Parallel Female Commando Force For Kejriwal?

Why is the Aam Aadmi Party creating an additional, parallel militarized female police force, not subject to Delhi government? If the AAP has been heavily funded by foreign governments (Western), isn’t this force also likely to become subject to outside influence?

First,  we had Wayne May, a US federal agent, telling the Delhi police to stand down from investigating a case of theft and extortion filed by a senior Indian diploma.

Then, we had Wayne May (who was violating tax law and import laws to conduct commercial operations in the embassy, a fact that you won’t hear in any Western paper) obstructing the judiciary of a sovereign country to spirit out the maid Sangeeta Richard.

Then, you had Wayne May instructing his colleagues to get US Marshals to arrest and strip-search a diplomat over her protests of immunity.

Now, using the pretext of an exaggerated rape crisis, drummed up by the UN, you have a commando force created by the foreign foundation funded Aam Aadmi Party taking over in Delhi, not responsible to Delhi government, but as a parallel force.

Ostensibly the female force has been created to check rape, but in reality, whatever the pretext, it constitutes an extra-governmental private police force only responsible to Arvind Kejriwal, the CIA/ Rothschild stooge?

“Ms Birla, who was appointed after her anti-corruption Aam Aadmi Party beat the ruling Congress into third place in the Delhi state government elections last month, believes an all-female commando force will make the capital’s streets safer.

“The Delhi Police won’t care about the commando force because they will still be under the home ministry. What authority will the force have,” Ms Kumari said.

“There are lots of flaws in our system. Many corrective measures need to be taken to make public transportation at night safe for women. We are starting with an all-women commando force. Several ex-army men and martial art instructors have been roped in to train women. Interestingly, more than men, women are coming forward to get trained, which is a positive sign.

They will be trained in Tae Kwan Do and then deployed on several stretches at night,” she told the Times of India.

She also plans to recruit 5,000 women autorickshaw drivers to help make women feel less threatened at night.

Her plan has been questioned by women’s rights campaigners however who said while it was well-intentioned, it would create a parallel force without the support of Delhi’s police.

“We need to bring more women into Delhi Police, not a parallel force. It would better to strengthen the existing police force and demand that it comes under the control of the Delhi government,” said Ranjana Kumari of the Centre for Social Research.

Following the outcry after the Delhi gang-rape and murder, the capital’s then chief minister Sheila Dikshit complained that her state government had no control over the police which comes under the central government’s home ministry.

INDIAN NANNY-GATE: COLOR REVOLUTION IN THE MAKING?

PART ONE: THE WELL-FUNDED NGO’S BEHIND THE ANTI-TRAFFICKING AGENDA

By now, everyone knows that on December 13, 2013, an Indian diplomat, Devyani Khobragade, was arrested and strip-searched by New York police on charges that she failed to pay her Indian maid minimum wage and lied about it to the US government.

In the Western media, the diplomat Devyani Khobragade was treated as a poster-child for the latest human-rights cause celebre, transnational human-trafficking.

However, a closer reading of media reports suggests that the case was set up from the beginning and might well be part of an organized attempt by the Western elites to destabilize India, as part of their ongoing attempt to replace nation-states around the world with transnational bureaucracies under their own direction.

Here’s the evidence so far:

A.

The activists advocating for the maid are part of a very well-financed, ideologically left-wing, transnational network.

The maid’s lawyer Dana Sussman works in the anti-trafficking program of a New York outfit called Safe-Horizon, the largest victims services outfit in the US.

Its directors include representative of the leading multinational financial institutions and corporations in the US, including UBS, JP Morgan Chase, Verizon, and Calvin Klein. (1)

The anti-trafficking program at Safe Horizon was started by Florrie Burke, “a consultant on Human Trafficking and modern day slavery to both governmental and non-governmental agencies.”(2)

Ms. Burke is also on the steering committee of the New York Anti-Trafficking Network and chairman emeritus of the Freedom Network, a coalition of 35 experts and NGOs across the nation, which styles itself the only national group to adopt a “rights-based framework” for its efforts.(3)

The 2013 -2014 policy committee of the Freedom Network is co-chaired by Naomi Tsu of the Southern Poverty Law Center and Dana Sussman, the maid’ lawer, from Safe-Horizon.(4)

The SPLC, once a well-regarded civil rights organization, is increasingly regarded as a biased and selective enforcer of left-wing ideology, known for over-the-top characterizations of its ideological foes.(5)

This should lay to rest any idea that Dana Sussman is just a lawyer defending a client. She is instead a prominent activist, paid by the biggest victims services Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the USA and, thus, in the world.

B

The Anti-trafficking network has the backing of major corporate and financial leaders.

Safe Horizon not only has the backing of major banks and corporate bosses in the US, it is embedded in the NY city government through its court-based victims services programs.  (6)

New York’s government is the most important local government in the US, since New York is the financial capital of the nation and the home of many international bodies, including the United Nations.

C. The Freedom Network has taken a vociferous and one-sided stance on behalf of the Khobragade maid, as evident from letters on its site, such as the following:

“An Open Letter to Ambassador Samantha Powers Regarding Exploitation Charges Against Indian Diplomat.”

D.

The chief of the anti-trafficking network was on an extended tour conferencing with media and government in sensitive areas of India at the time of Khobragade’s arrest.

Just before the arrest of Ms. Khobragade, Ms. Burke was in India on December 7 at Guwahati in the north-east state of Assam.

She was there for a conference on human-trafficking, which she described as a menace needing an all-India body that would coordinate efforts across the states to combat it. (8)

To the Assamese newspaper, Sentinel, Ms. Burke said:

“After Abraham Lincoln, it is only Obama who has spoken out as stridently as possible against modern day slavery.”

Besides Assam and Andhra (a Southern coastal state), Ms. Burke mentioned Afghanistan and Pakistan as sites where anti-trafficking efforts should be expanded.

Andhra has been a site of Naxalite terrorism, as well as of CIA and NGO/Church interference in the government, as has Assam.

Many have seen such intervention as the soft-power arm of empire, operating through bribery and espionage. (9)
Afghanistan and Pakistan of course are targets of imperial hard-power, that is, bombs.

Ms. Burke didn’t explain why her anti-trafficking interests mesh so exactly with US strategic interests.

Recall that the Indian electric outage first began in the North-East region of India, as I blogged in July-August 2012. (10)

Since then, other bloggers have shown that there is evidence that the electricity outage might have been caused by Stuxnet. (11)

With that background, and with our current awareness of the level and depth of US and Israeli espionage against the entire globe, it is interesting to find that the Guwahati anti-trafficking conference promoted the use of software enabling cross-border collaboration between law-enforcement agencies prosecuting anti-trafficking cases. (12) (My emphasis)

Cross-border collaborations between intelligence agencies of countries as far apart in their ability to “project power” as the US and India must inherently be asymmetrical and accrue to the advantage of the more powerful country.

In short, collaboration may be just another pretext for Great Power spying for business and military ends.

Remember that the biometric ID has already been introduced in Afghanistan and is being pushed in India. (13)
Again, as with the anti-trafficking program, the ID is advocated with a “good governance” pretext, in this case, that it will reduce fraud in welfare distributions.

Returning to Florrie Burke’s tour of India as chief of the Freedom Network and its anti-trafficking agenda, we find that the Facebook page of the anti-trafficking conference at Guwahati shows an Indian newspaper editor (Editor, Sikkim Express) receiving the “Impulse” Model Award For Media Change Maker from Cristina Albertin, Representative, UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) Regional Office for South Asia. (14)

Awards are also being given to the editors of papers from Meghalaya.

Thomas Lim, editor Meghalaya Times and Deepak Singh, Associate Editor of Meghalaya Times received the Impulse Model Award For Media Change Maker from Helen LaFave, CG, U.S. Consulate, Kolkatta.

The presence of a US consular officer shows once again that the US government itself is never far behind altruistic “human rights” outfits.

To put this more bluntly, the national anti-trafficking coalition which has been vocally lobbying against Devyani Khobragade has also been canvassing support for its agenda among the media of outlying states in India.
These are the states with histories of being infiltrated and subverted by Maoists and Naxalites, often abetted by the CIA, American NGOs, proselytising churches and missionary bodies. (15)

In fact, since the arrest of Ms. Khobragade took place only a few days after this anti-trafficking grand tour, it wouldn’t be too much to wonder if the two were coordinated.

E.

The Indian media networks that endorse anti-trafficking also support key elements of the UN’s Agenda 21, which has the backing of George Soros, the billionaire front for the Zionist/Rothschild banking cartel.

The “Impulse” in Impulse Media, one of the groups referenced in the Face-book page of the anti-trafficking conference at Guwahati, refers to Impulse Social Enterprises, a group that says it supports ‘sustainable livelihoods for all.” (16)

Now, “sustainability” is a word that crops up frequently in any program espoused by the Western power-elite.

Peter Wood, executive director of the National Association of Scholars (NAS) says, “It turns out that virtually the entire agenda of the progressive left can be fit inside the word sustainability.'” (17)

In fact, the word “sustainability” is code for UN Agenda 21, signed by the US in 1992 (18):

Vice President Gore s book, Earth in the Balance, addressed many of the general issues of sustainability.

Within the past year, the President s Council on Sustainable Development has been organized to develop recommendations for incorporating sustainability into the federal government.

Also, various groups have been formed to implement Agenda 21, a comprehensive blueprint for sustainable development that was adopted at the recent UNCED conference in Rio de Janeiro (the Earth Summit. )

and later,

A common misconception is that sustainability is synonymous with self-sufficiency; on the contrary, sustainability must recognize the interconnections between different levels of societal structure. (18)

One American activist writes:

“Agenda 21 is about total control of our personal property, our ability to travel, our energy consumption& health; the list literally goes on and on.

As Rosa Koire, author of Behind the Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21 states, under an Agenda 21 future, your energy consumption will be controlled until you can’t farm, can’t manufacture, can’t travel, can’t fish, can’t use your land.

Productivity and businesses are limited now.

Through pushing everyone into smart cities and onto smart grids, the Obama EPA s clampdown on coal, and the steering of all manner of public policy from land-use and land ownership restrictions to seemingly small traffic initiatives that ultimately restrict personal travel, evidence of Agenda 21 can be found everywhere we look these days.

It s just as former Rockefeller Board of Trustees member (the Rockefeller Foundation is behind Agenda 21 imitative America 2050? among others) and Earth Council Chairman Maurice Strong envisioned when he wrote the forward to ICLEI s The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide sustainable development implementation document:

In my parting words at the conclusion of the Earth Summit, I said that we all must move down from the Summit and into the trenches where the real world actions and decisions are taken that will, in the final analysis, determine whether the vision of Rio will be fulfilled and the agreements reached there implemented.

Of the many programs that have resulted from the Earth Summit, none is more promising or important than this one, which has hundreds of local authorities around the world now setting out and implementing their Local Agenda 21s.” (19)

It’s clear from this that the anti-human-trafficking program is closely tied to Sustainability and Human Rights, two of the pillars of the UN/CIA agenda and that the terms mean something far different from what they mean in ordinary usage.

The UN/CIA agenda has been shown by activists to be funded and supported by George Soros.

Soros is a billionaire front of the Rothschild banking cartel. (20)

Would it be too far-fetched to ask if there might not be a financial and strategic reason for the pursuit of the anti-trafficking agenda, and would it be too cynical to ask, cui bono?

Mullick writes:

“Today we spend less on training Indian security personnel than we do on security forces from Morocco, Tunisia, El Salvador, Poland and Pakistan. Rajiva: On the other hand, it makes perfect sense, if US-India security cooperation is less about security from terrorist threats and more about using the country as a cats-paw to further US goals in the region.

Note: The Global Terrorism Index 2012 ranks India in the top five countries around the world suffering from terrorism, ahead of countries like Somalia and Columbia in the number of terrorist incidents and deaths.

Anil Kumar’s dead lawyer or the small world of NY fixers

The New York Times has a piece about the death of Robert Morvillo, who  happens to have been the attorney for Anil Kumar, the McKinsey manager, whose “cooperation” with the Federal investigation into the Galleon Group insider- trading ring, dragged down perhaps the highest rank manager ever to be so convicted. That was Anil Kumar’s mentor and one-time friend,  Rajat Gupta, three times director of global consulting behemoth McKinsey:

“Last spring, he represented Anil Kumar, a former senior executive at McKinsey & Company who was a key witness in the insider-trading trial of the former hedge fund manager Raj Rajaratnam.”

What made the case especially horrible, apart from appalling rulings from Judge Rakoff, was that so much of the charge of conspiracy made against Mr. Gupta relied on nothing more than circumstantial evidence and hearsay, in this case, the unreliable hearsay of Mr. Anil Kumar, a senior partner and director at McKinsey and a protege of the luckless Mr. Gupta.

Mr. Anil Kumar is a documented and admitted conspirator and criminal.

The Federal government rewarded him for his testimony by giving him probation.

If this “reward for cooperation” had been given by anyone outside the government, it would be called what it really is – bribery and perhaps suborning of perjury.

Meanwhile, we’ll never know what kind of bargaining went on between the government and Anil Kumar, because one crucial part of that history, his defense attorney, Robert Morvillo, is dead.

Curiously,  Morvillo’s death occurred in December 2011, which is just around the time that Rajat Gupta was demanding to see government files relating to the prosecutor’s deals with cooperating witnesses.

Those files were denied him by Judge Rakoff’s ruling, so the government’s not talking, either.

The ruling and others like it resulted in an erroneous verdict.

Based solely on flimsy evidence that should never have taken him to a federal criminal trial, Gupta now faces five years on the conspiracy charge and twenty years each on the three securities fraud counts (two of which pertain to a single alleged trade).

Adding to the complete media dereliction in this case, the newspapers have almost uniformly reported this incorrectly, claiming that Gupta only faces twenty years in total.

The truth is he faces 65 years in prison. Given that he is sixty-three years old, that is a life sentence.

In spite of itself, though, the  NY Times piece does do one good thing. It gives us a glimpse into the cozy web of connections between judges, defense lawyers, prosecutors, and corporations that has turned the courts into one of the most corrupt and tyrannical arms of the government:

“Mr. Morvillo was one of a group of lawyers who worked as federal prosecutors in the office in the 1960s under Robert M. Morgenthau’s leadership. He rose to become head of the office’s securities-fraud unit, which Mr. Morgenthau had formed. That unit, which had led to an increase in indictments against corporate executives, in turn created a need for white-collar defense. Later, Mr. Morvillo became chief of the office’s criminal division.

Today, many of the deans of New York’s criminal-defense bar, including Gary P. Naftalis and Charles A. Stillman, served with Mr. Morvillo as assistants under Mr. Morgenthau.”

To make the mix thicker, Judge Rakoff was a student of Morvillo’s:

“This past summer he was representing a defendant in a bribery case before Judge Rakoff, who as a federal prosecutor in the 1970s was supervised by Mr. Morvillo, then chief of the criminal division.”

The Manhattan D.A. also ended up a partner at Morvillo’s firm.

Cyrus R. Vance Jr., the Manhattan district attorney, was a partner at Morvillo Abramowitz for five years before his election in 2009.

Talk about a revolving door.

So Judge Rakoff, the presiding judge at the Galleon group trial,  is an old friend and junior colleague of the defense attorney, Morvillo,  whose firm is a cozy nest for ex-prosecutorial types.  The judge is also an old friend and colleague of  Rajat Gupta’s defense attorney, Gary Naftalis.

Naftalis, despite his stiff fees and reputation, actually failed to get even Judge Rakoff’s most ridiculous rulings overturned.

Robert Morvillo has a reputation, hinted at in the NY Times piece, as some kind of good guy.

But, if you read between the lines, another picture emerges.

What you see is a guy who, when he was working for government prosecutors,  begins a nifty racket. He starts going after the biggest corporate scalps.

The NY Times frames can frame this as a concern for equal justice.

But anyone familiar with the games prosecutors play knows that the are seamier reasons to pursue high-profile cases –  bigger targets add up to media clout for the prosecutor’s office, which adds up to bigger budgets, bigger salaries, and corporate or political office for an ambitious prosecutor.

“Ambitious prosecutor” would describe Rajat Gupta’s nemesis, Preet Bharara, the Indian-American (Sikh) prosecutor who took over the Galleon case, after B. J. Kang had laid all the ground work and was actually knocking on the door of the money0men who needed to be fingered – like mafia hedge-fund honcho, Steven Cohen.

The Cohen investigation mysteriously vanished off the table sometime in 2010, Kang vanished with it, and Batman Bharara shows up in full boot-strapping desi-wonderboy mode, going great guns after a relatively trivial expert-network run by dark-skinned yuppies yearning to play in the big-league with gora crooks.

This had zilch to do with the financial crisis, as even the gora crooks have admitted.

Thanks to Bharara, a product of the New Jersey political machine,  the prosecution of a whole bunch of South Asians, in lieu of the mostly Euro-Semitic criminals who actually scammed the markets, didn’t raise the suspicions it would have otherwise.

That’s how the game is played and knowing that gives us some insight into Mr. Morvillo and his ilk.

In essence, what Robert Morvillo did while a prosecutor was to create a market for highly-paid criminal defense attorneys. He did this by going after senior managers with a vengeance.

Then, when he left the government, he fulfilled that need…earning big bucks in the process.

Perhaps he was a good guy, as the Times suggests.

But, from what is in the Times piece, he doesn’t seem to have saved any corporate scalps in need of it.

He didn’t help Martha Stewart.

If anyone  deserved to have got off for  ridiculous over-prosecution it was Martha Stewart. But Morvillo lost her case.

Yet, he managed to save Maurice “Hank” Greenberg, even though, if there was anyone who deserved not to get off, it was Greenberg, whose decades-long shady dealings at AIG and CIA-related Starr are the stuff of legend among 9-11 researchers.

Was Pegasus behind the murder of Bill Colby?

Journalist Christopher Ruddy has also written about the death of Bill Colby while he (Colby) was employed at “Strategic Investment” a newsletter edited at the time by James Dale Davidson and William Rees-Mogg and thus affiliated to Agora Inc.

[Note: the passage “edited…..and thus” was added on May 15, 2013].

Ruddy, an investigative journalist, was originally hired by SI’s James Dale Davidson to investigate the Vince Foster murder death [corrected, May 15, 2013], which Davidson believed was linked to Bill Clinton.

[May 15, 2013 Clarification: Ruddy was funded by right-leaning financier Andrew Mellon Scaife, who later backed NewsMax, the publishing company, of which Ruddy later became the CEO. He was also backed by Joseph Farah, founder of the  conservative Western Journalism Center. But it was Davidson who funded and circulated Ruddy’s influential video of the Foster death, Unanswered: The Death of Vincent Foster.”]

In writing about Colby’s death, Ruddy implies that there is significance in Colby joining SI. He believed SI gained a high profile by carrying the DCI’s name and gave Colby’s name greater recognition. Colby had already annoyed Agency staff by his revelations about past CIA misdeeds. Ruddy seems to imply that Colby’s death had something to do with this.

What Ruddy doesn’t mention is that there is equal evidence that others in government had as much motive to silence Colby as Clinton did, for example, figures like Henry Kissinger and Alexander Haig.

Haig was on the board of News Max, of which Ruddy was at one time is [May 15 – correction] the chief editor and CEO.

Whether Colby’s arrival at SI lent it credibility and thus lent credibility to Davidson’s and Ruddy’s accusations against Clinton, who then had Colby terminated; or whether Colby was killed because of Operation Red Rock, by those who ordered that operation (Nixon, Kissinger, Haig); or whether the reason lies elsewhere,  Colby was evidently murdered, and did not commit suicide, as a son of his, Carl Colby [added, May 15, 2013], now conveniently claims.

Yet another theory is that the Agency itself assassinated Colby to prevent further disclosures about certain illegal CIA operations around the time of Watergate.

Then there is the theory that Colby was taking an interest in the bizarre pedophile ring that John De Camp has written about. (See also this summary of the Franklin investigation). I admit to having a liking for this one.

Finally, some people theorize that Colby’s killing arose from the Aldrich Ames spy case.

Colby, it is claimed,  was himself spying for the Soviets and it was the FBI that disposed of him to spare themselves the embarrassment of a trial.

That would make FBI director Louis Freeh the culprit.

Not being an expert in CIA history, I am hardly qualified to judge the probability of any of these no doubt entertaining tales.

It’s not the villainy that appalls me, really.

Villains one comes across everywhere.

It’s the complete pointlessness of it all. What exactly was accomplished by espionage besides provoking more conflict and retaliation from other countries?

Nothing that couldn’t have been learned by good analysis.

Further comment:

I should state, off the bat, that I am thoroughly unsympathetic to Bill Colby, beyond the sympathy one feels toward anyone who is assassinated.

The man supervised and put through the most horrendous operations (Gladio, Phoenix, MKUltra) all in the name of the government.

He was, at very best, a deluded fool.

Given his position at the top of the intelligence services, he was much more likely to have been fully immersed in evil actions as a high-functioning sociopath, despite his religious leanings.

So, as is usually the case in politics,  both sides (the top brass who likely hunted him down and he himself),  are equally repugnant to normal human beings.

In “Deep Black Lies” David Guyatt describes the formation of the secretive “Pegasus” group, a cover for a deep intelligence group (Operations Sub Group) emerging out of President’s Reagan’s National Security Defense Directive No. 138 (NDSS-138) in Feb 1986.

The OSG had 3 parts: OSG 1 (anti-narcotics, headed by Ted Shackley); OSG 2 (anti-terrorism, headed by Colonel Oliver North, and, after North’s exposure in Contra-gate, by Richard Secord); OSG 3 (“alignment” – i.e.  assassinations to take care of potential problems, by Richard Secord and then Tatum).

The groups reported to the CIA, the FBI, the NSC, the DoD, MI6, Israeli intelligence, George Bush, and a British peer with expertise in Middle Eastern affairs, Lord Chalfont.

Pegasus was responsible for multiple covert operations, including the Superbills Sting, a deal between Iranian leadership, VP George Bush (a former CIA director), and Panama’s Manuel Noriega. The sting involved depositing $8 billion from the Iranians in drug-lord Pablo Escobar’s bank; then, exchanged half of that sum for twice the number of counterfeit bills from the Iranians (courtesy of a printing press and bank quality paper  gifted to the Shah years earlier).

At the end of some clever machinations, the Iranians were supplied with arms by Colonel Oliver North, the counterfeits were left safely in Escobar’s account, and Bush got a real loan on the back of the counterfeit deposit. That money he laundered through a series of banks, including the Vatican bank, to pay off various covert operations around the world.

That left President Bush finally with $3.8 billion, which went to fund the espionage, surveillance, and research apparatus of the coming New World Order.

Central to the new order would be the global drug trade, which would be in the hands of senior people in 11 different countries. In the US, the names included Bill Casey, Bill Colby, Bush, Kissinger, Haig, Secord, Gregg, North, Clinton, and others.

The most fascinating part of the story for me, however, was Tatum’s interactions with Bill Colby, the former CIA director, turned Agora Inc.  newsletter publisher, who had brought Tatum in as a deep cover agent decades earlier.

Before Tatum’s induction into the agency, Colby was CIA Saigon station chief and was organizing a highly confidential operation at the direction of the White House.

Nixon planned to withdraw from SE Asia, because of the unpopularity of the war domestically.

Afraid that the withdrawal would leave a power vacuum into which the North Vietnamese would rush (those were the days of the “domino” theory), he hoped to strengthen the resolve of local Cambodian forces under Lon Nol, against the N. Vietnamese forces, by staging a false-flag attack on military, air and civil installations in Phnom Penh, leaving behind as decoy the bodies of some North Vietnamese “Sappers.”

They would be brought in there and sacrificed by a super secret agency group, Team Red Rock.

What Red Rock members, including Tatum, were not told, was that they too were to be sacrificed. No word was to ever go back home about such a radioactive operation.

But the Red Rock team managed to spot the treachery in advance and escaped, hoping to get back to the Vietnamese border. It wasn’t to be. Their numbers thinning, they ran into the North Vietnamese and ended up tortured by Chinese and Russian interrogators.

Tatum was one of only two who survived. He was debriefed by Bill Colby, who then inducted him into the CIA, to protect him from what he claimed were powerful enemies in DC, i.e., Nixon, Kissinger and the rest of the top brass, from whom the whole criminal adventure had originated.

For the next ten years, Tatum was stationed all over the country at bases like Fort Bragg (Green Berets) and others, safe under the mentoring of Colby.

Then, when Colby retired, he called Tatum and told him to deactivate, claiming he would be in danger without his old boss to look out for him.

Tatum left and was involved in civilian life for a while, until reactivated on orders from above into the US army and from there to Special Forces aviation, through which he became involved in confidential business in the Grenada invasion.

Tatum was contacted again by Colby in 1983 and assigned a role in flying for Oliver North’s “Enterprise” – the whole-sale shipment of cocaine from Latin America (from the Colombian cartels), in return for gun-running to the Nicaraguan Contras.  The Mena airforce shipments during the Clinton era were part of this. Tatum was apparently ignorant of the actual nature of what he was shuttling back and forth. He claims he was also used by another covert group, Pegasus, at the same time.

But soon he realized the dangers and to safeguard himself started keeping records of his activities. Around the same time, he was given a list of the important figures in the global drug-trade by Barry Seal, a pilot from “Enterprise,” based in Mena airport in Arkansas. Seal later turned DEA informant and was killed, allegedly by the Colombian mafia, as retaliation for exposing it.

Before Clinton’s inauguration, Bush pardoned many of those in his circle who were likely to face prosecution imminently.

“In a very real sense, Chip Tatum’s story has now gone full circle. In March 1996, Tatum wrote to former Director of Central Intelligence, William Colby. Readers will recall that it was Colby who originally recruited Tatum into the CIA in 1971 and set him on his career as a covert intelligence operator. Since that time, Tatum developed a fondness for the super-spook, and Colby, in turn, played the role of mentor. In his letter, Tatum asked Colby to write a foreword for his book, Operation Red Rock, which he had completed just two months earlier. But there was another purpose in writing to the former DCI.

Four years earlier, when Tatum resigned his OSG command, he had volunteered to plead guilty on a felony charge in order to discredit himself. This was part of Tatum’s strategy of survival, as he was aware that one didn’t resign this particular team and remain alive for long. The fact that he had collected a body of evidence (including video and audio tapes and other related documentation) as ‘life insurance’, gave muscle to his negotiation. At that time he had not planned to reveal any of the details that he has now provided. In the event, his offer was taken up and he served a prison sentence of just over one year. That is where matters should have ended.

However, having served his sentence-thus complying with his part of the agreement-both Tatum and his wife, Nancy, were subsequently arrested and charged with another misdemeanour [sic]. Tatum got angry. His letter to Colby stated: “I have always kept my word with you. I told you that I would discredit myself. I don’t need your help to accomplish this. But to charge Nancy with a crime, and expect me to allow this, is beyond my comprehension.” He angrily continued: “I know that North and Rodríguez are the fuel for this, but haven’t you warned them that I wouldn’t sit still for this?” He then added: “I do not blame you for this; I am disappointed that you have allowed the ‘Pond Scum’ to control you!”

There then followed a warning: “The second book that I have already started will contain my movements from 1980 through today. I will not only write about the missions but about the NWO [New World Order] timetable and planned events including a chronology.” Ominously he added: “And I will name names. You must detach yourself from these people!”

Tatum then continued by outlining how he would enter evidence for his forthcoming trial and warning that if disallowed for reasons of classification, then “a Special Prosecutor will be required to investigate the information, and the videotape tells no lies.” He added: “I also had stills and an audio clip of a meeting added to the video. Out of respect for you I have kept your name out to this point, but if you don’t separate yourself from these terrorists I will have no choice but to reveal your involvement also. Either way, the group will be exposed-by the media or by the investigating committee. Either way, they’re out of gas!” Tatum closed the letter by saying: “Mr Colby-you’ve done too much for your country to be disgraced in the manner that these men will be.”

Less than two months later, the former DCI was reported missing. By Monday 6 May 1996, Colby’s body was found. It was later reported that Colby died following a “canoeing” accident on the Wicomico River, Maryland. Tatum and many others (including this writer) doubt this. Throughout his life, Colby had an all-abiding fear of water. It would have been entirely out of character for him to step voluntarily into a boat, let alone a canoe.

Despite this, Colby’s death officially remains an accident. This has come as no special surprise to Tatum, who recently stated to this writer: “I knew the OSG were bulletproof when one of our targets, a 25-year-old, was reported to have died of a heart attack. His name was Al-Jarrah.” That, however, is another story.

POSTSCRIPT

At 3 pm on Friday 4 April 1997-shortly after publication of Part 1 of this article-Chip Tatum was roused from a mid-afternoon snooze and told to report to the warden of his prison. He was informed that he was being released-less than midway through his 27-month sentence-with immediate effect, following an appellate court decision that found his conviction by Judge Adams to be illegal.”

Ron Paul Implosion: End The Fed To Technology Revolution…

The Pauls have lost all credibility with me.

Read their latest missive, blogged at EPJ

And reported here at Forbes: “Ron Paul Takes Up Internet Freedom with New Technology Revolution.”

They’ve abandoned the financial battle.

I guess the financial coup of 2008, completed in 2010, is now sealed and cordoned off from prosecution. Last month, as if to confirm that, the White Queen (the City)  took down the Black Knight (Gupta) that had infiltrated the highest ranks of her court, while the White Bishop (Lloyd Doing-God’s Work Blankfein) was witness for the prosecution.

“End the Fed,” which  Rand Paul converted to” Audit the Fed,” is over.

The Pauls have now skipped forward to their new, new project –  the  “Technology Revolution.”

I  never thought that much of “End the Fed,” because, as I’ve blogged previously, the elites can manufacture money from other places besides the Fed, like the BIS and the reconstituted IMF.

But, apparently,  End the Fed doesn’t even work as a popular slogan any more.

So, what do I think about the new campaign?

I think it will be about as effective as their “End the Fed” campaign, which is to say, not effective at all.

Lila: Let’s hope. Personally, I agree with Doug Casey on this:
“As a lone voice, his father was a breath of fresh, more principled air, but he didn’t change anything at all that I can see”

But it will be a great platform for the Pauls to sell books, promote ideas and launch political careers for their family members.

I only hope it won’t be done on the backs of idealistic young people. There were many who put change they could hardly spare in a tough economy into the Paul’s war chest.

The new campaign, which dubs itself  “The Internet Versus The Machine” is obviously a rebranding campaign to move young people away from what Forbes calls “the archaic” (they mean arcane) issues of finance.

Instead, the Pauls will focus on the hip world of the net.

Forbes:

“Young people have been a driving force in the Paul campaign, and the focus on internet freedom should only bolster that support.”

I’m going to call foul on that.

Their new “campaign” is in support of the Technology Revolution on the Internet?

Last I looked the tech revolution has been around for a while, getting on quite well without the Pauls.

One part of  the new project is going to be defending big business from attempts by consumers to scrutinize their data collection.

I kid you not. Here is Buzzfeed on the subject.

“The Pauls also take a stand for the growing industry known (and widely criticized) as “big data.”

“They deride the notion that “private sector data collection practices must be scrutinized and tightly regulated in the name of ‘protecting consumers,’ at the same time as government’s warrantless surveillance and collection of private citizens’ Internet data has dramatically increased.”

So does this mean that Ron Paul is going to be fighting to prevent European governments or NGOs  like EFF or Asian governments from scrutinizing Google’s data collection practices?

Remember that I just blogged that Google’s CEO Larry Page should be arrested for privacy violations and espionage against foreign governments?

I was being satirical about US surveillance of foreign CEO’s and money-managers.

For instance, in the Galleon -Gupta cases, the government used wire-taps whose authorization was obtained pre-textually in violation of the defendants’ constitutional rights.

I don’t recall that the Pauls said a word about that, although the Galleon insider case has dominated the financial media for a couple of years now, and is directly tied via Rajaratnam’s funding of Tamil charities to  issues like terrorist money-laundering  with which Paul adviser Bruce Fein – once employed by an alleged front group for the Tamil Tigers –  is intimately connected.

A recent Washington Post article described how the military is outsourcing surveillance in Africa to private contractors (with little accountability, significant cost over-runs, and little to show for the expense).

Densely populated China and India are both locked in battles with the West for access to resources and agricultural lands.  Indian and Chinese companies compete with American and European countries on the African continent.  China and India have also complained about American corporate espionage.  American companies in turn complain about IP theft from the Indians and Chinese.  Meanwhile the US government itself is involved in IP theft through its pervasive global surveillance.  Where does data collection for corporations end and espionage for the state begin, anyway? Where does the government end and the private sector begin, when private companies are outsourced arms of the government and the government is the enforcement arm of the companies?

Ron Paul is not oblivious to the complexities of all this. He is far too shrewd.

Rajat Gupta’s conviction shows evidence in my opinion of being a  set up by the government, with some arm-twisting from Goldman Sachs. Likely it was an important blow in the  covert psy war against India, an ostensible US ally, about which I blogged here (“Coconut Imperialism”and here, “Educating the Gentoos In India”)

The obvious response from foreign governments (such as India) would be to treat American CEO’s the same way and wire-tap them.

So, is it just coincidental that the Pauls suddenly abandon their financial campaign (which never involved a word against Goldman Sachs), and suddenly rush to head off any animosity toward Google?

On their silence on G Sachs, here is a comment I made (one among many) below the same Daily Bell article:

Why would it distract him?
How hard is it to say, unequivocally, “Goldman Sachs and several other banks, are involved in corrupt actions and should be investigated and prosecuted.”

There. Back to “business.”

He certainly had no problem drawing a hard line over relatively trivial things like a monument to Rosa Parks. If he was really afraid of distraction, why would he make a fuss over something like that, and then on something crucial, suddenly go silent?

Why doesn’t he state clearly – “9-11 needs to be investigated. There is credible evidence that there was some kind of conspiracy involving intelligence agencies, US and foreign.”

I like Ron Paul and want to believe the best of him.

But this excuse doesn’t hold water for two seconds.”

This looks like more material to add to the mounting evidence (see  here) that Paul fronts for financial interests.

Perhaps he cannot avoid doing it, as I’ve said.

But there’s no need to be suckered into what could well be a counter-attack against foreign governments who defend themselves against espionage by Google/Facebook/Hotmail/Skype/TOR and the rest of the government-corporate spy sector, by couching the issue as a defense of the private sector.

That explanation also takes care of Paul’s pandering to the left.

The financial world (which controls the media) is left-leaning, in contrast to non-financial businesses.  Paul’s recent moves make quite a bit of sense when understood that way.  He acts to co-opt the brand of libertarianism appropriately called the Marxism of the right by deploying what seem to be ideologically inflexible positions in the service of  larger imperial goals.

So, I have to ask. Will the two Pauls now be collecting money from young people to defend multi-billion dollar multinationals like Google from scrutiny by the governments on which they spy?

I mean, if you phrased that in the appropriately anti-state way, there will be enough libertarian lemmings who’ll rush to defend Google, I’m sure.

This theory might explain why the financial media, usually so vocal in defense of insider-trading, when it’s done by Michael Milken or Ivan Boesky, is suddenly so quiet  about South Asian insider-trading not a tenth as bad.

Does it also explain why large parts of the alternative press  have had nothing but praise for Julian Assange, another front for western financial interests? And why the Pauls have promoted Assange?

Talk about Trojan horses.

Big corporations cannot be analyzed separately from government.

When the state outsources its spying to corporations, for someone to argue that the state should not limit corporate surveillance because it’s engaged in surveillance itself is confused, at best, and downright misleading, at worst.

Especially when it comes from seasoned politicians like the Pauls.

Parts of the government are scrutinizing the private sector. Often they’re right to.

Other parts of government are much worse than the private sector when it comes to privacy violation.

Those parts of the government are often most incestuously allied with corporations. This is the corporate-state or intel-industrial complex that produces programs like Echelon.

So it’s quite bizarre for the Pauls to claim that Microsoft (or Google or Apple) are pure private-sector entities, when they gain market share directly because of concrete government actions on their behalf and because of endemic and pervasive state-created judicial/legal/financial corruption.

One more thing.  Microsoft wasn’t prescient at all about the net, as the Pauls claim in their new manifesto.

It was way behind. Gates himself admitted it.

There is, finally, another reason why the Pauls may have turned their attention to protecting Big Data,

It looks like Big Data is bankrolling him.

Here’s Reason’s Brian Doherty, making the point:

“With Peter Thiel, founder of the controversial “big data” company Panantir, having made a $2.6 million investment in the (somewhat feckless in the end) superPAC “Endorse Liberty” during campaign season, perhaps the Paul machine sees this as a cause that can energize both grassroots and big money.”

And that’s all  I want to say now about this turn of events until I learn a bit more what is really going on.

But, if you were waiting to see Ron Paul libertarianism implode, it happened this week.

I needn’t remind you that this is BEFORE the bursting of the stock market bubble, 9-11, the 2003 stock market revival that was stimulated by the Iraq war, the housing bubble, the 2008 crash, and the gold boom, all of which provided ample opportunities for people in the know to make killings in the market.

The blog Watts Up With That has links to a comprehensive timeline and graphics that display the thirty-year subversion of climate science behind climate-gate.

The Guardian suggests that the new climate emails probably date back to the first group, released in 2009, and that the motive is, again, to sabotage the Durban Climate summit, which starts on Monday:

“The emails appear to be genuine, but the University of East Anglia said the “sheer volume of material” meant it was not yet able to confirm that they were. One of the emailers, the climate scientist Prof Michael Mann, has confirmed that he believes they are his messages. The lack of any emails post-dating the 2009 release suggests that they were obtained at the same time, but held back. Their release now suggests they are intended to cause maximum impact before the upcoming climate summit in Durban which starts on Monday.”

 There are similarities to the first release, says the Guardian:

“In the new release a 173MB zip file called “FOIA2011” containing more than 5,000 new emails, was made available to download on a Russian server called Sinwt.ru today. An anonymous entity calling themselves “FOIA” then posted a link to the file on at least four blogs popular with climate sceptics – Watts Up With That, Climate Audit, TallBloke and The Air Vent.”

But there are also differences:

“The use of points instead of commas to mark the thousands when writing a number – highly unusual in both the UK or US – is sure to lead to speculation about the nationality of those responsible.”

The Guardian also indicates that although not all the emails have been confirmed genuine, the University of East Anglia claims that they have had no recent breach of security and says that the emails were probably held back from the original batch released in 2009.

Michael Mann, Director of the Earth Sciences Institute at Pennsylvania State University, whose messages are part of the release, is quoted in the piece dismissing the emails as more of the same. He calls the anonymous FOIA “agents” of the fossil-fuel industry and “criminal” hackers.

Hail Hillary, Smart-Power Chief To Come..

I put on my pointy black hat (I actually have one) when I wrote this in August 3, 2010 about Ms. Clinton:

After reading all the hoopla about Chelsea Clinton’s wedding, I felt…once again… that the future of the US, for good or bad, will have more of Hillary Clinton in it. In fact, if I were a witch, I might venture the following prophecy as I stirred my brew:

“All Hail M’Clinton!/Wife of Bill/Secretary of State/That shall be President hereafter…..

“I don’t know why I’ve always felt this was in the cards. Perhaps because of the sustained ferocity of her ambition…or perhaps because she’s a committed Zionist, with Jewish roots…and only a committed Zionist seems likely to be able to do anything about the Israel-Palestine issue….perhaps because she was once a Goldwater Republican and I see a certain kind of conservatism (a populist kind) marrying itself to a certain kind of liberalism. Pat Buchanan made a similar point about Mrs. Clinton during the 2008 campaign….and he makes it again, predicting that Biden and Clinton will trade places in 2012. Meaning, she’ll be Veep and he’ll be Secretary of State. But I wonder if she’ll go farther.

This isn’t something I look forward to. It’s something I fear will take place.”

I wrote this on October 26, 2011:

“Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, presumably Syria and Iran as well. The Zionists – for that is who they are – declare themselves against all standards. The pretense of humanism and secularism has long been dropped. The glorying in power is evident in the response of the elites to the killing of Gaddafi.

Hillary Clinton, uncrowned queen of the future feminist supranational order of Gaia, heiress apparent to the bankers’ throne, cackled.”

Now I see a cover story at Time Magazine, lauding the rise of “smart power” (a notion developed during Bill Clinton’s time). Smart power is something about which we’ve written in Language of Empire.

Smart power includes things like “no-touch torture” (sexual or religious torture), mind-control through social media manipulation, humanitarian interventions (liberventionism is my term for it)*, psyops, black ops, the melding of the military into domestic security operations, war masquerading as peace-keeping or policing, creation of a “grey zone” in which war and peace, civilian and military blend.

I recall coining this term in a discussion of Jean Bricmont, but find it has been used much earlier by Joseph Stromberg.

[Note: I came across this piece because I noticed a blog at LRC by David Kramer, who seems to read this blog (and why shouldn’t he, looks who’s writing it (wink)…and who’s reading it),

I’ve had this notion for a few years for several reasons:

1. Ms. Clinton fulfills the ruling class requirement whereby a white conservative Christian (George Bush) and a black radical leftist (Obama) do the dirty work of putting the transnational order in place and take the negative fall-out. [Nov 25: I mean, these are their respective ideologies. In practice, of course, their policies fed the elites, in Bush’s case, the oil and defense crowd; in Obama’s case, the hedge-fund/speculator complex].

That spares the reputation of the so-called centrists (the ideological establishment) from blame. Then someone from that class, a white feminist and environmentalist, from the heart of ideological and power networks (wife of Bill Clinton, etc. etc.) presides over the new order, someone whose dirty laundry has already been publicly washed, someone who is a hard worker and a natural politician (to give her credit)….

2. Two people as far apart and as experienced as Alex Cockburn and Patrick Buchanan have both noted her popularity among the ruling classes.

3. She was a Goldwater Republican originally. She has the confidence of many in the “permanent government ” (a.k.a. bureaucrats and spy agencies). She is unlikely to surprise…

4. There is a faint whiff of the androgyne about her, and the androgyne is revered in many occult traditions, and even in the traditional practices of Hinduism, from which the occult traditions take their inspiration, if not their direct descent. The ethos of the androgyne is embodied in popular language as the “strong woman” and the “metrosexual”. ….

Those are my reasons…and of course, as always, they’re just good guesses. Meanwhile, keep your stop-losses tight, and hold onto your (regular) hat..

Globalists Subverting Liberal Arts Discourse In India

Rajiv Malhotra discusses why Hinduism, despite being a religion of around a billion people, has never been understood or defended in the same way as Christianity and Islam. He calls on Hindus to understand and reproduce today the ancient tradition of purva-paksha (Sanskrit for ‘the first objection to any assertion in a debate’), that is, understanding the ideology or belief-system of another culture on its own terms.

While Christianity has produced an enormous range of texts to explain its world-view and to defend it and “place” it among other religions and traditions, modern and ancient, Hinduism has failed to do so, subscribing to a quietistic belief that possession of knowledge or truth within oneself is sufficient.

Thus, among all religions, Christianity, in all its variants, has produced the greatest quantity of discourse, and the most widely dispersed, allowing it to colonize intellectual discourse across the board.

This is true, even while it’s true that orthodox Christianity is under attack from secularists. Many Christians indeed feel themselves singled out for attack, among all religions.

However, that feeling is misleading. The real problem is that secularism (an outgrowth of liberal Christianity itself) is creating the friction.

It is not that other religions are attacking Christianity so much as that secularism, while still attached to its parent religion, Christianity, is colonizing the intellectual spaces of other cultures. Secularism uses the symbols and beliefs of Western Christianity as a target, although the real social ills under attack (consumer culture, racial or gender oppression etc.) belong to the societal structure of post-Christian Europe.

The globalist agenda, which involves the export of cultural Marxism to other cultures, draws the people in those cultures away from producing an effective discourse of their own real indigenous traditions. Instead, it seduces them to take up the globalist cultural Marxist discourse because of the opportunities for advancement that discourse offers through the international network attached to it.

Thus, a young Indian in school will be told that India has no “liberal arts” or “libertarian” tradition. He must get it all from the West. And when he does, thanks to foundation funding, it comes wearing the friendly face of “universal human rights”, “democracy”, “women’s rights’ or “gay rights”, under which lies a dominant secular discourse that in turn disguises an imperial and colonial agenda.

The colonialism is not the old-style colonialism of occupying land and taking over homes, although that too can be found in one of the cockpits of the globalist project, Israel.

The other cockpits in Europe and in America content themselves with propagating ideology that permits the colonization and domination of other people’s homelands through transnational state-capitalism, but they also try to protect they own homelands from reciprocal movement, by restricting and demonizing third-world immigration. They want freedom for their businesses, to put it bluntly, but no freedom for other human beings. That not only preserves the power of the Western establishment, but enhances it.

The new colonialism is cultural colonization. The subversion and destruction of civlizations, not simply Islam, but any civilization in the path of the globalist agenda.

In that sense, the Hindu civilization in India and orthodox forms of Christianity or non-European Christian communities, are also under attack.

The only difference is that the Christians have an enormous tradition, a dominant media and academic presence, and considerable wealth behind them.

So far, argues Malhotra, Hindus have not had anything similar. They build temples and endow charities, but they have not spent the same time or money defending and exposing to the public their own intellectual and cultural heritage. It might be time for them to do so aggressively.
