Major General G. D. Bakshi gives an Indian perspective on the escalation of the Russian war in Ukraine and explains how futile and dangerous Western cheer-leading is for Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, after discussions in Antalya with the Turkish and Ukrainian foreign ministers, March 10, 2022:
We have realised that the point at issue is not Ukraine at all. It is an aggression against all things Russian – interests, religion, culture, language, security, etc. The West’s furious reaction to our actions demonstrates that this is a life and death struggle, a struggle for Russia’s right to be on the political map of the world with full respect for its legitimate interests.
At a meeting of Russia’s Security Council, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said there were 16,000 volunteers in the Middle East who were ready to come to fight alongside Russian-backed forces in the breakaway Donbass region of eastern Ukraine.
“If you see that there are these people who want of their own accord, not for money, to come to help the people living in Donbass, then we need to give them what they want and help them get to the conflict zone,” Putin said from the Kremlin.
Shoigu also proposed that Western-made Javelin and Stinger missiles that were captured by the Russian army in Ukraine should be handed over to Donbass forces, along other weaponry such as man-portable air-defense systems, known as MANPADS, and anti-tank rocket complexes.
From elite IDF combat unit to Ukrainian army:
Up until recently, the existence and details of these bioweapons labs were public knowledge. The US embassy had previously disclosed the locations and details of these laboratories in a series of PDF files online. On February 26, 2022, the official embassy website shut down the links to all 15 bioweapon laboratories.
All the documents associated with these labs have been removed from the internet. If you click on any of the links, the PDF files are no longer available. Thankfully, these files have been archived and can still be accessed. What is the US embassy trying to hide?
The United States has pushed the creation of biolabs via its so-called ‘Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction’, as well as bilateral ‘Joint Biological Commitments and Joint Threat Reduction’ programmes with individual nations.
Washington has long insisted that these programmes, which started being implemented after the end of the Cold War, are designed only to reduce biological weapons proliferation and production.
However, Russia, China, politicians in some of the countries in which the labs are situated, and reporters – led by independent Bulgarian journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva – have questioned these claims.
Last year, Ukrainian opposition politician Viktor Medvedchuk revealed to parliament that as many as 15 US-sponsored biological laboratories were operating on Ukrainian territory, with some of them said to be engaged in the storage of pathogens hazardous to humans and animals. Medvedchuk accused US and Ukrainian authorities of seeking to cover up the extent of these activities, and warned that some of the labs may be experimenting on human beings. He also highlighted repeated mysterious outbreaks of dangerous diseases in the country between 2009 and 2017, including haemorrhagic pneumonia, cholera, and hepatitis A. In 2016, he noted, at least 20 Ukrainian servicemen died from a strange flu-like virus, with 364 more people succumbing to swine flu the same year. Medvedchuk has been under house arrest since May 2021, ostensibly over an unrelated matter.
Along with Ukraine, the nation of Georgia has repeatedly come up in reporting on US military. In 2018, the country’s former minister of state security implored then-US President Donald Trump to open a formal investigation into worrying reports that personnel from the US’ Lugar Center biological lab outside Tbilisi were engaging in experiments on live human test subjects.”
The article noted that outbreaks of infections have begun to be observed in Uzbekistan in places where U.S. military biological facilities operated.
In August 2011, an unknown disease suddenly flared up in the Tashkent region, and the symptoms of the disease were very similar to cholera. In 2012, the country was hit by a new disease, which almost simultaneously killed more than 10 people.
In the spring of 2017, a chickenpox epidemic broke out in Uzbekistan, which affected a large number of adults. Since January 2019, 279 cases of measles have been reported. Also, meningococcal infections are rising in the Central Asian country.
Anna Popova, head of Russia’s consumer rights and human well-being watchdog Rospotrebnadzor, at a meeting of the heads of the Security Councils of the CIS countries, expressed concern over the outbreaks of previously unknown infections in places where the U.S. military labs had opened, the magazine said.
In Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, there are no DTRA facilities, but Washington works on biosafety issues in the two countries through its structures, non-government organizations (NGOs) or “scientific partnerships.”
Through such “scientific” partnerships, the Pentagon and the intelligence services of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries have gained access to top-secret technologies, intellectual property products of scientists from former Soviet Union countries and promising areas for future research, the magazine said. ”
From OpIndia.com
“On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian Tweeted a snippet from a press conference where he asked the US to release “relevant details as soon as possible” regarding alleged US biological laboratories in Ukraine. He captioned his Tweet as, “The US has 336 labs in 30 countries under its control, including 26 in Ukraine alone. It should give a full account of its biological military activities at home and abroad and subject itself to multilateral verification.”
The Russians have frequently alleged the existence of Ukrainian bioweapons labs. Now on March 7, Lt. Gen. Kirillov has stated publicly that they hold exhaustive documentary proof that the stock of pathogens in them was destroyed urgently on the eve of the Russian special operation/invasion.
Until now the Russian claim has been drowned in a tsunami of denials, counter narratives, and counter allegations by the US.
A google search for “Ukraine biolabs” would turn up dozens of sites, from Snopes [a left liberal propaganda site masquerading as a propaganda buster] to Euvsdisinfo.eu, the European version of the same] all denying that there were US biowar labs in Ukraine and all claiming that the facilities there were only fighting disease or monitoring the population’s health and were run by the Ukrainians themselves.
But it looks like the documentary evidence laid out by the Russian army yesterday was too convincing for simple denial. Then there is the pending investigation of Igor Kolomoisky, President Zelenksy’s sugar daddy, a mafiosi Ukrainian billionaire who financed the ethnic cleansing of Donbas Russians. Viruses specifically targeting ethnic Russians [Slavs], as the RF army chiefs have claimed, would be of immense help thee. With the Fed’s investigation tightening, Kolomoisky has moved closer to the Russians and may perhaps be in a position to confirm the biolab revelations.
Indeed, today, the US narrative has shifted.
Now, US officials admit that there were indeed bioweapons research labs….
The new spin is that the biolabs need to be seized by the US before the Russians get to them, the same Russians whom they accused until today of being liars and propagandists for identifying innocent sanitation outposts as biowarfare facilities.
To wit.,
On Tuesday, the US government’s Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland testified before a Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing on Ukraine in Washington, DC, and said that the United States was working with Ukraine to prevent invading Russian forces from seizing biological research material. The State Department also stated that it was concerned that Russian forces are trying to gain control of biological research facilities within Ukraine. The committee was set to examine Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the worldwide response.
At the hearing, State Department official Victoria Nuland was asked whether Ukraine has bioweapons. “Ukraine has biological research facilities, which in fact we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of”, she stated to the US lawmakers on March 8.
Russia has publicized documentation showing that on Feb. 24, 2022, the Ukrainian government ordered the emergency destruction of dangerous pathogens stored in labs close to the Russian border, with US knowledge and support. The pathogens include those that cause cholera, plague, tularemia, and anthrax, whose development and stockpiling are expressly forbidden by Article I of the UN Convention Against Bacteriological [Biological] and Toxin Weapons.
From Sputnik News:
A network comprised of some 30 biological laboratories was formed in Ukraine, with the activities conducted in these labs being commissioned by the US Ministry of Defense, Russia’s Defense Ministry has announced.Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, head of the Russian Armed Forces’ Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops, stated that the biolabs’ activities, as well as the “so called reform program of Ukraine’s healthcare system executed by the US” have led to an increase in cases of “highly dangerous and economically significant infections.”According to Kirillov, biological laboratiries in Lvov were conducting work with infectious agents of plague, anthrax, and brucellosis, while the labs in Kharkov and Poltava were working with infectious agents of diphtheria, salmonellosis, and dysentery.Kirillov also declared that the government in Kiev had sent to the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in the United States thousands of patient’s serum samples, primarily from patients of “Slavic ethniticy,” under the pretext of testing COVID-19 treatment methods.”
The Russians have also charged that the Ukrainian government was using the elevated level of radiation at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant as cover to work on the development of a dirty bomb.
In a related investigation, George Webb, an investigative journalist in the US, has been following the trail of money fleeced from Ukraine through PrivatBank by a consortium of corrupt oligarchs headed by Igor Kolomoisky and fronted by Zelensky. He reports that it was laundered into US real estate, especially in Cleveland, a conclusion supported by earlier reports in the mainstream media in the USA.
From the Organized Crime & Corruption Reporting Project:
The former chairwoman of Ukraine’s central bank dubbed it one of the biggest financial scandals of the 21st century.
Valeria Hontareva was describing the alleged theft of US$5.5 billion from PrivatBank, once the country’s largest commercial lender. The suspected masterminds are the bank’s two oligarch owners: Ihor Kolomoisky and Hennadiy Boholiubov, who stand accused of absconding with an amount roughly equal to 5 percent of the country’s gross domestic product. According to court records, both men are said to have recently been living in Switzerland, though Kolomoisky appears to be spending time in Israel.
Reporters also uncovered numerous previously unknown Swiss and French assets controlled by Kolomoisky’s sister.
“Large-scale coordinated fraudulent actions of the bank shareholders and management caused a loss to the state of at least $5.5 billion,” Hontareva said in March 2018. “This is 33 percent of the population’s deposits … [and] 40 percent of our country’s monetary base.”
Webb locates the headquarters of this corrupt scheme, apparently tied to Ukrainian bioweapons research in, no surprise here, Boca Raton [Rat’s Mouth], Florida.
A detailed account of the US involvement in regime change in Ukraine in 2013/2014 has been put together [here and here ] by Jim Holt from The Gateway Pundit, where I was commenting during the run up to the initial election of Trump and his replacement by the fraudulently installed regime of the pseudo Catholic Joe Biden, whose beliefs have been endorsed by none other than the pseudo Pope Jose Bergoglio, aka Francis.
Biden was in Ukraine during Euromaidan [as that regime change in Ukraine was called], when George Soros the ubiquitous financier of Democrat and CIA causes intervened to protect his oil and gas interests in the country and install a friendly billionaire, Petro Poreshenko, instead of the more neutral/Russia friendly Yanukovych.
Apparently, one of the criteria for the selection of Poroshenko was his willingness to allow US bioweapons facilities masquerading as health monitoring stations to be set up in Ukraine, something the previous government had refused to do. Poroshenko also facilitated the creation of an army of mercenaries to fight the pro Russian Donbass separatists. They were financed by Soros’ preferred consortium of coethnic billionaires, specifically Kolomoisky and Boholyubov.
In 2014, the Wall Street Journal, saw fit to publish a laudatory article on Kolomoisky, then governor of Dniepropetrovsk, claiming the was helping fight pro Russian separatists in Ukraine. Indeed he was, including committing war crimes.
Biden’s son, Hunter, as well as a former CIA official Cofer Black, were installed on the board of Burisma, a gas exploration company, actually owned by Kolomoisky through PrivatGroup, the holding company of Privat Bank.
For American consumption, the story was that Biden was in Ukraine to help clean up the corruption that prevented the country from receiving IMF aid. In actuality, Biden was there to benefit from the corruption and stop the probe into Burisma, by ousting the Ukrainian prosecutor who was pursuing it. When candidate Trump and his cohorts entered the fray to blow the whistle on this corrupt action, he found himself the target of accusations of colluding with Russia, which were subsequently proved false.
The case filed against Kolomoisky and Boholyubov and their agents in America by the USG in Florida can be found here.
Readers of this blog will recognize that as the HQ of the Russian [Jewish] Mafia on the US east coast and one of the prominent centers, along with Tampa, FL, of mortgage fraud during and after the 2008 financial collapse.
As Ukraine and the US authorities have tightened the screws on Kolomoisky over his money laundering scheme, he has started turning more pro Russian, including revealing the extent of US bioweapons installations in Ukraine.
In 2021, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev when asked by the news outlet Kommersant if he knew if China was behind the Covid virus, replied that the US was vastly increasing the number of its biological labs all over the world, especially on the borders of China and Russia. The US Dept. of State dismissed the charge, claiming that the facilities were simply there to help local scientists to fight dangerous diseases in new ways.
Patrushev told Kommersant,
“We and our Chinese partners have questions. We are told that there are peaceful sanitary and epidemiological stations near our borders, but for some reason, they are more more reminiscent of Fort Detrick in Maryland, where Americans have been working in the field of military biology for decades.”
The Republic Day parade in the Indian capital, Delhi, has turned chaotic, as protesting farmers, given permission to hold a rally after the parade, arrived early, broke through barriers, and clashed with lathi-charging police, in what looks like a reprise of the instigated and staged violence, at the January 6 Capitol protests in the USA. Violent riots, reportedly instigated, are now unfolding in Putin’s Russia as well. Billionaire leftist change maestro, George Soros, has poured money into attacking Trump, Putin, and others.
Meanwhile, the Italian PM has resigned.
Today, the entire Russian government stepped down.
In his statement on the government’s resignation, Medvedev indicated that it was doing so in order to make life easier for Putin. He said that the president had “outlined a number of fundamental changes to the constitution,” and that “in this context, it’s obvious that we, as the government … should provide the president of our country with the opportunity to make all the decisions necessary for this.”Those changes appear to be a redistribution of power, giving parliament the power to appoint a prime minister, who will then appoint a cabinet to be approved by parliament. In Putin’s own words: “In this case, the president will be obliged to appoint them; that is, he will not have the right to reject parliament-approved candidacies.”The Russian constitution forbids Putin from standing for re-election as president in 2024. However, there is nothing stopping him from becoming prime minister, as he did in 2008, when he and Medvedev swapped roles for four years.
