Modi Visa-On-Arrival: Trojan Horse For Biometric ID

OK.  So now it should be clear what was behind the carrot held before NRIs (non-resident Indians) that was supposed to make travel back to the homeland so much easier.

Here’s the cruncher, quoted directly from the Government of India website:

  • Biometric details of the applicant will be mandatorily captured at Immigration on arrival in India.

So that’s the price of lightening up some paper-work.

You either supply the government with your ancestral records or be prepared for your irises to be scanned.

If you watched the movie, “I Origins,” the Indian data bank of iris scans – unique in the world – is the central focus of the American microbiologist who is hunting for the perfect match for this dead girl friend’s irises – which turn out to belong to a very young Kashmiri orphan in Delhi.

The movie’s release,  around the same time that the  biometric national ID scheme in India was launched, makes me wonder if that wasn’t somehow a PR piece to soften the image of this monstrous project, one that was rightly rejected in Britain, but is now being foisted on India:

“The United Kingdom—a non-Schengen country—contemplated introducing fingerprints voluntarily as part of abiometricpassport 2.0, but ultimately decided against it. The UK government was preparing to launch abiometricnationalidentitycard, for which it gathered fingerprints from 15,000 volunteers for the project. But the new government“didn‘tbelieveIDcardswouldwork“ and physically destroyed the pilot identity databases. However, in 2010, the UK National Policing Improvement Agency also conducted apilottest to provide police officers with digital fingerprint scanners that could remotely match individuals’ fingerprints against a central database. The outcome of this project is unknown and, when questioned, the agencyrefused to disclose the error rates that resulted from its tests.

In the Netherlands, the database storage of digital fingerprinting for travel documentswas haltedfollowing questions over the reliability of the biometric technology. The Mayor of the City of Roermond reported that21 percent offingerprints collected in the city could not be used to identify any individuals. In April 2011, the Dutch Minister of Interior, in a letter to the Dutch House of Representatives, asserted that the number of false rejections (cases in which there is a “no-hit” for a lawful holder of a travel document) is too high to warrant using fingerprints for verification and identification. Currently, only fingerprints onto Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips in ID documents are being collected.”

Add all this information to the background history of the British firm Cox & Kings, to which the India visa process has been outsourced,  and you have to concede that the British Raj may be back….and most people don’t even know it.

India Launches E-Visa On November 27?

Although I’m not willing to credit this until November 27 rolls around, the headlines are quite explicit:

India is launching the e-visa system (electronic authorization) on November 27, and the US is on the list of countries to be included,  along with Germany, Israel, Palestine, Russia, and Brazil….making some 43 countries in all.

I sincerely hope this is the real thing, since we’ve had a number of false starts, trial balloons, and gaseous PR emissions from 2012 onward about the new visa system.

US citizens of Indian origin, a hapless lot, routinely fleeced by their motherland through every-changing visa requirements and hefty fees can shove some of that mountain of bureaucratic paper they usually need into the waste-bin.

This is no exaggeration.

To get a simple, garden-variety 6 month tourist visa to India requires (at last count) one detailed online application that asks for your parents’ birthplaces; four administrative forms (a declaration, an order form, a waiver, and something else I’ve forgotten);  proof of your residence proof of your former Indian citizenship; proof of your renunciation of your former Indian citizenship; your passport, as well as copies of your passport and copies of your former passport; two checklists, one to be submitted in duplicate; a complex form for payment which costs $50 just for the postage.

The whole thing sets you back about $150, which is almost 25% of the cost of a cheap-cheap round-trip fare to India.

And THAT fare is made up about 30% of government fees.

The “for-profit” devils of the airline industry somehow manage to shuttle you across ocean and continent in record time, feeding and entertaining you all the way with various local lovelies at your beck and call, all for the price of  an upscale room in a major city….whereas the “public servants” manage to spend nearly as much just to get through some increasingly nosy paper-work.

Meanwhile, who is running this consular snoop-fest which Indian-origin US citizens – and no other – must go through?

Her Britannic Majesty’s travel agency: Cox and Kings.

Which somehow is the inexplicable choice of super-nationalist Hindu patriot, salvation of middle-class India, Narendra Modi.

Hmm. What am I missing?

The Bible says you are not your brother’s keeper

Gary North  (h/t LRC) describes how the left twists the Biblical story of Cain and Abel to support the welfare state.

In the story, Cain murders his innocent brother Abel out of envy of his piety and is questioned about it by God shortly after.

North argues that Cain’s famous reply to God,  “Am I my brother’s keeper?” should not be read to support the idea that people ought to be their brothers’ keepers, as it frequently is.

Cain was only temporizing.

He knew full well where Abel’s murdered body lay, since he’d put it there.

And he knew full well that God knew he’d put it there.

God’ question to Cain was only intended to find out whether Cain was willing to admit what he’d done to Abel.

Cain’s answer really has the opposite meaning from the commonly accepted one.

In this version, a keeper can only “keep” (that is, monitor) someone who is mentally non compos or physically incapacitated.

Since Abel was neither, Cain could not be  Abel’s “keeper.”

Cain was perfectly right on this point.

Which was why he made it, since he knew he was perfectly wrong on everything else.

Reading Cain’s reply this way, anyone who is someone’s “keeper” is obliged to “monitor” them.

The “kept” ones  necessarily lose their physical and moral freedom, since they no longer have full responsibility for the consequences of their actions.

Having full responsibility for the consequences of your actions is roughly what it means to be a legal adult.

Obviously, if other people have to foot the bill for your actions, they are going to watch your actions very closely.

The bill could run up steeply, otherwise.

And that is  just what happens when the government (as proxy for the the public) is obliged to provide for its citizens (that is, for everyone).

The bill runs up.

To stop that happening, ostensibly, the government tightens the screws.

When everyone (as the government) monitors everyone (as the public), the results are pretty much what you have in the US, the UK, Europe, and many other countries following the same dysfunctional model of nationhood – a top-heavy bureaucratic police-state, with endless, infinite surveillance.

 

 

 

Vits. A, D, K2; Zinc & Mg: Keys To Senior Brain Health

We now know that inappropriate calcification is actually due more to lack of K2 than simply too much vitamin D.

Magnesium Is Also Important for Vitamin D Activity

Magnesium is another important player—both for the proper function of calcium, and for the activity of vitamin D, as it converts vitamin D into its active form. Magnesium also activates enzyme activity that helps your body use the vitamin D. In fact, all enzymes that metabolize vitamin D require magnesium to work. As with vitamin D and K2, magnesium deficiency is also common, and if you’re lacking in magnesium and take supplemental calcium, you may exacerbate the situation. Vitamin K2, magnesium, calcium, and vitamin D all work in tandem with each other, which is why it’s important to pay attention to their ratios. Vitamin A, zinc, and boron are other important cofactors that interact with vitamin D, and indeed, zinc deficiency has also been identified as a contributing factor to Alzheimer’s disease.

When taking supplements, it can be easy to create lopsided ratios, so getting these nutrients from an organic whole food diet and sensible sun exposure is generally your best bet. Dietary sources of magnesium include sea vegetables, such as kelp, dulse, and nori. Vegetables can also be a good source. As for supplements, magnesium citrate and magnesium threonate are among the best.

My Alzheimer’s Prevention Strategies

Because there are so few treatments for Alzheimer’s, and no available cure, you’re really left with just one solid solution, and that is to prevent it from happening to you in the first place. Diet is part and parcel of a successful prevention plan, and my optimized nutrition plan can set you on the right path in this regard. As explained by neurologist Dr. David Perlmutter, author of the book,Grain Brain, Alzheimer’s is a disease predicated primarily on lifestyle choices; the two main culprits being excessive sugar and gluten consumption.

Another major factor is the development and increased consumption of genetically engineered (GE) grains, which are heavily contaminated with glyphosate—a herbicide thought to be worse than DDT, and DDT has already been linked to the development of Alzheimer’s… GE sugar and grains are now pervasive in most processed foods sold in the US, so swapping out processed fare for whole foods is an important part of the equation. In terms of your diet and other lifestyle factors, the following suggestions may be among the most important for Alzheimer’s prevention:

  • Avoid sugar andrefined fructose. Ideally, you’ll want to keep your sugar levels to a minimum and your total fructose below 25 grams per day, or as low as 15 grams per day if you have insulin/leptin resistance or any related disorders
  • Avoid gluten and casein (primarily wheat and pasteurized dairy, but not dairy fat, such as butter). Research shows that your blood-brain barrier is negatively affected by gluten. Gluten also makes your gut more permeable, which allows proteins to get into your bloodstream, where they don’t belong. That then sensitizes your immune system and promotes inflammation and autoimmunity, both of which play a role in the development of Alzheimer’s
  • Optimize your gut flora by regularly eating fermented foods or taking a high-potency and high-quality probiotic supplement.
  • Increase consumption of all healthy fats, including animal-based omega-3. Healthy fats that your brain needs for optimal function include organically-raised grass-fed meats, coconut oil, olives and olive oil, avocado, nuts, organic pastured egg yolks, and butter made from raw grass-fed milk. High intake of the omega-3 fats EPA and DHA are also helpful for preventing cell damage caused by Alzheimer’s disease, thereby slowing down its progression, and lowering your risk of developing the disorder.
  • Reduce your overall calorie consumption, and/or intermittently fast. Ketones are mobilized when you replace carbs with coconut oil and other sources of healthy fats. As mentioned above intermittent fasting is a powerful tool to jumpstart your body into remembering how to burn fat and repair the inulin/leptin resistance that is also a primary contributing factor for Alzheimer’s.   • Improve your magnesium levels. Preliminary research strongly suggests a decrease in Alzheimer symptoms with increased levels of magnesium in the brain. Unfortunately, most magnesium supplements do not pass the blood brain levels, but a new one, magnesium threonate, appears to and holds some promise for the future for treating this condition and may be superior to other forms.
  • Eat a nutritious diet, rich in folate. Vegetables, without question, are your best form of folate, and we should all eat plenty of fresh raw veggies every day. Avoid supplements like folic acid, which is the inferior synthetic version of folate.
  • Exercise regularly. It’s been suggested that exercise can trigger a change in the way the amyloid precursor protein is metabolized,7 thus, slowing down the onset and progression of Alzheimer’s. Exercise also increases levels of the BDNF, (brain derived neurotropic factor) and PGC-1alpha. Research has shown that people with Alzheimer’s have less PGC-1alpha in their brains and cells that contain more of the protein produce less of the toxic amyloid protein associated with Alzheimer’s. I would strongly recommend reviewing the Peak Fitness Technique for my specific recommendations.
  • Optimize your vitamin D levels with safe sun exposure. Sufficient vitamin D is imperative for proper functioning of your immune system to combat inflammation that is also associated with Alzheimer’s.
  • Avoid and eliminate mercury from your body. Dental amalgam fillings, which are 50 percent mercury by weight, are one of the major sources of heavy metal toxicity. However, you should be healthy prior to having them removed. Once you have adjusted to following the diet described in my optimized nutrition plan, you can follow the mercury detox protocol and then find a biological dentist to have your amalgams removed.
  • Avoid and eliminate aluminum from your body: Sources of aluminum include antiperspirants, non-stick cookware,vaccine adjuvants, etc. For tips on how to detox aluminum, please see my article, “First Case Study to Show Direct Link between Alzheimer’s and Aluminum Toxicity.”
  • Avoid flu vaccinations as most contain both mercury and aluminum, well-known neurotoxic and immunotoxic agents.
  • Avoid anticholinergics and statin drugs. Drugs that block acetylcholine, a nervous system neurotransmitter, have been shown to increase your risk of dementia. These drugs include certain nighttime pain relievers, antihistamines, sleep aids, certain antidepressants, medications to control incontinence, and certain narcotic pain relievers. Statin drugs are particularly problematic because they suppress the synthesis of cholesterol, deplete your brain of coenzyme Q10 and neurotransmitter precursors, and prevent adequate delivery of essential fatty acids and fat-soluble antioxidants to your brain by inhibiting the production of the indispensable carrier biomolecule known as low-density lipoprotein.
  • Challenge your mind daily. Mental stimulation, especially learning something new, such as learning to play an instrument or a new language, is associated with a decreased risk of Alzheimer’s. Researchers suspect that mental challenge helps to build up your brain, making it less susceptible to the lesions associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Avoid electromagnetic fields (EMF) created by wireless devices. The BioInitiative Report,8 initially published in 2007, and again in 2012 by an international working group of scientists, researchers, and public health policy professionals, concluded that the existing standards for public safety are completely inadequate to protect your health. The report includes evidence that electromagnetic fields and exposure to radio-frequencies can have a detrimental impact on Alzheimer’s disease, along with a whole host of other chronic health problems

Marranos Behind Puritanism, Utopianism, Revolution:

E. Michael Jones, like the owner of the Fish-eaters website, is a traditional Catholic of a stronger variety (radical) than most mainstream traditional Catholics.

I don’t subscribe to radical traditionalist dogma, being an eclectic/syncretist Christian myself, although I am very sympathetic to several of the positions that rad trads take.

I posted Jones’ piece, because it gives an analysis of history not found in mainstream accounts.

A further note:

Not having studied the matter at first hand to any great degree, I don’t dispute most of the mainstream version of the Holocaust narrative, although I also don’t think revisionists should be silenced or persecuted.  One can admit that Germans suffered enormously from Allied war crimes, without denying that Jews also suffered enormously from German war-crimes. To me, this demythologizes Jewish people from being either the super-heroes…or the super-villains…of Western (and thus, world) history.

E. Michael Jones on the Marranos behind the revolutionary Protestant movements of the 16th century and thereafter:

Once the Jews who were expelled from Spain began to regroup in the newly-Protestant regions of the North, their settlements began to draw Marranos

like a magnet, and the disaffected Catholics who had once been living double lives as clerics with concubines in places like Saxony and Thuringia now began to make common cause with the Jews who had led double lives as well by converting to Catholicism simply to preserve their wealth.

Revolution, which is to say, a pan-ethnic coordinated attack on the cultural hegemony of the Catholic Church over Europe, emerged as a force in world history when these two groups merged in places like Antwerp in the middle of the 16th century. Revolution was, in other words, a Protestant-Jewish alliance from its inception.

The Jews, as Newman shows so well, promoted every “reform” movement in Europe, from the Hussites to the Anabaptists, as a way of weakening the hegemony of the Catholic Church, reasoning—falsely in the case of Luther—that the enemy of their enemy was their friend.

In places like Antwerp and Amsterdam, the Jews put their wealth as well as their considerable expertise in finance and publishing at the disposal of the libidinous German monks and their princely protectors as their way of waging cultural warfare against the Catholic Church and Spain, its defender…………

The “Reformers” for their part could justify their criminal behavior only by cloaking it in the imagery of the Old Testament. Regicide was the most heinous of crimes and viewed with revulsion by all of Christian Europe, and yet Cromwell justified his role in the murder of Charles I ……

Cromwell, according to one commentator, “was making a startling reference to the biblical story of Phineas, who thrust a javelin through a sinfully copulating couple, thus saving the people of Israel from the wrath of God. In the end, only brutal summary justice against the King had served to complete God’s work to save the nation from His wrath and to secure his continuing love.”

By 1649, when Charles I went on trial, the tradition of Judaizing which had been extirpated from Spain had struck deep roots in England. The English judaizers were known as Puritans, and Cromwell as their leader was as versed in using Biblical figures as a rationalization for his crimes as he was in using Jewish spies from Spain and Portugal as agents in his ongoing war with the Catholic powers of Europe.

The Puritans in England could implement the idea of revolution so readily precisely because they were Judaizers, and that is so because revolution was at its root a Jewish idea.

Based on Moses’ deliverance of Israel as described in the book of Exodus, the revolutionary saw a small group of chosen “saints” leading a fallen world to liberation from political oppression.

Revolution was nothing if not a secularization of ideas taken from the Bible, and as history progressed the secularization of the concept would progress as well. But the total secularization of the idea in the 17th century would have made the idea totally useless to the Puritan revolutionaries. Secularization in the 17th century was synonymous with Judaizing.

It meant substituting the Old Testament for the New.

The concept of revolution gained legitimacy in the eyes of the Puritans precisely because of its Jewish roots. Graetz sees the attraction which Jewish ideas held for English Puritans quite clearly.

The Roundheads were not inspired by the example of the suffering Christ, nor were they inspired by the medieval saints who imitated him. They needed the example of the warriors of Israel to inspire them in their equally bellicose campaigns against the Irish and the Scotch, who became liable to extermination because the Puritans saw them as Canaanites. Similarly, the King, who was an unworthy leader, like Phineas, deserved to die at the hands of the righteous, who now acted without any external authority, but, as the Jews had, on direct orders from God……

Graetz puts his finger on the heart of the issue when he identifies Puritan role models as “at once religious and national champions.”

Revolution as practiced by the Puritan Judaizers of England was a reversion to a more primitive, pre-Christian model. There was no separation the two swords of pope and emperor here—or, to use the terms of a later more secular era, no separation of church and state—instead, both pope and emperor were fused into one charismatic revenant of King David.

Israel had become ethnic once again, except that now the real Jews were Englishmen, the visible elect on earth, and England (or New England) was the New Jerusalem.

…….One can almost hear in Milton’s tendentious pleading for the legalization of divorce, the devotees of Planned Parenthood arguing that the logical sequel to America’s conquest of Afghanistan or Iraq should be contraception and abortion. Messianic politics and sexual liberation have gone hand in hand from the beginning, and they still do, now that America is the uncontested new Israel.

Messianic politics lies at the heart of what the Jewish and Puritan revolutionaries of the 16th century had in common, which is to say, both the Puritan and the Jew shared a desire to attain the spiritual goods promised in the Bible by secular means.

Messianic politics was a form of magic, since the attainment of wealth and power by spiritual means had always been the goal of Simon Magus and his followers, and as such it had a powerful appeal to a group of people who were just discovering the natural sciences at the same time that they were full of revulsion at the cross of Christ and the ideal of suffering which it embodied. “It is better,” St. Augustine wrote, summarizing the Catholic alternative to Simon Magus, “to love God and make use of money, than to love money and make use of God.”

The Puritan rejection of the medieval worldview of the Catholic Church (and its Anglican surrogates) was ultimately traceable to the Jewish rejection of the suffering Christ as an unworthy Messiah. “The chief priests,” St. Matthew tells us, “with the scribes and elders mocked him in the same way. ‘He saved others,’ they said, ‘he cannot save himself. He is the king of Israel; let him come down from the cross now, and we will believe in him.’”

A Traditionalist On Rabbinical Persecution Of Christians

A passionate, politically incorrect refutation of the current pieties about the supposed inveterate anti-Semitism of the traditional Catholic church, at Fish-eaters.com.

It lists the extensive persecution of Christians over the centuries at the hands of Rabbinical Jews, starting with their judicial murder of Jesus,  using the Roman state as a proxy:

I know that it’s politically correct to bash the Romans on this account, but the Romans had no issue with Jesus and “only” acted as instruments to carry out the Jews’ wishes (which is culpability and cowardice enough, to be sure). The Jews, however, did want Christ dead, and used Roman power to make it happen. The Russians didn’t want it, the Poles didn’t want it, the Ugandans didn’t want it, Pilate washed his hands of the matter: the Jews wanted it.

John 11:45-53 (KJV), after the raising of Lazarus: Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

Note, though, please, how many Jews here came to know the Messiah, Who Himself was genetically (partly) Semitic and Who fulfilled the Old Testament promises. The point, which I reiterate here, is that “race” and “ethnicity” are not the issue; the issue is a matter of idealogy, faith, belief, and acts of the will. Peter, Paul, Matthew, etc. — most of the Apostles — were Semitic followers of the Old Testament religion who came to know that the Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled in Jesus Christ and who gave up their lives defending that belief.

In addition, while it is obvious historical fact that, proximately, it was Palestinian Jews who used Roman power to kill the Messiah, it is also true — and has been taught as true since the Church’s beginning — that we are all responsible. The Catechism of the Council of Trent, issued by Pope St. Pius V (A.D. 1566-1572), taught:

Furthermore men of all ranks and conditions were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. Gentiles and Jews were the advisers, the authors, the ministers of His Passion: Judas betrayed Him, Peter denied Him, all the rest deserted Him.

and

In this guilt are involved all those who fall frequently into sin; for, as our sins consigned Christ the Lord to the death of the cross, most certainly those who wallow in sin and iniquity crucify to themselves again the Son of God, as far as in them lies, and make a mockery of Him. This guilt seems more enormous in us than in the Jews, since according to the testimony of the same Apostle: If they had known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory; while we, on the contrary, professing to know Him, yet denying Him by our actions, seem in some sort to lay violent hands on him.

In other words, Palestinian Jews were historically, proximately responsible for Christ’s Passion and death, just as were those Romans who allowed themselves to be cowed by them, but culpability for His death lies in us all — the more so with Christians who know Him and believe Him, but still offend Him. While the post-Temple Jewish religion can be described as a “Deicide religion” in that it glories in Deicide when exulting in the murder of Jesus, “the Jews” cannot be decribed as “Christ-killers” in any literal sense. This isn’t some new Vatican II teaching that changed the “anti-semitic traditional teaching of the Church” as anti-Catholics want you to believe so they can shame the Church into submission; it is what the Church has always taught, and the only reasons I even bring it up are our inability nowadays to speak of historical fact as revealed by the Gospels, the willingness of too many people to blame everyone — anyone — but “the Jews” (why it’s OK to diss “the Romans” but not “the Jews” is beyond me as a daughter of Rome), and the stupid, nerve-wracking idea that the Church “used to be anti-semitic,” but now, “since Vatican II,” the Church has changed Her teachings.

That last is only the world’s way of dismissing traditional — i.e, true — Catholic teaching altogether and of making the Church seem wishy-washy, anything but divine, and, above all, malleable (“You’ve ‘changed’ your teachings on the Jews, why not change your attitudes toward sex and priestly celibacy and the ‘ordination’ of women?”) It’s a way of shaming the Church’s History and stealing Her rich heritage from those who love Her. And it’s also a way of propping up “the spirit of Vatican II,” the most destructive force that has ever afflicted Holy Mother Church and which has rendered the institutional Church impotent and sterile, and has almost destroyed the Roman Rite. All one has to do to see the “disconnect” between the what the “the spirit” of this Council really did and how the Modernists want you to perceive it is to study the horrific effects of the interpreations of Vatican II — and then read how Jews, neo-Catholics, and the media speak of the “great Council” while they dismiss the “pre-Vatican II Church” as barbarous and unenlightened.

At any rate, it’s rather paradoxical, this clamor on the part of Jews to absolve “the Jews” of Deicide (note the hysteria in response to Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”), especially when in their “holy” books and by the pens of their “sages,” they openly and proudly state that Jews did kill Jesus. Note what Maimonides, who is considered by Jews to be “The Second Moses,” wrote in his “Letter to Yemen”:

[Jesus of Nazareth] impelled people to believe that he was a prophet sent by God to clarify perplexities in the Torah, and that he was the Messiah that was predicted by each and every seer. He interpreted the Torah and its precepts in such a fashion as to lead to their total annulment, to the abolition of all its commandments and to the violation of its prohibitions. The sages, of blessed memory, having become aware of his plans before his reputation spread among our people, meted out fitting punishment to him.

The Jewish historian Josephus confirms the Gospel account in his “Antiquities”:

Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day [my emphasis].

Interestingly, an article appeared on the website of the American Jewish Committee that affirmed what is being said here about what Jewish writings themselves say about the death of Jesus. That article disappeared from the site within days (oops! how’d this get published?), but you may read the article here on-site.

To continue with the topic: the errors of the Pharisaic rabbis, their legalistic, “anti-goy” elitism, grew even greater after the Temple fell and the only priests left were New Covenant priests. Their desires for a restored Jerusalem and a worldly Messiah-King were not shared by the Christians, ethnically Hebrew or not, whose Messiah told them to “render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s”; this Christian anti-Zionism only fueled the Pharisees’ hatred for the Christians.

Around A.D. 100, the Pharisees started a school at Jamnia (often referred to as the “Council of Jamnia” or “Jabneh”) to solidify the Pharisees’ power. They threw out the Septuagint version of the Old Testament, used by the Palestinian Jews for hundreds of years and cherished by the Apostles, because this version, which contains the Deuterocanonical Books (referred to as the “Apocrypha” by Protestants), was used by the Christians to proselytize Jews due to its more specific language used to convey the Messianic prophecies. From this “Council of Jamnia,” too, came the Birkat ha-Minim — a part of the Amida prayer which consists of a curse against Christians asking God to destroy us. This Amida prayer with its curse against Christians has been prayed by religious Jews three times a day for almost two millennia. Rounding out this racism, in A.D. 125, one of the most respected rabbis (he is quoted over 700 times in the Talmud), Rabbi Simeon Ben Johai, formally declared that non-Jews are not even human.

Jewish pogroms against Christians took place not only in Palestine (note the famous Bar Kochba Rebellion of A.D. 135), in Caesarea, Scytpolis, Yemen, Antioch — a town through which Jews dragged the body of Patriarch Anastasius in A.D. 608, after they threw his genitals in his face and disembowelled him — and any other place they could get away with it.

When reading the typical history book talking about the “repressiveness” of the Church, or hearing a typical dispensationalist Protestant sermon reviling the great Saints like John Chrysostom who spoke against the errors of Pharisaic Judaism (just as Jesus did!), you won’t hear a word about the above — or how Jews agitated anti-Christian animosity among Kings and Emperors, resulting in the slaughter of true Israel (the Church). You won’t read this, from Sozomen’s (c. A.D. 375-c. 447) “Ecclesiastical History,” Book II, Chapter IX:

When, in course of time, the Christians increased in number, and began to form churches, and appointed priests and deacons, the Magi, who as a priestly tribe had from the beginning in successive generations acted as the guardians of the Persian religion, became deeply incensed against them. The Jews, who through envy are in some way naturally opposed to the Christian religion, were likewise offended. They therefore brought accusations before Sapor [King of Persia], the reigning sovereign, against Symeon, who was then archbishop of Seleucia and Ctesiphon, royal cities of Persia, and charged him with being a friend of the Caesar of the Romans, and with communicating the affairs of the Persians to him. Sapor believed these accusations, and at first, ground the Christians with excessive taxes, although he knew that the generality of them had voluntarily embraced poverty. He entrusted the exaction to cruel men, hoping that, by the want of necessaries, and the atrocity of the ex-actors, they might be compelled to abjure their religion; for this was his aim. Afterwards, however, be commanded that the priests and conductors of the worship of God should be slain with the sword. The churches were demolished, their vessels were deposited in the treasury, and Symeon was arrested as a traitor to the kingdom and the religion of the Persians. Thus the Magi, with the co-operation of the Jews, quickly destroyed the houses of prayer.

You won’t hear how Jews allied themselves with the Christian-born but later professing pagan Julian the Apostate, Emperor of Rome between A.D. 361 and 363 and fourth successor of Constantine, who oppressed Christians even as he tried to help Jews rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, a project that ended when mysterious balls of fires emanated from the ground (and sky, depending on the account) at the site, burning the workers to death, and an earthquake struck. You won’t hear how the Jews allied themselves with the Persians in attacking Palestine in A.D. 614 — and how they reveled in slaughtering the Christians there and razing their churches, including the one built over Christ’s Tomb. According to Monk Strategius of Mar Saba (Antiochus Strategos), Jews purchased Christian slaves from the Persians for the sole purpose of slaughtering them “just as one might buy cattle to slaughter.” 3

You won’t hear how Jews rose to high levels in medieval Spanish society by falsely claiming to have converted to the Holy Faith, how many became priests, rose to prominence in the Church, and then proceeded to Judaize that country’s Catholics. You won’t hear how these false converts also cooperated with Muslims to overtake that country during the Muslim aggressions (oh, so that’s why that nasty Catholic Queen Isabella kicked them out in 1492!)

You won’t hear that on Yom Kippur, Jews pray the Kol Nidre, a prayer that releases them, in advance, of all vows they will make in the upcoming year, a prayer which allowed them to engage in fraudulent business practices while still remaining loyal to Judaism.

And you most certainly won’t hear about usury — the other true source of “anti-semitism” in Christian lands.”

 

 

Boyle’s Alleged Threats Against Detractors

I say “alleged,” because these days even email can be forged.   But the source is quite credible:  renowned law professor, Eugene Volokh’s blog.

In the process, he condemns the Administration for various (generally unnamed) violations of the First Amendment…..

A speech entitled “No War Against Afghanistan!” says

“Let me conclude by saying that we still have our first amendment rights, despite Ashcroft’s best efforts.”

Daily Illini article from last Fall quotes him as complaining that

“The climate [at the law school] is very threatening to professors of dissent.”

Curiously, though, a reliable source just passed along to me an e-mail that Boyle sent around last November, which seems to demonstrate a slightly different attitude about the First Amendment:

It has already been reported in national news media sources, that I have filed a Complaint with the Department of Justice, Office of Civil Rights, which is currently pending.

Any “Boyle bashing” will be filed with DOJ/OCR in support of that Complaint, including this message.

That could create problems for people dealing with a Character and Fitness Committee who want to be admitted to the Bar somewhere.

Interesting — a professor threatening to try to jeopardize the careers of people (presumably students, since they’re the ones who would most care about Bar admission) if they criticize (“bash”) him.

(The law school dean, to her credit, promptly condemned Boyle’s actions.)

This is not, however, the first example of Prof. Boyle’s somewhat limited view of free speech. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Prof. Boyle had also sent around (in 1997) a mass e-mail calling for law professors “to prevent[] the appointment of Federalist Society Members to our faculties,” a policy that would violate basic academic freedom principles, and, if engaged in by public schools (such as Prof. Boyle’s own), would violate the First Amendment.

And note also the basis for the Complaint that Boyle’s e-mail refers to (from Reason):

Boyle, described by legendary activist Philip Berrigan as “a lawyer of the quality of Thomas More or Gandhi . . . the most competent and impassioned advocate of international law in the U.S.,” claims he experienced discrimination when he objected to the bar crawls graduate students hold every St. Patricks Day. “A bar crawl in honor of St. Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, and one of the great figures of Western Judeo-Christian Civilization, is completely sacrilegious,” he says.

Boyle’s objections, he says, made him a target.

“It’s clearly a hostile work environment for me,” he says.

“I’ve been subject to ridicule by students and student organizations. This is a hostile environment based on my race — I’m of Irish nationality and a citizen of the Irish Republic — and on my religion — I’m Catholic.”

Indeed, Boyle claims the harassment got so bad that he complained to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, noting that “it doesn’t cost me anything” to have the government investigate his claims.

Yet when pressed for details, Boyle becomes as vague as Van Morrison lyrics. “I got nasty e-mails,” the professor says, giving no hint of their contents.

“They ridiculed me for being Catholic and ridiculed Catholicism. Two years ago, they even made a T-shirt ridiculing me.”

Was this ridicule based on religion or ethnicity, or do Boyle’s students and colleagues just dislike him? Without examples, it’s impossible to say.

Apparently “the First Amendments rights of . . . freedom of speech” do not, in Prof. Boyle’s book, extend to people who want to ridicule Catholicism, or, for that matter, their professors.

“Free speech for me,” as Nat Hentoff’s book title says, “but not for thee.”

Apparently,  this is not the only time Professor Boyle has acted high-handedly.

In 2008, he wrote to the state of Illinois to intervene and suspend all liquor licenses for a period of several days:

“The good citizens of Champaign and Urbana will suffer from civil disturbances, large-scale public drunkenness, destruction of property, physical assaults and batteries, rapes and more deaths,” Boyle said in his complaint.

So he asked the commission to suspend all liquor licenses for every bar and liquor store between Lincoln Avenue and Prospect Avenue and between University Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue.

In a separate letter to Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Boyle asked for intervention under the state Illinois Emergency Management Act, which gives the governor power “to suspend or limit the sale, dispensing, or transportation of alcoholic beverages.”

Boyle asked the governor to do so in Champaign-Urbana from Feb. 29 through March 2.”

A blog calling itself the ArmageddonConspiracy purports to be the messenger of the New World Order.

It claims that the NWO is an excellent thing and  not to be feared as Christian fundamentalists and anarcho-capitalist libertarians would have you believe.

The NWO is simply the Enlightenment, the continuation of  the philosophy of meritocracy,  sociability,  and reason, handed down from Hermes Trismegistus to Pythagorus and Plato….and revived in the 18th century in Europe.

Who could be against it, save Abrahamic fanatics, who still need savior gods and devils to rescue and terrorize them…

In other words, join us,  say the Illuminati. Get on social media and start your own revolution against the old word order.

I looked for a contact email address, because, for alleged Illuminati, the website carried some surprising errors, and I figured it would only be polite to tell them.

But I couldn’t find any contact address.

So, with hope that someone will pop over and read my post, let me take it upon myself to be kind to an Illuminatus today and diagnose why they have become confused…. in at least one  thing.

ArmageddonConspiracy claims that Christianity is mistaken, because if God rewards those who accept him and punishes those who reject him, why is it that God’s supposed enemy, Satan, does God’s work for him, i.e., does the punishing?

It would  be more logical if Satan rewarded the enemies of God, right?

Well, no.

Only in the fantasies of an Illuminatus, who thinks men can become God with a little effort and a Facebook page.

The point of Satan, as he is represented in the Bible, is that he is a deceiver and that his nature is perverse and envious.

So the notion that Satan is somehow “obliged” to reward those who accept him is based on the faulty assumption that Evil, which is based in treachery and falsity, must somehow conform to “just” notions of reciprocity and keep its word to its followers.

Elementary error number one, Illuminatus.

Elementary error two.

Satan and God are not invertible propositions or binaries at all. They do not exist ontologically in the same way.   Hence their relationship is not inverse or proportioned to each other in any way.

Syllogisms which run “If God x, then Satan y,” don’t obtain. Sorry.

Elementary error three.  God does not torture those who reject him nor does he will that anyone be tortured,  although Bible verses have been misinterpreted that way.

The state of not accepting God is in itself the state of being enslaved to Satan, per Christianity.  The punishment is carried within the act of sin itself, which is why the Bible says the wages of “sin” is death.

Since all men sin, the only way out, per Christianity, is through grace….God’s love.

That is where the savior…or avatar…comes in…that cheap, vulgar externalization of the Godhead that the Illumined  ones reject  haughtily.

Reading the blog made me, not for the first time,  a bit sad for these so-called enlightened ones, for whom Prometheus/Lucifer is the true God.

Human beings however wise in our own eyes, do not have a hundredth part of the wisdom of the angels, even (or especially) the fallen ones.

While we preen ourselves as “illumined,” the light we grasp is only the “shining” of  vain-glory….not the light of the true sun…

But that’s enough metaphysics and mythology for this blog-post.

Prof. Boyle Recycles Term Paper, Gets “F”

He has recycled them from his charges against Israel in 2008:

“An Israeli war-crimes tribunal may be the only deterrent to a global war,” Francis Boyle, Globalresearch.ca, December 31, 2008.

Furthermore, in  both pieces, Boyle cites U.N. Charter Article 22 as authorizing the creation of an International Criminal Tribunal as a subsidiary organ to which Sri Lanka (and, previously, Israel) would be brought.

But is this even possible under the terms of the charter?

Here is Article 22 from the UN Charter:

The General Assembly may establish such subsidiary organs as it deems necessary for the performance of its functions.”

The language is vague, but is there any warrant here or elsewhere to read this article  so broadly so as to bestow powers on the General Assembly to create an international criminal tribunal?

Especially, when elsewhere the powers of the General Assembly are severely circumscribed?

At JustSecurity.org, Professor Derek Jinks, Marrs McLean Professor of Law at the highly regarded University of Texas law school, blows this notion out of the water.

Citing learned literature on the subject and previous  advisory opinions of the International  Court of Justice itself (which is under the authority of the Security Council, not the General Assembly of the UN), he writes:

 Indeed, the more common reading of Article 22 is that it accords the GA the authority to establish only subsidiary organs enjoying the same powers as the GA itself (for good sources, see Simma, et al., The Charter of the United Nations: A Commentary 427-28 (2nd ed. 2002); Goodrich, et al., Charter of the United Nations 191 (3rd ed. 1969)). In other words, the GA cannot via a subsidiary organ wield any powers it does not otherwise enjoy under the Charter. Article 22, on this view, is not an end run around the enumerated powers of the GA.

An early advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice confirms this view. In assessing the legality of the GA-established United Nations Administrative Tribunal (UNAT)—a tribunal for resolving disputes between U.N. staff and the United Nations—the ICJ found that Article 22 alone does not empower the GA to establish a judicial body because the GA enjoys no judicial authority under the Charter.”

Since Wikipedia gives Dr. Boyle’s resume thus:

A professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law.[1] Boyle received a A.B. (1971) in Political Science from the University of Chicago, then a J.D. degree magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and A.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science from Harvard University. He also practiced tax and international tax with Bingham, Dana & Gould,”

I think it would be safe to say that the activist professor is not incompetent but extraordinarily competent.

That being the case, it would also be safe to infer that  “propaganda” or “chicanery” remains the only cogent explanation for Dr. Boyle’s misleading public statements.

I have excerpted the texts of Dr. Boyle’s two articles (on Israel in 2008 and on Lanka in 2013) to show how much of the latter is simply regurgitated.

I came across this open letter to Francis Boyle from a Sri Lankan  who has seen upfront and close what damage the Tigers have done to Tamils themselves.

I was shocked by your remarks posted on a pro-LTTE website, Tamilnet on Feb. 3rd. I have one question to start: have you visited Sri Lanka?

After living in Sri Lanka for 30 years and having a number of Tamil, Sinhala and Muslim friends, I can guarantee you that there hadn’t been any discrimination on Northern Tamils to start a separatist war.

Since our independence, however, Tamils lost a lot of privileges awarded to them by the colonial rulers, the British, which they may have lost to the majority when democracy returned to Sri Lanka and open competition took place.

My guarantee means nothing to anyone; therefore, I would like to share some facts and links.

There are more Tamils living with Sinhalese than with the LTTE.

            Sinhalese living in Jaffna:

            1971 census: 20,514 (2.9%)

            1981 census: 5,648 (0.7%)

            2007 census: 67 Sinhalese (0.01%)

            Tamils living in the South:

            1971 29.2%

            1981 32.8%

            2007 52.2%

LTTE has killed more Tamils than Sinhalese

Out of 30 political leaders, mostly MPs,  LTTE assassinated, the majority (18) were Tamils.    

LTTE is responsible for the largest number of suicide attacks (168) and attacks using female suicide bombers (Female Suicide Bombers: A Social Catastrophe, Sanjeewa Karunaratne).

Tamils were well-represented in Sri Lanka:

There were 12% Tamils in the 1977 parliament.

There are 14% Tamils in the current parliament (2004).

When the war broke out in 1983, four out of six deputy inspector generals (DIGs–Vamadevan, Suntharalingam, Thangavelu and Shanker) and the inspector general of the police (IGP–Rudra Rajasingham) were Tamils

Sri Lanaka had a Tamil chief justice (CJ–Hon. Justice Sharvananda) and many reputable supreme court justices including Justice Manicavasagar

Sri Lanka had two Tamil attorney generals (AGs–Pasupathi, Kamalasabesan)

When the war broke out in 1983, Sri Lanka’s ambassadors to Britain, West Germany, France, China and many other countries were Tamils

When the war broke out in 1983, three out of fifteen cabinet ministers (Devanayagam, Thondaman and Rajadurai) and the leader of the opposition (A. Amirthalingam) were Tamils.
