on when it will complete those projects.

Real estate in India allows retailer to leverage their savings and get tax breaks. This has artificially boosted price along with massive amounts of black money. Most of the corruption money in India (Saradha scam, FTI scam etc.) gets parked into real estate, as it can absorb massive amounts of money without too much scrutiny. Most consumers have almost no right, as the developers have huge power due to political and police patronage. There are one sided agreements and construction quality is quite pathetic. There are a huge host of taxes and duties that buyers have to pay, along with hefty registration amounts. Parking is also an extra payable which beats me. Where would a consumer park his car – on his head? Governments even charge apartment buyers for providing infrastructure (utility, roads etc.). Is that not supposed to be why consumers pay normal taxes.

India’s professional white collar workers are the biggest pansies in the Indian system.

They have to pay huge taxes and get little or nothing in return. The business and trader class do not pay almost any tax, by bribing and falsifying their income. Agricultural income in India is not taxed. Even if you make $100 million from agriculture you will have to pay zero tax, but if you make $500 a month by honest hard work in a company, then you have to pay tax. No wonder so many Indian professionals have emigrated. The new government will have to change these anomalies in order for India to become a modern economy. Just putting out slogans will not help unless these structural issues are resolved.

Enough of my rants and back to the topic. India real estate prices make no sense at all, compared to any valuation metric. The price to income ratio is extremely high and the rental yield is abysmally low. Getting a rental yield of 2-3% is considered great, that is if you can find a tenant. Most people like to keep their apartments and real estate empty because they think keeping a tenant is a risk to their capital, if the tenant decides to illegally occupy the property. The Indian fascination and real estate price appreciation was driven by cheap global liquidity, black money and bad policies. Given where the prices have reached, I think that stagflation is the best option for the real estate industries. Steep price falls is also a possibility if the global liquidity situation tightens. In summary, investing in real estate is the stupidest thing to do right now.”
