Matt Taibbi: Heroin Addicted, Rape-y, Hero Of “Resistance”

You can figure out all you need to know by looking at the “heroes” of the so-called American resistance to empire, if there be any such.

Taibbi, a vulgar drug-addicted, rape-fantasizing plagiarist and shill [his father was a fairly well-known prize-winning establishment journalist and he is almost certainly intelligence-linked] is the hero of this so-called resistance….a guy no better than Hunter Biden, in many ways, except for his well-paid, self-promoting gig as the voice of American “resistance” to such crime families, as Hunter Biden’s.

This is the moral compass of that resistance. Yes, even of the Christian libertarians. That is all you need to know.

Some quotes from Taibbi:

“We wrote a whole bunch of editorials about the size of Putin’s penis”

“…every Russian is a total fuckup..”

[this kind of comment is just fine as long as it’s directed against a relatively powerless group. Try putting in the words New York Jew , instead of Russian, and see what happens. And mind you, I have never criticized Jewish figures as a people or a religious community, only their public leaders and their actions as supremacists.]

he believes numerous western journalists in Moscow are on secret payrolls

[Lila: in other words, he claims they are CIA. Which is a nice bit of cover for the obvious fact that that is what he is.]

“It [Lila: heroin] can ruin your life in so many different ways and so fast before you even know it, but it has the one redeeming feature: being a whole lot of fun.”

obscene sexually harassing reference to Michelle Malkin

Now, there’s some WashPo reporter claiming she was a sexual victim of Taibbi, which I am not sure I believe given that WashPo runs as much disinfo as any outlet and its journalists are half-assets [!] themselves, any more than I believe all the exploits in Taibbi’s book actually took place. Not without serious embellishment in both directions – to make him out to be more edgy than he really is, on one hand – and on the other to shade out all the actual wrong things he did. The idea is to plead guilty to all the bad stuff you think is sexy and will actually up your literary value, so no one will look at the grungy, depressingly pedestrian vile things you really did.

Besides, there is Taibbi’s extensive and documented plagiarism, in my case, of the Goldman Sachs story and the notion of the Koch brothers’ influence, but also from others, I’m told.

Taibbi isn’t really what bothers me, though. He is what he is. I’ve had a couple of people I’ve known like this and I always got on with them….at a distance. What bothers me is the nature of the “resistance” which needs him as a mouth-piece.

It’s not anything I want to be a part of. And it’s probably led and financed from above.

Fascist Biowar Experts Hired By CIA Operation Paperclip

Finian Cunningham at Strategic-Culture.org:

Medical scientists Shiro Ishii and Kurt Blome were respectively the commanders of the biological and chemical warfare research efforts by Japan and Germany during the war. Ishii commanded the notorious Unit 731 which was based in Manchuria in Japanese-occupied China. Blome was the lead scientist in testing biological weapons and poisonous gases on inmates at Auschwitz and other Nazi death camps.

Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany collaborated intensively in the sharing of experimental data on new bioweapons, including the spreading of anthrax, typhoid, cholera, smallpox, bubonic plague, and botulism.

Ishii’s Unit 731 is estimated to have caused up to 500,000 deaths during the war from the use of biological warfare by dropping pathogens from airplanes on Chinese cities in Hunan and Zhejiang provinces. The unit also carried out diabolic forced experiments on Chinese and Russian prisoners of war to study the epidemiology of diseases and vaccines. Inmates were infected with pathogens and subjected to horrible agonizing deaths.

Shiro Ishii and his criminal network were never brought to trial following the war despite earnest Soviet requests. Instead, the Americans who occupied mainland Japan granted him and his team of doctors immunity from prosecution in exchange for exclusive access to the biological and chemical warfare experiments. The Pentagon assigned its experts from Fort Detrick, Maryland, to tap the Japanese trove of data.

General Douglas MacArthur, the Allied Supreme Commander, personally intervened to ensure that Washington did not allow prosecution of Ishii or any other Japanese wartime specialist in those fields. Ishii died in 1959 in Tokyo at the age of 67 never having faced justice for the mass deaths he had supervised.

Meanwhile, Kurt Blome, the Wehrmacht chief of biological and chemical warfare, was brought to trial at the Nuremberg Doctors’ Trials but he was acquitted in 1947 primarily because of American intervention to let him walk free.

Blome was just one of over 1,000 Nazi scientists and engineers who were recruited by the U.S. as part of Operation Paperclip. They would go on to be vital contributors to developing American missile technology and the NASA space program.

Again Fort Detrick, the Pentagon’s biological warfare center, tapped Blome’s expertise in weaponizing anthrax and other pathogens. His knowledge of nerve agents such as Tabun and Sarin was also harnessed by the CIA and its MK-Ultra program for assassinating political opponents. Blome worked closely with Sydney Gottlieb who headed up the CIA’s biological and chemical warfare unit. Gottlieb was known as the agency’s “poisoner-in-chief” and was personally involved in repeated efforts to assassinate Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Ironically, the CIA man who was the son of Jewish Hungarian immigrants ended up working with a Nazi scientist who had experimented at Auschwitz.

Japan Tries Anti-Russian Provocation, Fails

Andrew Korybko reports on a failed attempt by Japan to stage an anti-Russian provocation, using India.

A scandal suddenly erupted within the Quad earlier this week after India refused to allow a plane from fellow partner Japan’s “Self-Defense Forces” (SDF) to pick up humanitarian supplies in the country that were destined for Poland and Romania. New Delhi quickly clarified, however, that “We have conveyed our approval for picking of such supplies from India using commercial aircraft.” The Hindu noted that the use of civilian aircraft is obviously preferred by India over military ones like the SDF plane that was initially dispatched on this mission since the South Asian state very proudly practices a policy of principled neutrality. It continues to do so despite immense American pressure to publicly condemn Russia for its ongoing special military operation in Ukraine. Since the scandal has now been clarified, it’s time to analyze exactly why it even happened at all and what everything related to it might mean.

India and Japan have excellent relations and closely cooperate bilaterally and through the Quad alongside America and Australia. They’re officially driven by their pursuit of mutually beneficial outcomes that supposedly aren’t directed against any third party even though most observers suspect that shared concerns about their mutual Chinese neighbor’s rise played a role in bringing them closer together over the past decade at the accelerated pace that their relations have since developed. Whether that’s the case or not, there’s also no denying that these two strategic partners practice different policies towards Russia: India’s is one of principled neutrality while Japan has dutifully complied with its American overlord’s demands to sanction that Eurasian Great Power even though it’s declined to quit its Sakhalin energy project on the pretext that doing so would somehow help Moscow.

Nevertheless, the Japanese leadership seems to believe that their national interests are best served by taking on a more prominent role in their American overlord’s anti-Russian campaign to the extent that’s realistically possible given Tokyo’s limitations in this respect. With that in mind, it seems to have plotted to rope India into an anti-Russian provocation by dispatching its SDF plane to pick up humanitarian aid in that country en route to Ukraine’s NATO neighbors in Central Europe. Had New Delhi approved its landing, then the optics would have been such that Moscow might have wondered why its special and privileged strategic partner would allow a military plane from a newly designated unfriendly country (the legal category of which refers to states like Japan and those in the EU that have sanctioned Russia) to carry out this humanitarian mission when a civilian one could have been used instead.

India’s strategists have very wise and know their Russian de facto allies very well, which is why they weren’t going to get roped into this provocation by their fellow Quad partner. That’s why they refused to authorize the SDF plane’s landing since Japan should have known better by dispatching a civilian aircraft for carrying out this humanitarian mission instead.

Naked As We Are

Pravmir.com:

In such circumstances, I see myself as the fellow in the parable of the talents who received only one talent. The Land Owner tells him that the least he could have done, instead of burying the talent, was to give the talent to bankers so that it could collect interest. That’s me. I’m that fellow with the one talent. I cannot do what others do. I cannot invest and double my “talent of Grace,” as the hymns of Holy Week tell us to do. But I can at least do the least. That is, if I am going to break the fast because (well, because of any reason), then the least I can do is not give in completely to my craving: At least I can eat the cheese rather than the fish, or the fish rather than the chicken or the chicken rather than the steak. What is the least I can do? At least I can do that. And I have found that when I do this, when I offer to God the least, that God graciously accepts this.

I can imagine that some of you are screaming, or something inside you is screaming, “but we should give God our best, not our least.” And of course, you are right. But here’s the painful reality that we are not willing to accept about ourselves: often the least is our best. Best is not defined by the idealized picture we have in our head about ourselves. Best is defined by what we really are and what we really have and are able to do and offer God in the particular circumstances and reality of our life as it is, not as it should be or as we wish it were. What we really have to offer God comes from who we really are, not who we think we should be. And when we begin to offer to God the two widow’s mites of our reality, of who we really are, then we begin to really change. Then, I think, metamorphosis really begins. Up to this point everything has been getting us ready, ready to see ourselves as we are, ready to accept God’s love for us in our miserable condition, ready to offer to God, not what we should, but what we are.

And this experience, this movement from should to be, has been for me one of the more painful transitions of my spiritual life. And it is on going. I sometimes amaze myself at the depth of self delusion when I see anew the height of my arrogance, the breadth of my selfishness, and my unwavering good opinion of myself even in the face of daily, hourly, evidence to the contrary. Daily I have to return to myself. Daily I have to step out of the bushes naked before God. Daily I have to humble myself and offer to God the least, offer to God so very much less than what I should, so much less than I imagined I would. And yet, this is what I have and what I am. It’s not much, but at least what I have, what I am, at least this little bit I give to God. And God receives it, in his great love for mankind. And God receives it as he received the two copper coins of the widow. And God receives it, small as it is, taking the least and making it not just enough, but making it great, because that’s what God does.

Russian State Site Warns Against Fake Sites & Notices

United Russia [official site] warned on April 16 of fake notices with significant social impact being published on a site spoofing it.

Today, compromising information was posted on a fake site that positions itself as the official resource of the Duma faction.
You need to be prepared for a huge amount of false information. And an example of this is the false statement spread on behalf of the faction of Russia’s largest political party. This was stated by the first deputy head of the United Russia faction Dmitry Vyatkin .
“You need to understand that this alleged “appeal to the President” is only aimed at dividing our society, compromising the Armed Forces, introducing doubts into the minds of people, and also causing damage and undermining confidence in our party. We are closely monitoring the situation, promptly responding to such sabotage and will definitely achieve punishment for those responsible – for this, United Russia has worked long and hard to improve legislation and increase the information security of our citizens,” he said.
The deputy head of the faction , Yevhen Revenko , added that this was pure provocation.
“Someone (I guess who: 10 minutes after the appearance of the fake, the reposts went through the well-known provocateur and liar Anton Gerashchenko in Telegram and 15 minutes later on the Ukrainian UNIAN resource) staged a provocation: he created a false website of our faction and began to post all sorts of nonsense, fakes on socially important topics. Some online publications were quick to pick up. Colleagues please be careful. For our part, we turned to Roskomnadzor with a request to block and remove the fake from everywhere. Well, I’ll add that just as there was no trust in the Kiev mouthpieces of the national propagandist, it still isn’t. Another confirmation,” he said.

A Report On Gonzalo Lira’s Disappearance

UPDATE [H/T TO CHR who commented on this post yesterday, leaving this link. Alex Christoferou of The Duran [?] interviewed Gonzalo Lira who had been captured by the SBU and then released.  He is fine now, although forbidden from leaving Kharkov. I did not post anything about it yesterday, as it was [Orthodox] Good Friday.

Odysy refuses to connect to this blog, so you will have to watch it elsewhere.

ORIGINAL POST

It doesn’t look good so far, with Lira caught between a rock [SBU units shooting people to prevent them leaving Kharkov] and a hard place [Russian shelling of the city]. Azov  on Twitter claims to have got him, but that may simply be idle boasts.

Putin Willing To Stop, If West Stops Ukraine Incitement

On the eve of Good Friday [Orthodox], Putin again extends an olive branch, agreeing to cease the pounding of Mariupol and declare victory, leaving the last block alone, if only the West agrees to stop inciting Ukraine.

500000 Ukrainians have been deported to Russia, according to the same report.

Despite denials, it is almost 100 percent a certainty that senior and maybe even active duty NATO personnel are underground there and that is why the resistance has been so fierce.

Russia has even had to use bunker-busters to break through.

Putin has been doing his best to deescalate every instance of NATO interference, including what happened to the Moskva. Today, he canceled the final storming and declared a full blockade, while also testing a new missile, the Sarmat,  that can overcome all defenses.

Russia’s defence ministry said in a statement the test “successfully” took place at the Plesetsk cosmodrome in northern Russia.

According to the ministry, the missile delivered training warheads to the Kura test range of the Kamchatka peninsula, in Russia’s Far East.

“Sarmat is the most powerful missile with the longest range of destruction of targets in the world, which will significantly increase the combat power of our country’s strategic nuclear forces,” the ministry said.

Fake Russian Website Claims Starlink Guided Moskva Fire

Aroged.com, April 16:

This morning, a false report appeared on a fake portal disguised as the website of the United Russia party that Dmitry Medvedev allegedly announced his decision to shoot down Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites, which provide the orbital Internet system, “over the territory of the Russian Federation, the zone of the special military operation and Black Sea Basin.

The fake site claimed that Starlink satellites were responsible for guiding and modifying the fire on the Moskva:

… guidance and adjustment of fire on the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, was carried out using the Starlink satellite constellation (SpaceX).

Unfortunately, the fake announcement was picked up by a reputable source, India’s Republicworld, and it remains there uncorrected from when it was posted on April 16 until now.
