Gore Vidal WAS A Pedophile, Says Family

UPDATE

Further substantiating my accurate analysis that Vidal’s “anti-establishment” stance (including his “antiwar” stance) was not in anyway a principled objection to abusive power, notice from this report that he craved the status granted by elite institutions like Harvard (not having gone to college himself); notice that his hatred of the state was mixed with feelings of thwarted ambition because he’d always wanted to be president; notice that his anti-establishment rants were mingled with constant remembrances of status symbols and the upper-class gilded life to which he belonged and in which he reveled; notice the opulent life-style he lived (not that I have anything against that) and his $37 million estate); notice the deep alcoholism and madness in which he ended his life.

Now put against that the FACTS about Gandhi:

1. Was in excellent physical and mental condition late into life, when he was undergoing month-long fasts.

2. Was repeatedly offered leadership positions in the state and turned them down. Counseled against imitating Western state structures.

3.  Although once prosperous, gave away most of his belongings and was left with nothing more than a watch, his glasses, his loincloth and shawl, and a bowl out of which he ate.

4. Died not from alcoholism and insanity, but from a bullet delivered by an assassin. His last words were “He Ram” (Oh God).

No need to demonize Vidal, of course.

He was a talented, clever, witty man, who said many true things about history and government and he was a prolific, popular novelist of varying ability. He was a fine essayist, no doubt.

But he was also a compulsive  promiscuous pedophile (and most likely a child rapist) who publicly defended  other child rapists (Roman Polansky, Catholic priests).

He was nasty to friends and foes, envied others and relentlessly slandered them. He harbored demons to the end of his life that he was too weak to overcome. He deserved  the prayers and intervention of his friends and family in life, not the mindless adulation of strangers in death. He doubtless victimized scores of children, Thai children, whom we’ll never hear about. Safe Horizon, so exercised about the Indian nanny fake-slaver case should perhaps be called in about this compelling example of real child-sex tourism.

The American media can keep Gore Vidal for a hero. He fits their values.

I’d rather look among hundreds of unsung activists/writers for mine.

ORIGINAL POST

Gore Vidal’s family supports the long-standing rumors of Vidal’s pedophilia that I published here and that I decided, after analysis, were credible.

For that, this blog was hacked, and a week or so later, some spooky electronic harassment took place. I’m not really sure how that happened. I only know it took place.

I think I was alone among antiwar bloggers, most of whom praised Vidal to the skies, ignoring everything except the fact that his position on war was theirs.

I usually wouldn’t criticize a man on his death, but the universal praise of such a deeply flawed man, just after the contemptible and untruthful slurs against Gandhi, cried out to be corrected.

So here’s the post I wrote: Vidal, Polanksy and Kinsey, August 4, 2012.

In contrast, here’s Justin Raimondo’s piece “The Last Jeffersonian,” August 3, 2012

[I have always liked Raimondo’s investigative pieces on the Israeli lobby, one of the more dangerous areas for writers, so this isn’t meant as an attack on him.]

Here’s another libertarian Bill Kauffman on Vidal.

Now for the main points from the Daily Mail piece on Vidal:

“In a feature that appeared in the New York Times, Ms Straight – who had a ‘turbulent though close relationship’ with Vidal – said the openly-gay author had had sex with underage men.

“She described the alleged circumstances as ‘Jerry Sandusky acts’, referring to the former Penn State assistant football coach convicted of child molestation.

“Mr Steers – who directed the Zac Efron film Charlie St Cloud – said that conservative columnist William F. Buckley – who had a long-running public feud with Vidal, which also played out in court – had evidence linking Vidal to the alleged crimes.”

AND

“The New York Times article also says that the ever-opinionated Vidal had a strange and controversial take on the abuse perpetrated by Catholic priests.

“‘He would say that the young guys involved were hustlers who were sending signals,’ Mr Steers said.

[Lila: Based on this statement alone, I would give credibility to the charges against Vidal.]

“However the author of the article, Tim Teeman, wrote that ‘other friends of Mr. Vidal told me they doubted he had sex with underage men’.

“I”Vidal suffered from dementia and alcoholism towards the end of his life.

“Mr Steers said he would drink single male scotch ‘until he collapsed’.

Vidal also had ‘wet brain’ – proper name Wernicke-Korsakoff – a syndrome characterized by a number of symptoms, including confusion and hallucination.”

Vidal was not only a pedophile, it seems he beat up gays, so intense was his own self-loathing.

[Lila: I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not his “pedophilia” but his involvement in even worse – violence against  male child prostitutes that might be the real story and the “yes he was a pedophile” simply a diversion. After all, pedophilia apologias have already appeared in mainstream media, like The Atlantic.]

Consider the reverential treatment given to this insane, addicted, unpleasant man, who was a self-confessed pederast. His well-documented compulsive lifestyle was passed over in silence by the establishment media, since he was “one of them,” from the ruling class.

But of Gandhi, a man who fought his devils all his life bravely, with the utmost candor, and engaged, successfully or not, in one of the biggest social upheavals in modern history,  the same media has recently had nothing but scurrilous and easily discredited innuendo.

Malicious critics called him a bisexual pedophile molester, based on deliberate falsification and exaggeration of historical evidence. They called him a hypocrite, whereas the truth was he was compulsively open to his critics, even begging them to write the worst they knew about him.

Why so much venom? Because Gandhi was Indian and the media in the West has over the last two years been engaged in a systematic campaign of vilification and half-truths against India, along with literal provocations, as I’ve amply documented.

While Vidal,  a hero of  modern liberals, lived in terror of the truth about himself coming out, Gandhi courageously reported every passing sexual feeling in his diaries, urged his critics to say the worst about him that they could, and berated himself endlessly for even mental failures of continence.

Here’s more about  the new claims about Vidal:

“Vidal accused Buckley of being a “crypto-Nazi”; Buckley responded by labelling Vidal a “queer” and telling him to stop his insults or Buckley would “sock [him] in the goddamn face”.

Their argument ended up in the courts, where Buckley first lost an expensive lawsuit against Vidal for libel, before winning a settlement from a magazine that republished Vidal’s written attack years later.

Vidal once estimated he had slept with 1,000 men before he was 25, and boasted of having had sex with Fred Astaire, Rock Hudson and Noel Coward, according to Mr Teeman.

While enjoying a 53-year relationship with his long-term partner, Howard Austen, before Austen’s death in 2003, he wrote in his 1995 memoir, Palimpsest, that he was “attracted to adolescent males”…….

…Buckley’s son, Christopher, has said that while clearing out his late father’s study, he found a file labelled “Vidal Legal”, which he threw into a dumpster…….

An unidentified “longtime friend” of Vidal’s added that the author had once shocked a guest at his home in Ravello, Italy, by announcing: “You know I’m a pederast”.

This friend focused on Vidal’s time spent in Bangkok, Thailand, a city notorious for its sex trade. “He did go to Thailand every year, and he was definitely having sex with male prostitutes there, and they weren’t older male prostitutes,” the friend said.”

Evil people lie about good people for one principal reason – vanity.

They cannot stand being shown up by anything or anyone better than they are.  A couple of years ago, the Catholic Archbishop of Philadelphia, wrote about the profound intolerance of sin for anything that rebukes it, in an essay, “Evil preaches tolerance only when it’s weak.”

So also lies cannot tolerate truth.

But  the world is not built on lies.  And man cannot live on lies.

At the end, when the mud and the bile and the envious distortions of petty men have had their day, the truth will be vindicated.

What’s wrong with Hans Hoppe…(random thinking aloud)

Update:

Hoppe clarifies his views and DENIES that he is a supporter of monarchy:

Loved by the good guys, hated by the bad (Lew Rockwell,  May 20, 2014)

“It favorably contrasts traditional, pre-constitutional monarchies and kings to modern democracies and prime ministers or presidents – a thesis that likely appears only slightly less alien to contemporary Brazilian or Portuguese ears than it does to US-Americans’. But the book is not a defense of monarchy. Rather, it advocates a “withering away” of the state altogether, whether monarchic or democratic, and its successive replacement by a private law society, a “natural order.” And as suitable means to this end it advocates decentralization and secession – highly contentious issues in the history especially also of Brazil. ”

So there’s that.  I plan to keep an open mind.  It’s also possible, after all, that  Mr. Hoppe might not know the uses to which his thinking could be put.

ORIGINAL POST

WARNING NON-PC THINKING ALOUD. READ AT YOUR PERIL

…..is not his views about gays, Hindus, communists, or anyone else.

Hoppe is right that there is no liberty, unless one is free to associate with whomever one chooses.

However…

1.  One is not free to take tax-money (as he does, being addicted to the public academic trough) from people of all sorts of persuasions (gays, Hindus etc.)…. and then advocate secession from their embrace, WITHOUT COMPENSATION.

2. One is a hypocrite of quite a high order to make a living from an institution that one regularly denounces as untenable and immoral (Block and Hoppe both work for public institutions and always have).

Gary North, to give him credit, at least has his money where his mouth is – he makes his living in the private sector.

3. Hoppe’s arguments (argumentation ethics and IP socialism) are just bad, as I’ve shown on my blog, admittedly in a piecemeal fashion, but, hey, I don’t think they’re worth rebutting,, since they’ve been rebutted many, many times by fine scholars in the field. Google it.

4. Hoppe’s arguments about gays and time-preference are plain wrong, no matter where you stand on homosexuals.  The idea that gays don’t save as much as heteros is laughable, as anyone who’s had gay friends would know.

Your average upstanding hetero  with “the full catastrophe” of wife and kids, in Zorba’s immortal words, has no “time preference” at all.

He’s a consumption addict, not because of his sexuality, alas, but because of government-real estate industry propaganda.

So, the real source of distorted time preferences is not sexuality, perverse or otherwise, but ADVERTISING and PROPAGANDA, the first of which will certainly not disappear in Hoppe’s corporate-worshiping vision.

I could go on…but why bother?

Hoppe looks to me to be a front man for a strange mix of white nationalists who’ve renounced their brethren and bought their way into media acceptability by teaming up with left-libs in a marriage of convenience so strange its gives them laryngitis on a number of things….(sigh)

The fact is corporations act just like states, and, in the absence of states, will manufacture their own legitimacy – which is where Mr. Hoppe comes in.

Mr. Hoppe looks to me to be about manufacturing legitimacy for absolute monarchy.

I suspect his is the first toe in the water. In a few years, with the coming of the suitable member of the British royalty – now intermarried with the Rothschilds, who claim, British-Israelite fashion, to be the true heirs to the throne of David   ….we will know how many pieces of silver….or gold…were involved in this particular betrayal of conscience.

Jean Raspail: sage dystopia or severe diplopia?

At Zobenigo blog, Jean Raspail’s gloriously muddle-headed dystopia about the destruction of a virginal Europe by inchoate brown masses (the yellow peril recycled) gets a keen rebuttal:
“The reasons for the popularity of Le Camp des saints are easy enough to decode. Here’s the novel’s synopsis from the usual place:

The story begins in Bombay, India, where the Dutch government has announced a policy that Indian babies will be adopted and raised in the Netherlands. The policy is reversed when the Dutch consulate is inundated with parents eager to give up their infant children as it would be one less mouth to feed. An Indian “wise man” then rallies the masses to make a mass exodus to live in Europe. Most of the story centers on the French Riviera, where almost no one remains except for the military and a few civilians, including a retired professor who has been watching the huge fleet of run down freighters approaching the French coast. The story alternates between the French reaction to the mass immigration and the attitude of the immigrants. They have no desire to assimilate into French culture but want the plentiful food and water that are in short supply their native India. Near the end of the story the mayor of New York City is made to share Gracie Mansion with three families from Harlem, the Queen of England must agree to have her son marry a Pakistani woman, and only one drunken Soviet soldier stands in the way of thousands of Chinese people as they swarm into Siberia.

In short, it’s the OYPA — the old yellow peril alarm — all over again.THE OYPA seems a weird beast to me since I have spent all my life being bored with the familiar and seeking out out the exotic as its antidote. I welcome Asian immigration on several grounds: first, the wonderfully zany Indians seem a million times more interesting to me than the predictable familiar boring French, whom I have no reason to love anyway; certainly, on average, Pakistani women are prettier than the English; the food they bring is more tasty; etc.

I therefore cannot fit into my head: why would not everyone else feel the same way?

What is more interesting about Jean Raspail’s brain is that it appears to be internally split: while writing his Dantean yellow perilist visions about foreigners flooding (and destroying) good old France, he simultaneously writes other books of scathing criticism of the very same modern France as a rotten perversion of its former self. He is a monarchist to the core and writes movingly about the spark of divinity which resides in the person of the king; his inviolability and irreplacability; the dire consequences of regicide; the lack of proper legitimacy in the person of a merely elected President; lack of authority; lack of respect for authority; etc. This is not merely a political fantasy: Jean Raspail senses that there is something deeply and fundamentally rotten about modern French (and, more generally, European) culture (about which he is probably right) and seeks its causes in the abolition of the monarchy two hundred years ago (I withhold my opinion).

But then he defends that very same rotten France against subversion by foreigners. Why? If France is rotten, then, heck, why not let it sink?

This is known to psychologists as cognitive dissonance.”

God-father of Rothbardian libertarians was CIA source?

Update 2:

I found this in Calvin Kephart’s writings about his ancestor Weisel (Calvin was Robert Kephardt’s father):

“Thus, the armorial insignia of the barons in the First Crusade are the very oldest in Europe, older than those of any royal family unless a king later descended from one of these barons. They were self-designed and self-adopted and were not granted by any prince. Many had the cross in the design because of the religious aspect of this adventure; others did not. All were simple in style.

We have not yet learned whether our Weisel ancestor was among the knights in the First Crusade. If so, then this coat-of-arms dates from that time. If not, then it was designed and adopted only a generation or two later (probably by 1150), when thousands of other noble families were finding it desirable to do so, for uses in both peace and war. With this historic setting, it is a noble heritage, distinct from all others, and is the emblem of the Weisel clan in the same way that Old Glory is the emblem of the American people as a nation. Its use today is mainly sentimental, chiefly for ornamental purposes, but because of its great age and its meaning it should be prized and be preserved among our other family traditions. ”

Update 2

Several people named on the list have criticized John Young for publishing the Crowley files, claiming that since the names are often the same as those listed at the professional organization for former intelligence officers (AFIO) their publication must constitute a violation of copyright, as well as an invasion of privacy.

John Young, to his credit, has not given in to the criticism and has continued to run the files at his site.

However, Daniel Brandt, creator of the news archive, NameBase.org, says the names listed at Cryptome include many people who were not sources but simply aficionados of intelligence.  However, even on his terms (see below), Kephart’s name does seem to merit its entry.

UPDATE:

For evidence that the Robert D. Kephart listed at Cryptome.org is the same Robert D. Kephart who  was the editor of Human Events and the godfather of the organizational end of Rothbardian libertarianism, I offer the following:

1.http://www.ancientfaces.com/person/robert-d-kephart/30649469

“Robert D Kephart 1922 – 2004 was a member of the Kephart family. Robert was born on March 31, 1922. Robert died on October 14, 2004 at 82 years old. Robert D. Kephart’s last known residence is at Faber, Nelson County, VA 22938.”

Cryptome lists Kephart’s address as a PO Box in Faber, Va.

http://www.crow96.20m.com/

2. The obituaries published by Liberty magazine and  Human Events give the same death date for Robert D. Kephart.

3. Friends refer to Robert D. Kephart’s helmsmanship and days in the US navy.

4. The Crowley files themselves mention a Robert Kephart of Human Events and a US Navy Commander Kephart whom they list together. I understood this to be an aggregation of all references to the same person in the files.

5. Evaluation of the Crowley list by Daniel Brandt. Brandt says that the list cannot be considered in any way an accurate list of CIA sources and includes a number of people who were merely interested in intelligence issues or approved of the use of intelligence by the US.

He matched the names against the AFIO (Association of Former Intelligence Officers) directory and listed the ones that did NOT show up. Kephart’s name is not on his list. It follows that Kephart’s name is on the AFIO list, which has gone back behind a password.

If I am in anyway in error in identifying Robert D. Kephart of Human Events as a CIA source, I welcome you to send this blog contradictory information.  You can do so anonymously, with a request not to publish the post, which I will honor.

I do not respond to private emails.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE

I’ll begin with something related.

There was a revelatory post at Lew Rockwell about how Russell Kirk, the godfather of the American conservative movement, was on the payroll of the CIA for a short while.

QUOTE::

“You know, Russell Kirk, his writings both before and after he went on the Buckley payroll are quite wonderful on foreign policy.  During the period he was on the payroll, unfortunately, they were just like everybody else.”

This fascinating assertion wasn’t documented in any way, although I think on its face it’s quite credible. The unpalatable fact is that almost all prominent figures in the media or academics then and even now are co-opted in some fashion by the intelligence agencies.

Some wittingly, some unwittingly.

Anyway, in looking for further evidence for the Kirk-was-CIA story, I ran into passages from Murray Rothbard’s “Betrayal of the American Right” on the history of the subversion of the old right:

“In the light of hindsight, we should now ask whether or not a major objective of National Review from its inception was to transform the right wing from an isolationist to global warmongering anti-Communist movement; and, particularly, whether or not the entire effort was in essence a CIA operation. We now know that Bill Buckley, for the two years prior to establishing National Review, was admittedly a CIA agent in Mexico City, and that the sinister E. Howard Hunt was his control. His sister Priscilla, who became managing editor of National Review, was also in the CIA; and other editors James Burnham and Willmoore Kendall had at least been recipients of CIA largesse in the anti-Communist Congress for Cultural Freedom. In addition, Burnham has been identified by two reliable sources as a consultant for the CIA in the years after World War II.[10] Moreover, Garry Wills relates in his memoirs of the conservative movement that Frank Meyer, to whom he was close at the time, was convinced that the magazine was a CIA operation. With his Leninist-trained nose for intrigue, Meyer must be considered an important witness.

Furthermore, it was a standard practice in the CIA, at least in those early years, that no one ever resigned from the CIA. A friend of mine who joined the agency in the early 1950s told me that if, before the age of retirement, he was mentioned as having left the CIA for another job, that I was to disregard it, since it would only be a cover for continuing agency work. On that testimony, the case for NR being a CIA operation becomes even stronger. Also suggestive is the fact that a character even more sinister than E. Howard Hunt, William J. Casey, appears at key moments of the establishment of the New over the Old Right. It was Casey who, as attorney, presided over the incorporation of National Review and had arranged the details of the ouster of Felix Morley from Human Events.”

At least here, Rothbard doesn’t mention Kirk.

Nonetheless, confirmed or merely a suspicion, the story only adds more fuel to the widespread belief that most of the American media is infiltrated by intelligence.

I’ve suspected that and blogged as much, as you can see from this post which compiles a few of the relevant links.

What Rothbard and Rockwell don’t mention though is that it was not just the conservative movement.

There’s a good deal of evidence that the CIA is also behind a large part of the libertarian movement. I’ve blogged about that several times.

What I haven’t blogged until now is that one of the godfathers of American libertarianism is listed as a CIA source or informant.

That is Robert D.  Kephart, who died in 2004. He was the publisher of the conservative magazine, Human Events from 1968-1975.

He later became a very influential libertarian. Perhaps one of the most, from the point of view of organizing the movement.

You can find Kephart’s name listed at Cryptome.org in the Crowley files, as one of scores of CIA sources (a source is not an agent but a figure who keeps the intelligence services posted on what’s going on and how to keep it in line with the agenda of the Agency).

More here on Kephart and his ties to the whole Agora Inc. – Lew Rockwell- Mises Institute world of Rothbardians.:

“He [Kephart] was a publisher of Human Events and an early supporter of Laissez Faire Books, the world’s largest publisher of books on libertarian topics. He founded Libertarian Review magazine and Books for Libertarians in the 1970s, influencing thousands of young people who became advocates of a free society. He was dedicated to the cause of liberty.”

Laissex-faire books is now owned by Agora Inc.  and it employs former Mises scholar Jeffrey Tucker and Independent Institute scholar Wendy McElroy, both also Rothbardians from a long while back.

Kephart’s father Calvin Ira Kephart was a Southern historian, reportedly of a racist bent.

Calvin Kephart is described as a fierce opponent of the civil rights movement, an opponent of racial integration, a believer in the superiority and inferiority of races and a deep believer in eugenics.

He spent a lot of time tracing his aristocratic lineage.

Son Bob, a US naval commander, was a close friend of Rothbard himself, as well as of Lew Rockwell and of leading figures in the libertarian and hard money community,  and  John Pugsley of Agora Inc’s, Sovereign Society.

Bill Bonner, owner of Agora Inc. was a close friend of Kephart and called him the father of the newsletter business.

More specifically, this is how Kephart ties in to the libertarian movement:

First, Kephart was influential in the survivalist community,  a fringe but important part of modern American anti-state thinking.

Survivalists have had their share of intelligence infiltration. A prominent survivalist, Joel Skousen, is the older brother of Mark Skousen, who is closely associated with Agora Inc. and was himself once on the CIA payroll.

Joel Skousen was formerly in the US air-force and has been an editor of various Conservative magazines. One can only speculate how free of Agency influence he could be, especially since the Skousens are  nephews of Cleon Skousen, a conservative commentator and a racist/racialist historian who was for several years a  senior FBI agent.

Interestingly, Joel Skousen was originally a Romney supporter but later switched his support to Ron Paul.

Second. Another nexus of the libertarian movement with intelligence is through Ron Paul, also a Kephart associate.

Paul has a long-standing association with Agora Inc., which published and promoted his newsletters for decades. This, rather than the over-blown “racist” news-letter business is the real untold story, since Agora Inc. has multiple ties to intelligence and intelligence-related stock operations.

Third. Kephart was also the editor of The Libertarian Review and played a prominent role in the development of American libertarianism as a movement, though he kept in the background (maybe because of his role as an informant).

A short list of the outfits to which he “provided guidance” (as a CIA informant) include:

“For many years he has generously provided guidance and funding for a long list of organizations, including Families Against Mandatory Minimums, Forfeiture Endangers American Rights, Human Rights Watch, Institute for Justice, National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, Post-Conviction Relief, and the American Civil Liberties Union. He has also been a benefactor to organizations working for economic liberty and general restrictions on government power. These include the Foundation for Economic Education, Cato Institute, Future of Freedom Foundation, R.A. Childs Fund for Independent Scholars, and Separation of School and State Alliance.”

Many of these outfits have played a large role in promoting both Edward Snowden and Julian Assange, to the consternation of independent bloggers and activists, who have long since concluded that the two are intelligence-related operatives.

Let’s just say the CIA continues to “give guidance.”

A fourth point tying Kephart to the New World Order, with its British Israelite and masonic underpinnings, is his father.

(Correction: While he did write a history of masonry, he seems to have repudiated British Israelism. He was also an isolationist on WW2, from what I’ve read. It’s also fair to note that eugenics was advocated by many intellectuals, right and left, from Yeats to the Fabians. And, finally, Kephart’s racial notions cannot, of course, be judged by the standards of today. They were widely held).

Calvin Ira Kephart, was, as I said earlier in this blog post, a scientific racist, a Southern historian and anthropologist of race who was a passionate advocate of eugenics to create a master race and  euthanasia for the mentally handicapped or otherwise “defective.”

He opposed the civil rights movement and wanted blacks shipped backed to Africa. He was also, fascinatingly,  a masonic historian.

That’s the toxic environment from which the god-father of the libertarian movement developed:

“By 1932 Kephart had begun this research, which culminated in his lengthy book,Races of Mankind: Their Origin and Migration , published in 1960 by the Philosophical Library in New York.In this work Kephart claimed to have written the definitive “ethnographic” book on the development of “advanced and retarded races.” The collection also includes advertisements for this book as well as his Concise History of Freemasonry (1964); his short pamphlets TrueChristianity andOrigin of the Name “Russia”; an article in support of eugenics, entitled “World Population Explosion”; a few reviews of his books and articles; and nine letters to the editor from 1961 to 1968, seven published in the Evening Capital of Annapolis Maryland. In most of these letters and other writings Kephart expressed his extreme right-wing views—his fierce opposition to racial integration and the civil rights movement; support for the repatriation of African-Americans to Africa; and advocacy of the forced sterilization of the insane, the mentally retarded, prisoners, prostitutes, and women who had one or more illegitimate children.”

This doesn’t mean, of course, that Bob Kephart himself believed any of his father’s theories.

But it should make anyone who finds some echoes of this kind of thing in Rothbard’s writing or his promotion of the theories of Charles Murray look very closely at the assumptions and consequences of this “anarchist” way of thinking.

To what does it really tend?

What might be the underlying agenda of anti-state capitalism which has the benediction of a CIA informant?

What might it mean that that informant was the son of a genuine scientific racist and eugenicist, not just someone exercising his first amendment right to mouth rude epithets on the fringes, but someone whose thinking was no different from that of any Nazi theorist.

Final point.

Bob Kephart also came together in the 1970s with Murray Rothbard and two individuals who have been separately linked to intelligence themselves:

1. Noam Chomsky (alleged by John Coleman and other journalists to be deep-cover CIA)

2. James Dale Davidson,  founder of Agora Inc., and founder of the anti-tax National Tax-payer’s Union,  who is alleged to have been involved in intelligence-related stock-pumping, from several accounts.

He is linked to Rothschild journalist Rees-Mogg, also of Agora Inc.

NWO Psyop? Reserve Bank Governor affirms Indian citizenship

Update:

On looking through the website from which I got the information about the new RBI governor,  I began to have a few second thoughts. Although, it appears to be an anti-NWO website, some of  the information on it (besides the story about Rajan)  seems baseless or exaggerated.

I don’t know enough to say, but caveat lector.

ORIGINAL POST

I posted earlier that the new governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Raghuram Rajan, has been described by the English language media itself as an Indian and US national, and asked how that could be, as India doesn’t allow dual citizenship.

On October 29 Rajan came out clearly with a statement that he was and is an Indian citizen and only holds a US Green Card (work and permanent residence permit).

That was in The Hindu, which I’ve said before, has been very left-leaning and sympathetic to globalism, both under the chief editorship of N. Ram and under ex-editor,  Siddharth Varadarajan, brother of Tunku Varadarajan, contributing editor at the Wall Street Journal and vocal neocon.

Now, notice the comments under The Hindu piece, attacking those media outlets that raised the question of Rajan’s nationality.

The idea is that any criticism of Rajan must come from the BJP and anti-foreign xenophobes. They are dismissed as paranoid because they jumped to the conclusion that Rajan was a US citizen when he clearly wasn’t.

The implication is that everything else the BJP claims – including conspiracies about the globalists –  must be nonsense too.

Well, BJP or not,  Rajan’s citizenship is a very legitimate issue to raise, especially, as it was the Rothschild media that put out that information in the first place.

Let me show you.

Go back to my earlier blog post.

The piece I posted before linked to an anti-NWO blog,  GreatGameIndia.wordpress.com. The graphic accompanying the post clearly described Rajan as an Indian and an American national.

That makes it a legitimate question for people to raise.

Take a look at the graphic here:

http://greatgameindia.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/raghuram-rajan-new-world-order.jpg

It was taken from The New Indian Express:

http://newindianexpress.com/business/news/Rajan-says-RBI-governorship-not-meant-to-win-Facebook-likes/2013/09/05/article1769127.ece

Since the globalists (British imperialists) like to leave their signature on their capers, they also had Rajan quoting Kipling (the premier poet of the British Empire):

“But I hope to do the right thing, no matter what the criticism, even while looking to learn from the criticism,” Rajan said.

“Rudyard Kipling put it better when he mused about the requirements of an ideal central banker in his poem ‘If’: If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too: Kipling’s reference to “men” only dates these lines, but his words are clear.”

Check out the picture in the New Indian Express, which is the one carried at GreatGameIndia.

It clearly carries a description of Rajan as an American national. It also carries the logo PTI on the side of the picture.

That’s the Press Trust of India.

Now, what is the Press Trust of India?

It’s board of directors is comprised of editors of some of the leading publications in India, including The Hindu.

Here is a list of everyone on the Board, taken from the PTI’s own website (my descriptions are colored and in caps):

So,  The Hindu’s editor and a dozen other leading press men are on the board of directors of the very outfit that put out the information that Rajan was an American national (which means citizen).

And what is the rest of the board like?

Out of 12 newspapers or media outfits represented there, fully SIX are based in South India, and all six belong to just two states in the South (Kerala and Tamil Nadu).

Both states are closely tied to the West

1. Through ideology – communist Kerala and corporatist Tamil Nadu

2. Through history – British intervention in South Indian secessionist movements

3. Through the English language – more prevalent in the South than in the North

4. Through finance –  especially in Chennai and Bangalore, the site of massive Western investment

5. Through religion – the church and church related organizations are both wealthy and powerful in Kerala and in Tamil Nadu.

Six newspapers from two states, while the rest of India’s 28 states are represented by one Delhi urban  paper and one Bombay paper run by a Parsi (Parsis as a community have historically been affiliated with the British empire); one international outfit (Bennett Coleman); and just TWO Hindi papers.

The weighting toward Tamil Nadu, the home of the globalist-funded Afro-Dravidian secessionist movement, is striking, and it bolsters Rajiva Malhotra’s thesis in “Breaking India.

After the issue was raised by politicians, Rajan gave an interview in The Hindu (owned by the same N. Ram on the PTI’s board) affirming that he wasn’t an American citizen.

Comments from readers at The Hindu (and you know how they can be manipulated) claim it’s the paranoia, incompetence, and bigotry of the right-wing BJP that’s behind the whole issue.

So how could the  Press Trust of India be associated with any kind of globalist agenda?

Isn’t it just a national outfit?

Back to Wikipedia:

“It [PTI] exchanges information with several other news agencies including 100 news agencies based outside India, such as Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, The New York Times and Bloomberg L.P.. Major Indian subscribers of PTI include The Hindu, Times of India, the Indian Express, the Hindustan Times, the All India Radio and Doordarshan. PTI has offices in Bangkok, Beijing, Colombo, Dubai, Islamabad, Kuala Lumpur, Moscow, New York and Washington D.C..[3]

In other words, PTI has a  thoroughly global network, with a distinctly international point of view, at the very least. At worst, it’s a regional mouthpiece for the “international community.”

Whichever the case,  PTI is hardly a disinterested vendor of “news.” After all, what is deemed to be news is, in the first place, a very value-laden and political choice.

More from Wikipedia:

“PTI correspondents are also based in leading capitals and important business and administrative centres around the world. It also has exchange arrangements with several foreign news agencies to magnify its global news footprint.”

In other words, PTI is in business with foreign news agencies, which are, as anti-NWO activists have shown, owned by a small group of Anglo-Zionist business interests, just six companies, in fact.

These are the six, with their most notable properties:

1. General Electric  or GE (owns Universal Pictures, Focus Features)

2. Viacom (owns MTV, NICK JR, BET, CMT, Paramount Pictures)

Majority owner – Sumner Redstone (born Sumner Murray Rothstein)

Wikipedia:

“Viacom is one of the companies that uses the services of Wiki-PR, a public relations firm specialized in editing of Wikipedia that is accused of subverting Wikipedia content for business interest.[27]”

3. Disney (owns ABC, ESPN, Pixar, Miramax, Marvel Studios)

Disney is publicly owned and its CEO was until recently Michael Eisner.

4. Time Warner (owns HBO, Time, Warner Bros, CNN)

Owned by Edgar Bronfman, who until recently (2011) was the CEO.

5. Columbia Broadcast Corporation or CBS (owns Jeopardy, Sixty Minutes, NFL.com (National Football League), Smithsonian Channel, Showtime, Simon & Schuster)

Majority owner – Sumner Rothstein

6. News Corp (owns Fox, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, The Sunday Times, Times Literary Supplement, Dow Jones & Co., HarperCollins)

Created and owned by Rupert Murdoch, in 2012 turned into publicly traded companies, with Murdoch as CEO and with controlling shares.

News Corp owns the top newspapers on three continents (including but not limited to The Wall Street Journal in the US, The Sun in the UK, and The Australian, in Oz.

The 232 executives at these companies control the views of about 277 million people in the US alone, not to mention their enormous influence over the world.

In addition, there are powerful single individuals like Samuel Newhouse, who owns 2 dozen daily newspapers, the publishing companies like Random House, Knopf, Crown, Ballantine, and the Conde Nast group of magazines (including Vanity Fair, Vogue, GQ, The New Yorker)

The de facto ownership of almost all of these media conglomerates is, at the risk of coming across as anti-Semitic, Jewish and Zionist.

Murdoch, as is well-known, rose to his position with help from the Rothschilds.

[Bronfman has Rothschild ties

The Bronfman family is very active in Zionist causes:

“”The Bronfmans still move in an elegant world where the fabulously rich mingle with the powerful and famous. Edgar Jr.’s aunt Minda married a French banker with Rothschild ties and became a baroness. His father belongs to that small circle of New Yorkers who can get Presidents to answer their telephone calls. Edgar Jr.’s friends include the director Steven Spielberg and Senator Thomas Daschle.

One of the reasons the Bronfman dynasty has retained a glittering aura is that family members, though rich, have never been content to sit on their wealth and watch the world from afar. Edgar Sr. became president of the World Jewish Congress and exposed former United Nations Secretary General Kurt Waldheim’s Nazi past. His brother, Charles, is one of the founders of Birthright Israel, which pays for young Jewish people to visit the country. Now, however, the family may have to scale back its philanthropic endeavors because of what happened to Vivendi. “It hasn’t [affected my charitable giving] yet,” says Edgar Sr. darkly, “but it will.”

Every one of these media conglomerates is thus ultimately associated with the Rothschild (imperial British) entity.

Do you suppose PTI, alone among major international media,  defies the diktat of the press barons of the world? I don’t think so.

Not only that, PTI has its own satellite network according to Wikipedia:

“Press Trust of India is the only news agency in South Asia which operates its own communication satellite , an INSAT , to broadcast news and information.”

So PTI is not just a national outfit. It is a powerful international news outfit, the post-Independence heir to the Rothschild media in India. It has a bevy of Indian editors on board, with a heavy concentration from South India (the locus of foreign investment, as well as of foreign intervention), with strong business ties with the international (that is, Rothschild) press; it has its own satellite network.

Any chance PTI is NOT a globalist mouthpiece?

I’d say none whatsoever.

Now, who is the chairman of PTI?

Wikipedia again:

I”ts current chairman is R Lakshmipathy.

An Economic Times piece describes R. Lakshmipathy, as the publisher of the Tamil daily, Dinamalar, and twice earlier the chairman of PTI.

The chairman before him was M. P. Veerendrakumar, also from a southern state, this time,  Kerala (Matrubhoomi newspaper).

There’s yet another South Indian connection.

All these Tamil papers are strongly supportive of Tamil secession.

Vice chairman Shankthakumar also represents the south, in his case, the Deccan Herald and some Kannada papers.

So PTI is tremendously slanted toward the south and to corporate investment (Chennai and Bangalore).

Tamil Nadu, as I’ve said repeatedly, is the locus for the globalist intervention intended to fracture India. Whatever one thinks of secession, it must be voluntary, not covertly manufactured by people with their own agenda.

Otherwise, its proper name is manipulation and aggression.

Given all this, is the Rajan story just an innocent blunder by the media?

No. To me it looks like a Rothschild psyop intended to discredit any criticism of Rajan as Hindu fundamentalist obfuscation.

The story looks just like the Obama birth certificate story, where the object of the media psyop was to discredit anyone who “fell” for the word of a  racist sheriff, deliberately inserted into public debate by the major media.

[Another example of this kind of media psyop was the Trayvon Martin business, where dozens of libertarian and conservative sites rose to the bait and looked like racists as a result. Of course, a few of them really are, but that’s another story.]

Illuminati announce their party platform

I ran into a British blog called armageddonconspiracy.uk that purports to be the platform of  Illuminism.

Instead of bashing the illumined ones and the rationalist enlightenment, the blog claims that Illuminism is the ONLY answer to the Old World Order.

It’s message is that no thinking person should fight the New World Order, since it’s infinitely preferable to fight the Old World Order. That would be the Old World Order of the Satanic Abrahamic god and  Zionist capitalism.

The site addresses itself to everyone who hates the monotheistic religions (Islam, Christianity, Judaism).

It addresses itself ostentatiously to the pagan world.  It tells you to stop looking for God and become God yourself.

Wake up your inner Lucifer.

What, according to the blog, is the Illuminati platform?

First, it abhors democracy, which it calls dumbocracy.

It ridicules monarchy.

It claims Star Wars as its inspiration.

It calls itself MERITOCRACY and it proposes a 100 percent inheritance tax as the means by which society is leveled.

In essence, the Illuminist platform demands that society proceed to a total technocracy, ruled by those who win the meritocratic race.

Undefined, of course, is how merit will be defined.

And who will define it.

All inheritance taxes will go to educate the public, which has the right to any surplus you’ve accumulated at the time of your death.

The blog decries Occupy Wall Street as ineffectual street theater, yet its language (1% versus 99%) comes straight out of Occupy.

The blog claims to propose a new revolution, yet its proposals sound like the old revolution,  the communist revolution.

100% taxation is just nine percent more than what Mark Ames  of the commie rag eXile called for a couple of years ago.

If Mark Ames is the New World Order, go back to sleep.

The blog uses the short-hand of populist anger at the 2008 bail-outs, short-hand  like “too big to fail,” “casino capitalism,” and “the richest 400.”  It co-opts that anger.

It makes “the people” (the social collective) the judge and jury of everything.

The blog decries the testosterone of  “free-racket” capitalism and praises the oestrogen-laden future world of “social capitalism”  – which is the best of socialism and capitalism combined.

Maybe that’s why the Daily Mail, a middle-class tabloid with a long history of war-mongering on behalf of imperialism came out recently with a piece entitled, “Why men need women’s hormones’ too,” Sept. 12, 2013.

But it was the Mail which also ran reports that oestrogen from the Pill was finding its way into the water supply and contributing to the decline of the male libido. That was in a piece that ended with dire warnings about global warming (“Fertility time-bomb found in drinking water”)

The Daily Mail is owned by Viscount Rothermere, a big supporter of David Cameron.

Under the current Viscount’s grand-father, the Mail was a supporter of Oswald Mosley and Hitler and urged ordinary Britons into war repeatedly.

Meanwhile, Rothermere himself, like his predecessors,  pays not a dime in taxes to the government on whose behalf he propagandizes.

So that’s who wants  oestrogen to be the chemical of the NWO.

And maybe that’s why we have  books announcing the rise of oestrogen, like Hanna Rosin’s “The End of Men.”

This is eco-feminism, the goddess caper.

And sure enough,  there’s also the mandatory bit on the blog about “oxytocin,” the cooperative chemical. The bonding chemical.

Oxytocin was branded the “emotional super-power” of women, in Naomi Wolf’s NWO advertisement, “Vagina.”

[Wolf branded   “dopamine,” the “Goddess” chemical.]

Diagnosis?

Yet another Rothschild-funded website, telling you what to think and where to go.

What’s the joke?

See how easy it is to get from “the Illuminati are evil” to “Come, sign up with the Illuminati.”

The joke is also how many of those anti-Illuminati anti-NWO activists were always just NWO fronts…

If this blog states its case plainly,  it’s because fronts aren’t needed anymore.

The mask is off.

You are now officially in the Illumined world.

That was what that recent Salon piece was all about, “The elite’s strange plot to take over the world,” Sept. 20, 2013

It admitted that the conspiracists were right all along…..

Globalist Rajan chairs Reserve Bank of India (Updated)

Update 2:

On October 29, in response to a firestorm around his appointment, Rajan denied he’s an American citizen and says he only has a green card. For my analysis of the whole episode as a psyop, see this post.

Update:

I noticed that the picture of Rajan on the blog describes him as an American and an Indian citizen. This is spurious.

While the US allows dual citizenship, India does not. Rajan could not be an Indian citizen and still be an American citizen. The description is intentionally misleading.

India offers the category of OCI or Overseas Citizen of India, which is NOT citizenship proper, since it does not let you have an Indian passport or an Indian vote. It just gives parity in the field of employment and investment and obviates the need to register with the police every year.

Rajan is a US citizen, not an Indian, and he’s in charge of the RBI! That is simply incredible.

Original post:

GreatGameIndia..com describes how the American who heads the Reserve Bank of India is being given rock-star treatment by the Rothschild media.

Why not? He’s on a mission for the globalists – driving Indians out of the agricultural sector to make way for the multinationals:

“Welcomes don’t get much warmer than this—especially not for central bankers. But Raghuram Rajan, the new governor of the Reserve Bank of India, is being treated like a Rockstar by the media and a savior by the markets.

In his first briefing since taking office as governor on Sept. 4, Rajan announced plans to bolster the financial sector and support the rupee. None of the measures were ground-breaking, but the reaction was exuberant. The Economic Times, India’s leading financial newspaper, sketched Rajan as James Bond, replete with a sharp suit and a gun made out of rupee notes.

Never mind his American citizenship nor the various prestigious organizations he is associated with such as University of Chicago, World Bank, US Federal Reserve Board, Swedish Parliamentary Commission, American Finance Association, International Monetary Fund (IMF) etc. However, one distinct accolade that he has earned is the entry into an elite group of economist czars called the Group of Thirty or just G30 very recently last year just before becoming the Bank Boss of India. For the scope of this article we’ll need to dwell a bit on the background of G30.

History of Group of Thirty G30

The Group of 30 is a Rockefeller-sponsored group of leading Central Bankers and academics a Washington, D.C. based institution which counts as its members many of the more powerful banks and financial institutions in the world. The Group of Thirty, chaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul VoIcker, includes the current heads of the Bank of France, the Bank of Tokyo, the Bank of Italy, the Bank of Israel, the former head of the German Bundesbank and now even the Reserve Bank of India. Also represented are many of the top commercial and investment banks, including Citicorp, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, the Industrial Bank of Japan, and J. Rothschild International Assurance Holdings.

The Group of Thirty is, in short, a mouthpiece for the international financial operatives who created the speculative bubble that is now exploding. It is a sort of vampires’ club – an elite group which is planning the reorganization of the world monetary system.

Since late 1981, the IMF and the multinational financial oligarchies have realized that the developing countries would not be able to pay their debts under their original terms. The Group of Thirty, designed a strategy to use the debt crisis to smash sovereignty. Their perspective is to create a world council with executive powers to dictate and supervise financial policies of each “sovereign” nation to allow free reign for nation-less capital. This entity would be made up of the IMF and the central banks, act independently from national governments and be coordinated by the Bank for International Settlements, based in Basel, Switzerland.

(Lila: That is why End the Fed is an empty slogan, as I blogged here. The money is being conjured at the BIS).

This is the same group that outlined the plan for changing the laws and regulations of nations, in order to protect their derivatives trading and perpetuate the bubble as long as they can. One of the G30 benefactors is the Open Society Foundation, with upon further examination is a George Soros founded organization. Another of the G30 benefactors is the Whitehead Foundation, which was started by John C. Whitehead, the former managing partner for Goldman Sachs, and Deputy Secretary of State in the Reagan Administration.

G30 and more specifically former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker was the major player in moving the USD off the gold standard under Nixon and was the prime mover at the Treasury in establishing Bretton Woods II. Volcker and his buddies at the G30 have not only known about but have methodically planned the global monetary regime that was instituted in response to the Global Financial Crisis caused by the derivatives time bomb (see G-30 manual on derivatives published in 1993).

Now it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you when our Pied-Piper Raghuram Rajan played the tune on how the world will fall into a hole; one of the few who predicted the 2008 financial crisis. The question is – to what end ?

With the world’s financial system in the midst of the biggest blowout in modern history, it is useful to take a look at the latest proposals from the so-called financial experts, as a way of demonstrating their incompetence to devise a solution to a crisis for which they themselves are largely responsible.

In an interview given to The New York Times Mr Rajan explains his definition of growth and provides his solution to the ailing economy :

In terms of where will growth come from, it doesn’t need to come from fancy stuff like extraordinary innovation of one kind or another. Just getting people from agriculture into services and industry itself is growth.

[Lila: India has now lost food self-sufficiency altogether and prices are rising across the board on all grocery items, which cost nearly as much as they do in the West, at salaries far far lower.}

I think India’s medium-term future is moving people out of agriculture into industry and services. Services, you know, some extent we have a sort of a sense of what it takes. And India’s service sector is disproportionately large for a country of its income. Where we have had less success is industry, and the question is can we sort of find a way to free the path for small and medium industry, and not just keep them forever as small and medium industries but allow them to grow into large industries.

In another interview given to The Economic Times he extrapolates it further :

There is a tremendous amount of value-add that can be created in services. In India, especially, financial services as also IT and others are where most value-add is created. Unfortunately, even though services account for 60% of the GDP, they don’t account for nearly as much for jobs. They account for just 15% of the jobs. What we need to focus on is perhaps thinking broadly about how we create services that will generate many more jobs.

Highlighting sectoral disparities building up in the economy, Rajan said in another interview to The Hindu Business Line that while agriculture’s share was declining, that of services had gone up. Manufacturing had remained flat.

This is not surprising. As countries grow, agriculture declines. What is special about India is that the exit of people from agriculture has not kept pace. (no you’re not delusional; read again)

Increasingly, people in agriculture are impoverished relative to those having jobs in industry or service”.

We managed to move the States together, but perhaps we need to do more on the sectoral side to move people out of agriculture into other areas

The ridiculousness of these statements is only complemented by the audacity with which it is said considering the fact that these conclusions are derived with a conviction and in full cognizance of their effects and consequences.

What is striking to me however is that I had heard this tune before. It’s enigmatic melody is so familiar to my ears that it’s been ringing in my head ever since. I had heard it play in what is called the Mecca of Book Lovers – the Jaipur Literature Festival by another piper that goes by the name of Ruchir Sharma; head of Emerging Markets and Global Macro at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and author of the international bestselling tune Breakout Nations: In Pursuit of the Next Economic Miracles.

I remember this distinctly because when questioned by me about the very definition of growth and the solutions for development he was talking about I received the very same answer from him. So similar was the tune that I had to sit up and take notice. Remember that these two are the top Indian thinkers on the Forbes list. So when they speak people listen to them unquestioned like words of God.

Never mind that the Forbes family made their fortunes off of the Opium trade that was forcibly grown in India after ruining the agricultural lands and pushing the farmers into opium cultivation that was sold to the Chinese making their entire generations addicted onto it that made them unable to resist and fight when the time came during the Opium Wars; ultimately losing Hong Kong to the Rothschild gang-controlled East India Company.

Hong Kong became the hub of Opium trafficking and later Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC Bank) was founded on the trafficking money to better launder and manage the booty. Forbes was one of the directors of HSBC and later founded the Forbes magazine as we all know. These are respected family names now.”

For the American connections to the opium trade see this lengthy blog post by Linda Minor, “Why Would the Harvard Corporation Protect the Drug Trade?”

And in case you dismiss all that as history, here are stories about the advent of the opium trade and mass addiction to India. Only two decades ago, they were unheard of.

Pope Francis: Nightmare for Catholics?

Note: No offense intended to Catholics or Jesuits.

At Slate Michael Dougherty, national correspondent for The American Conservative writes:

“But the other way to look at the dawn of this papacy is that it is one more in the pile of recent Catholic novelties and mediocrities. He is the first Latin American pope, the first Jesuit to be pope, and the first to take the name Francis. And so he falls in line with the larger era of the church in the past 50 years which has been defined by ill-considered experimentation: a “pastoral” ecumenical council at Vatican II, a new synthetic vernacular liturgy, the hasty revision of the rules for almost all religious orders within the church, the dramatic gestures and “saint factory” of Pope John Paul II’s papacy, along with the surprise resignation of Benedict XVI. In this vision, Benedict’s papacy, which focused on “continuity,” seems like the exception to an epoch of stunning and unsettling change, which—as we know—usually heralds collapse.

There are reasons to believe that Pope Francis is a transitional figure, unlikely to effect major reform at the top of the church. He is not known as a champion of any theological vision, traditional or modern. He is just two years younger than Pope Benedict was upon his election eight years ago. He has deep connections to Italy, but little experience with the workings of the Vatican offices. A contentious reading of Pope Francis’ rise is that Benedict’s enemies have triumphed completely. It is unusual for a one-time rival in a previous election to triumph in a future one. And there is almost no path to Bergoglio’s election without support from curial Italians, combined with a Latin American bloc. Low-level conspiracy theories already flourish in Italy that Benedict’s resignation was the result of a curia determined to undermine his reforms. This election will only intensify that speculation. An older pope who does not know which curial offices and officers need the ax, will be even easier to ignore than Benedict.

Besides his lack of knowledge of the ins and outs of the Vatican, there is almost no evidence of him taking a tough line with anyone in his own diocese. Are we to believe that Buenos Aires has been spared the moral rot and corruption found almost everywhere else in the Catholic clergy? Or, more likely, do we have another Cardinal who looked the other way, and studiously avoided confrontation with the “filth” in the church, no matter the danger to children or to the cause of the church?  Presumption and detraction are sins, but Catholics should gird themselves; the sudden spotlight on his reign may reveal scandal and negligence.”

Comment:

Meanwhile, at ibtimes.com, Conor Adams Sheets noted the following, just before Francis’ accession:

“Even an opinion writer for Pravda, a communist newspaper in Russia, discussed such beliefs two days after Pope Benedict made the unexpected announcement:

“Last night, a lightning stroke [sic] a dome in the city of the Vatican,” he wrote, referencing a widely circulated image showing the freak natural occurrence. “Was it a plot of Haarp program or a sign of an angry sky? Of course, it could be considered as a sign of the Illuminati, one day after the pope’s resignation, which has despaired many of the traditionalist Catholics who believed in him as their last chance.”

Haarp is the acronym for the High Frequency Active Auroral Program, an Alaska-based program funded by the United States military, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. It has been invoked in a number of wild conspiracy theories, and the Pravda writer, Nicolas Bonnal, invoked the program’s name in the same breath as his mention of the Illuminati, pointing to the wide range of rumors that have plagued the Catholic Church since Pope Benedict declared that he would be resigning from the papacy.

A variety of conspiracy theories about the Catholic Church gained international attention when author Dan Brown’s popular novels, including 2003 best-seller “The DaVinci Code,” discussed a number of conspiracy theories about the founding of Christianity and the history of Catholicism, including the concept that there was a fight between the shadowy Priory of Sion and Opus Dei groups over the possibility that Jesus Christ married Mary Magdalene.

The popular books include repeated references to — and symbols of — leading conspiracies about the church, drawing from rumors about the Knights of the Templar, pentacles, Satanism, the legend of the Holy Grail and more.”

Miriam Carey: Was she a threat to the government (Updated)

Update 9: I just checked American Everyman, the blog run by Scott Creighton, which was excellent in deconstructing the Snowden business, and I notice that he is also certain that that Infiniti was NOT damaged in the photos.

He links to an earlier post of his that turns out to have analyzed exactly the same map in the NY Daily too.

I guess there were only so many sources to go to and we both reached the same conclusion. The “ramming” story is a bit of a crock, with the caveat that some video in the future might show it. So far, though, no cigar.

Sigh. I could have saved myself a lot of work over the weekend.

In any case, I suppose it’s good that the video footage be reviewed from as many different angles as possible.

I’m linking his analysis here.

Update 8: An anonymous poster at the CBS website claims that the chase began not from Penn. and 15th or E and 15th (in some accounts), but from East Executive and Alexander Hamilton Place, NW.

Looking it up, I find a guide to White House tours on a congressman’s website that lists the usual entry point for guests:

Tour instructions: Groups should enter the White House complex at the corner of 15th Street and Alexander Hamilton Place. Uniformed National Park Service Rangers are posted to assist groups as they arrive.

So it was normal for visitors to go to this area (all 3 locations are close to each other) if they wanted to visit the White House. There was no reason to find Carey suspicious just because she was there. On that day, of course, the area might have been cordoned off, because of the drill, or for some other reason. But surely an out of state visitor (and her tags would have shown she was out of state) couldn’t possibly be expected to know about that.

So the paranoia and aggression displayed by the police can’t be excused.

Unless, of course, the police were under the impression that  DRILL  was under way and Miriam Carey was part of it…

Update 7:

Whoa. Look at this:

“Ruwe was acting as the Incident Commander and worked with the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, II Marine Expeditionary Force, during the opening day of Capital Shield 14, at the Lorton Va., emergency training site, Sept. 30.

Lorton was the site where Aaron Alexis,  the Navy Yard shooter, bought his gun.]

More than 38 participating agencies from DOD and capital region response agencies performed mock mass casualty rescues, defense support to civil agency technical rescues and law enforcement tactical responses.”

So convenient. A young mother who never said anything about going to DC, suddenly shows up 270 miles away from where she’s supposed to be, on the final day of an emergency drill coordinated by 38 agencies from the DOD, and ends up being shot.

Here’s another thought.

Did Carey’s baby, Erica, the one who is so cool while being handled by strangers, after she just saw her mother shot to death by multiple bullets, after a high-speed chase involving at least five police cars, two injured officers, and three damaged vehicles, did Erica also just make those 270 miles with her mom the night before? If so, where did these two troopers stay?

Did they just camp out in the Infiniti? If so, that’s one heck of a tough kid….

Update 6: Looks like there was a drill going on at the time of Miriam Carey’s killing, Capital Shield 2014, according to the US Army website:

(hat-tip to Blacklisted News)

WASHINGTON (Oct. 1, 2013) — First responders in the National Capital Region need to keep their skills at a high level of proficiency. Participating in Capital Shield 14 is one of the methods they used to maintain their expertise.

Capital Shield 2014 is a joint training exercise in the National Capital Region, or NCR, that runs from Sept. 30 thru Oct. 3, and is hosted by the Joint Force Headquarters – National Capital Region. It brings federal, state, local and municipal agencies together to realistically test interagency operability during a crisis impacting the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland. It also trains and prepares the Department of Defense to provide defense support to civil authorities and employ appropriate force protection measures as requested.

“The importance of Capital Shield lies in the fact that emergencies are imminent,” said Cory R. Wright, JFHQ-NCR/MDW Capital Shield Exercise director. “They happen. When will they happen? We don’t know, but the importance of knowing who will respond and what their capabilities are can contribute to an emergency within the nation’s capital.”

Update 5: Michael Savage is rightly outraged. I understand cops might have been on high alert after the Navy Yard shooting two weeks ago (mid-September), but there’s nothing I can see here to make anyone figure Carey was a similar threat.

I’ve watched 3 different videos of this incident, several times each, and I routinely see people on the road driving in much more dangerous ways (heard of the game “chicken”?) than anything this poor woman did here.

Update 4:

Here is some video footage from the news outfit (Alhurra) referenced in the Time piece. The Time piece says that Carey’s Nissan Infiniti crashed into a police car.

Well, this particular Youtube video doesn’t show that, as far as I can see.

[Note: In the following passages I incorrectly describe the Alhurra footage as depicting the scene at the START of the chase. In reality, it’s from the middle of the chase, when the first shots were fired; it’s at Garfield Circle. I haven’t found any footage of the beginning of the chase at 15th St. and Penn Ave.]

In the opening shot, you can see the first incident that supposedly set off the police chase.

One poster at the CBS website has claimed that the real location is not 15th and E (or Pennsylvania Ave.:

“Note the diagonally placed buildings in the background, consistent with the scene being at East Executive and Alexander Hamilton Place, N.W.”

And it looks mighty strange to me.

There are 2-3 cops cars around Carey already as she drives up in a confused way to the barrier.

The cop cars look like they’re already boxing her in and she’s done nothing except wander into a place forbidden to the public.  Anyone can make that mistake.

Second point. She’s not driving fast at all, as the New York Daily News describes it:

“The drama began around 2:20 p.m., officials said, after Carey — driving a black Infiniti — sped into the driveway leading to the White House and tried to breach security at 15th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. NW, officials said.

Doesn’t look like speeding nor an attempt to breach security. Could just have been a mistake. She lost her way and bumped – or nearly bumped – into the barrier.

One more car seems to join the group as the incident develops. Looks like at least 4, if not 5, cars at the scene, when she takes off.

Then there’s a noise like someone hit something. It coincides with the police car on Carey’s left (viewer right) hitting the barricade with its bumper.

[Lila: OK. That’s when one police officer  got injured, when he bumped up against a barrier.]

The barricade looks like metal posts with nothing in between. I don’t see Carey or her car injuring anyone in this video either.

But the NY Daily News says this:

“Thwarted by the concrete barriers and confronted by cops with their guns drawn, Carey spun the car around and hit the gas — knocking a Secret Service agent over the hood of the car as she sped away.”

I didn’t see any of that in the Alhurra footage.

[Correction: I see now that the Alhurra footage is from the time she entered the Garfield Monument area and isn’t the start of the chase.

Then, Carey sets off with cops firing around her. There are 7 gun shots at this point, from the Alhurra video footage. I counted them and I heard one of the commentators on the videos (I forget which one) use that number too.

The New York Post reports that there were at least a dozen shots fired at her during the chase.

Not sure if they counted the ones at the Garfield Circle when they came up with the figure.

Finally, when the chase ends, in front of the Hart Senate building, there are multiple shots to her body.

The NY Daily News claims (below) that the first shooting took place at the Garfield Circle.

But if you watch the video, there were shots fired as soon as she took off from the barricade area, which I thought was at 15th Street and Pennsylvania Ave.

[Correction: The footage I saw was apparently from the Garfield Circle area and not from the start of the chase].

“At Garfield Circle, she raced through her first hail of bullets. At Constitution Ave. and Second St., she collided with a Capitol Police car and then barreled into some barricades outside the Hart Senate Office building.”

In this version, Carey is being reported as having hit a Capitol Police car AND the barricades. So she hit three things (two barricades and a police car) and there’s hardly visible damage on the bumper of her car. at the end of the chase. Mighty odd.

Update 3

The IJ (Independent Journal) Review has some graphics for the story (taken from the New York Daily News).

It looks like the Youtube video  I posted below (Update 2) only shows parts of the chase.

HER SPEED

Carey  might have been going slower in the video, but it’s possible she could have been doing 80 MPH when she was racing down Pennsylvania Ave to the Capitol.

A witness (NY Daily News) described the “screaming” of the car as it was chased by 3 police cars.

The video I posted before (update 2) looks to be from about the time she was driving around the Garfield Monument and was stopped. That was when the first round of shots were fired.

CRASHING THE BARRICADE

What’s interesting to me is that her Infiniti is supposed to have crashed into a barricade, setting off the chase, and then, been stopped by crashing into another barricade (in some accounts) or into a police car (in others) or into both (in another account).

But, the Infiniti, even at the end, looks quite intact. I thought I saw some slight damage around the left wheel, and of course, the pictures are not clear, but it’s not the kind of damage you’d get from ramming a barricade (or a car), while going at least 40 MPH….and possibly 80 MPH.

The hood of the car would have popped up with that impact and the child would have been squalling and agitated.

Instead, at least in the one photo two photos I saw, the child looks extremely composed.

There are many contradictions in the news reporting. Here’s one:

The New York Daily News, from where the map is taken in the IJ Review piece, claims that she crashed a second time into a police cruiser.

http://d1ovi2g6vebctw.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/capitalcitymap.jpg

The Time reports that according to footage from Alhurra, she crashed into a secret service car guarding the Capitol.

That seems consistent with the damage on the side of the police car shown in the IJ Review piece.

But other articles say the second time she crashed, it was again, into a barricade.

But, whether into a barrier or into a police car,  the visible state of the Infiniti doesn’t seem to support the claim of a crash.

And while some pieces describes a “police cruiser” as having been damaged by crashing into a barrier,  the photo in the IJ Review shows a police car with extensive damage to the side.

It looks T-boned to me. How do you crash into a barrier from the side, like that? That’s not side-swipe damage. [Probably that’s the car she crashed into and the cruiser that crashed into the barrier is the one being shown in the Alhurra footage at Garfield Circle, where it bumps into a metal barrier.]

Finally, there’s another picture at the IJ Review of Erica, Carey’s 1-2 year old baby, being carried by a cop. She looks quite placid even there. She also looks much older than 1-2.  Reports about the age of the baby and when Carey got pregnant are also contradictory, although that’s too be expected in early reporting.

The New York Post says she was 2-3 (which is also what the family reported first):

“A child believed to be a girl about 2 or 3 years old was found unhurt in her black Infiniti sedan, which had Connecticut license plates.”

The child in the pictures I saw was not 1. It was more like 2 or 3.

The contradictions about the crash events themselves are less forgivable.

INJURED POLICEMEN

The New York Daily News also claims Carey injured two policemen.

Thwarted by the concrete barriers and confronted by cops with their guns drawn, Carey spun the car around and hit the gas — knocking a Secret Service agent over the hood of the car as she sped away.

The same piece describes the two injured officers as a Secret Service agent (perhaps the one above) and  Capitol Hill police officer (probably the one whose car got damaged).

Update 2 (October 6):

I watched the video of Miriam Carey on youtube.

From what I saw, it looks like

1. Her Nissan Infinity (the luxury end of Nissan’s offerings) was not damaged. The front bumper and license plate were intact. Even if she did bump into the barricade, she could not have done much damage, it seems to me. Much more likely, she got close, and then fled when she was surrounded.

2.  When she drives off and circles the area, she doesn’t seem to me to be driving carelessly. Her turns are not careening and wild, as they usually are in high-speed chases.

3. Everyone said she was doing 80 mph. But from what I saw, she wasn’t going that fast. Too fast for the neighborhood, but not that crazily fast. More like 40 mph 50 MPH.

4.  I didn’t see her ramming anyone else [the part where she evades the 5 officers in the beginning is obscured though), bearing down on any by-standers, returning gunfire, or in anyway threatening anyone else. I fail to see why she was treated as if she were committing vehicular homicide.

5. Why the macho response, with what looked like 5 policemen circling her with guns? Looks like she just drove into the wrong place. Do the cops shoot you for that?

6.  The cops materialized very fast. It definitely looked a bit staged to me. Of course, the family is said to have identified the body. But I truly wonder.

Possibilities: This was a bad bit of over-reaction from the cops, who are now in full CYA (cover your ass) mode…OR

It is some kind of staged event, some kind of learning moment that intelligence agencies have devised, perhaps to make maternity a psychiatric event, with a full panoply of therapy and drugs that will be introduced into some future health care program…..or, as I blogged before, to draw attention to electro-magnetic harassment.

OR

The woman was a known threat…someone who had to be eliminated for some reason…and was then framed as a psychotic. Perhaps that “stair-case fall” was not an accident, but a previous attempt on her life. That would be supported by her own fears of being stalked, her complaint that her car tires were slashed. Some neighbor is supposed to have said she always drove too fast. Again, this sounds very exculpatory for the cops. Could this convenient quote have been coerced or bribed out of someone? Or, had Carey panicked and raced away before, thinking she was being followed? Or, are the negative remarks evidence of some kind of concerted “group” harassment of her?

Hard to tell without much more information.

Update:

As I review what I’ve read, the only theory that covers all the facts so far is that Miriam Carey actually interacted with Obama and may have posed a threat to him – or to someone close to him.

That would account for her going to the White House. It would account for her so-called “fixation” with him and her fear he was stalking her. It would account for her sudden run of bad luck; it would account for the gang-stalking; it would account for the way her apartment was searched (with robots, in case there was a bomb there); it would account for her crying jags and depression.

It would explain why she had to be killed.

And, of course, there is not a shred of hard proof that she ever met him.

It is pure speculation on my part…..

ORIGINAL POST

Miriam Carey, the 34 year old dental hygienist who was killed by DC cops after she allegedly crashed her car into a barrier at the White House and then supposedly led a high-speed chase that injured police, is said to have been suffering from post-partum depression.

CORRECTION After reading the reports in detail and looking at video footage, I have to say the media is making a lot of incorrect claims. It’s not clear how “high-speed” the chase was. So far, I’ve seen the Infiniti doing about 50 MPH.

Carey doesn’t seem to have injured the policeman. He injured himself hitting a barrier (if that is the case). From the lack of damage to the front part of the Infiniti, even after the second crash, it doesn’t look as if she hit any barricades.

Anti-depressants were allegedly found by law enforcement at her Stamford Connecticut apartment, and her family has testified to her depression.

Stamford is a bedroom community for New York. Carey, born and raised in Brooklyn, where she lived from 1997 on, had moved to Stamford because rents were too high in New York.

She was fired from her job at Advanced Periodontics in August 2012, for “being too rough.”

Her former employer said she had a staircase fall in January 2012, and suffered head and neck injuries. That’s around the time she is said to have begun exhibiting symptoms of what reports are now alleging is post-partum depression.

Others report the fall as having taken place in April, 2012. She is said to have found out she was pregnant at the time.

Other issues: Carey is said to have been sued by her condo association for not having paid her dues.

“According to a report from the Associated Press, Carey stopped paying association dues on her Stamford, Connecticut, condo in August 2010 and was sued by the condo association in November last year for $1,759 in unpaid fees plus collection costs. The lawsuit was settled in February.”

She is reported to have been fired from her job because the handicap parking permit she got as a result of her injuries led to a fight with her employers.

“Carey worked as a dental hygienist in Hamden, Conn. until August 2012, according to NBC Connecticut. Her former boss, Dr. Barry Weiss, described her as “hot-tempered” but said “nothing in her behavior would have led us to think this would have happened.” Carey’s license to practice as a dental hygienist expired Thursday.

Dr. Brian Evans, who also oversaw Carey while she worked at the Hamden clinic, revealed she was hospitalized a few years ago. She “fell down some stairs and she had a pretty significant head injury,” Evans told the New York Daily News. As she recovered in the hospital, she discovered she was pregnant and “seemed happy,” he said.

Carey was ultimately fired from the practice in 2012, Dr. Weiss said, after “complaints about her from patients.”

Reports also allege that she claimed to the police that she was a prophet and that she knew that Barack Obama was stalking her electronically and would lock down Stamford because of her.

Coincidence One:

She has a sister, Valery Carey, who is an entrepreneur in the area of female hormones. Valery Carey’s outfit is called Time Of The Month (TOTM) – a reference to menstruation cycles.  Post-partum depression is part of TOTM’s agenda.

Valery Carey is a “community activist,” (shades of community organizer par excellence, Barack Obama) formerly with the NY police department. She notes the following on her Facebook page (italics are mine):

My partners along with the cofounders of 5Linx have donated over $57,000 to the Trayvon Martin Foundation. THIS is why I’m in Florida. — with Schmoll Reaves-Bey at Orange County Convention Center.

I have blogged about the Trayvon Martin case as an example of the kind of media-driven, racially polarizing public debate that is likely to have been contrived/fanned by the same elements that planned an Obama re-election campaign centered around race-baiting.

Valery Carey writes at her website:

“TOTM! Time Of The Month!® is not just a calendar planner to track your menstrual cycle. It’s a movement of female empowerment!”

Coincidence two:

The media is reporting that Carey thought she was being stalked by President Obama.

Her sister had apparently been involved with a group that once hosted President Obama.  There is a real chance that Miriam Carey met Obama in person.

If so, could there have been some kind of relationship?

That would account for many things in this strange story….

Coincidence three:

Carey lived in Stamford, Connecticut.

Newtown, Connecticut is the site of the Sandy Hook school shooting (Dec. 14, 2012), the second deadliest in US history.

Stamford is only 51 minutes from Newton, if I go by Google.

In January 2013, the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center, a notable hate-monitoring (and some would say, hate-purveying) site mentioned a Stamford  property as the target of a police investigation.

Bombs and racist propaganda had apparently been found.

The Anti-Defamation League devotes special attention to Stamford, as a hotbed of white racism (not just the KKK, but conservative groups), as well as of sovereign citizen and paramilitary groups.

Stamford even has a book written about it – “Rogue Town,” which describes its time as the headquarters of the Genovese and Gambino crime families during the 1970s and 1980s.

Supposedly, it was cleaned up in the 90s.

But how can we be sure? The Gambino and Genovese crime families are intimately connected to Wall Street and the stock market.

President Barack Obama, was, of course, the choice of the hedge-fund community.

Coincidence Four:

Like Aaron Alexis, the Navy Yard shooter of only two weeks ago (Sept 16, 2013), Carey claimed to have suffered electro-magnetic harassment.

Question one: Can we find out if Carey did meet Obama, at some point? Why did she think he was stalking her? Or is this “fact” just being put out by the media uncritically? Is there any other source for it besides the police and her boyfriend?

Carey’s business was also adversely affected by Obama’s health care policy initiatives.

Question two: Could her professional problems have made her more politically active than her friends think she was? Could her activism have led to her becoming a target?

Question three: How do we know that drugs were not planted in her apartment?

Question four: How do we know she wasn’t being gang-stalked? See this website about gangstalking.

The pseudonymous author of the website, Peacefrog, suggests, plausibly, that Carey was being gang-stalked by the Stamford police and that the media reports about her dispute with her neighbors, unflattering comments by neighbors, and her complaint that her tires were slashed in 2012, are all evidence of gang-stalking.

Several websites –  I can’t say how reliable –  specifically mention the Stamford police and gang-stalking. Frankly, her resume doesn’t sound like that of a delusional woman.

Even if she did suffer from some post-partum depression, it doesn’t follow that that was the cause of her belief that she was being stalked. Perhaps, instead, it was the stalking that caused her to fall into a depression in the first place.

5. Is this, like the Snowden “revelations,” some kind of government damage-control exposure, intended to let the public know that yes, electronic harassment and gang-stalking DO go on, while limiting the range of discussion and implicitly threatening/intimidating the public?

[Notice the violent, over-the-top law enforcement response; the innuendos about terrorism; the imputation of mental disorder to the dead woman.]
