Comms Down: Major Internet Outage On US East Coast

A blog post from a couple of days back contained a warning from Stewart Rhodes of the patriotic group, Oathkeepers, fingered by the FBI over the Capitol protest on January 6. Rhodes alerted his followers to be prepared for a “comms down” situation in the near term.

And here it is.

On January 26 [27th here in India], there was a major Internet outage from Washington DC to Boston:

“A major internet outage Tuesday from Washington, D.C., to Boston is affecting internet, cloud providers and a number of Google services and Facebook, according to the Associated Press.

Verizon reported via Twitter a cut fiber in Brooklyn, but it’s not clear whether that caused the entire outage. The telecom giant didn’t have any estimate when the problem spot would be fixed.”

 

 

FBI: Oathkeepers Linked To Jan 6 Arrests, Sedition

CINCINNATI (AP) — Federal authorities presented new details on Tuesday about three self-described members of a paramilitary group who are the first to be charged with plotting the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The FBI said a Virginia man, Thomas Edward Caldwell, appeared to be a leader of the effort. Caldwell and a man and woman from Ohio were all charged with conspiracy and other federal counts, the first of more than 125 people arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 assault to be charged with conspiracy.

The chilling details in the case included communications between the defendants and others.

“All members are in the tunnels under the capital,” the FBI quoted a message sent to Caldwell during the Capitol attack. “Seal them in turn on gas.”

Other messages referred to the legislators as “traitors” and called for “night hunting.”

The FBI collected social media messages, photos and video to identify them as part of the Oath Keepers, which believes in a “shadowy conspiracy” to strip Americans of their rights.

Messages included in FBI charging documents had quotes with the three suspects exulting over breaching the Capitol, and Caldwell telling an Oath Keepers leader he was ready to attack Ohio’s capital of Columbus.

“We need to do this at the local level,” he allegedly messaged. “Lets (sic) storm the capitol in Ohio. Tell me when!”

Details of the documents made public offer some insight to planning and coordination behind the extraordinary attack, which apparently took law enforcement by surprise despite various warnings online.

The Oath Keepers group often recruits current and former military, police or other first responders. Records show that Donovan Crowl, 50, served in the U.S. Marines. He was arrested along with Jessica Watkins, 38. Both are Champaign County, Ohio, residents. It wasn’t clear immediately whether either Caldwell or Watkins has military or law enforcement experience.

The FBI said some Oath Keepers members were wearing helmets, protective vests and items with the group’s name and motto: “Not On Our Watch.” The FBI also said that they seemed to “move in an organized and practiced fashion and force their way to the front of the crowd gathered around a door to the U.S. Capitol.”

An affidavit filed against Caldwell states that he was involved in the planning and coordinating of the Capitol breach with Watkins and Crowl. Watkins, who allegedly called herself the commanding officer, and Crowl allegedly belong to the Ohio State Regular Militia, dues-paying members of the Oath Keepers. In one social media post, the FBI said, Watkins pictured Crowl and called him “one of my guys.”

Oath Keepers: Prepare For Comms Down Environment

“As always, Oath Keepers stands in defense of the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. What is now being installed is not a constitutional government. It’s an illegitimate regime that has unjustly taken power through massive vote fraud, to install a ChiCom puppet who will do the bidding of a mortal enemy of this nation, as well as the bidding of international elites who are in allegiance and alliance with the CCP as they pursue a common goal of destroying our Republic and enslaving the American people.

Executive Summary:

  1. Prepare for a comms down/blackout environment. Obtain CB and HAM radios, fuel, food, etc
  2. Muster NOW in their county seat. Meet face to face and sort out grid down comms and who will be “Home Guard” and part of a “Family Safe” program to stay back and protect families, while also determining who can project out to protect and assist others.  Do it now before comms go down.
  3. Muster ASAP at state level, but NOT at state Capitol. The newly formed county units must Muster in a friendly “red” county to establish comms and leadership connections for future. Establish protocols in case of lights out/comms down.
  4. Beware of false flags and traps that are now being set. Be careful who you listen to and what events you attend. Expect attempts to lure you onto enemy controlled ground where they have time to set up false flags.
  5. Prepare to walk the same path as the Founding Fathers of condemnation of an illegitimate regime, nullification/mass non-compliance, defiance, mutual defense, and resistance. See Part II for more.

FOR PATRIOTS: 

Patriots, keep your powder dry, your head on a swivel, and your gear ready to roll at moments notice.

BE PREPARED TO MOVE.  TO ROLL.  But, also keep your cool.   It can be a tough balance, but you can do it.  Get right with the Lord, get your mind right, stay cool, but be ready.

Realize that there is a swirling storm of intentional disinformation, rumor-mill crap, and cooked up false-flags running at this time.  Be careful about who you trust for information, and remember, information is not the same thing as “intel.”   Even if someone is sincere and trustworthy (in the sense of not intending to mislead) they can still be passing on false info.

Also be careful about just jumping in on any advertised or organized “patriot” event – be it a protest or an armed march of any kind.  Expect false-flags and enemy orchestrated pied piper events and traps.  Do not rush head-long into such a “Buffalo Jump” as Navy SEAL veteran Matt Bracken calls them.”
